National and European Identity – Opposing or Complementary Concepts in Czech, Polish and EU Law?

This article gives a practical overview of the legal aspect of European identity and the role it plays in the EU Law. It analyses the mutual relationship and legal function of two concepts of European Union Law: national identity and European identity. It also summarises the functioning of national identity concepts in Czech and Polish constitutional practice and compares it with practice in the European Union

Wydział ChemiiPrzegląd literaturowy, którego dokonano w niniejszej pracy doktorskiej, wskazuje na rosnące zainteresowanie wykorzystaniem surowców pochodzenia fermentacyjnego w preparatach do pielęgnacji skóry. Postbiotyki to innowacja wykorzystująca korzyści zawarte w probiotykach. Postbiotyki są atrakcyjną propozycją, gdyż eliminują związane z żywymi probiotykami obawy dotyczące bezpieczeństwa produktu i okresu trwałości, a także mogą pozytywnie wpływać na skład mikrobiomu. W ramach części doświadczalnej przedłożonej rozprawy doktorskiej w wyniku badań in vitro wytypowano rodzaj i stężenie surowca najlepiej rokującego w kontekście pozytywnego wpływu na mikrobiom skóry i najlepiej rokującego w kontekście redukcji szczepów patogennych S. aureus, P. aeruginosa, E. coli, C. albicans. Opracowanie trzynastu formulacji: w postaci emulsji w postaci żelowego serum pielęgnacyjnego i w postaci żelu myjącego do twarzy, w których umieszczono substancje najlepiej rokujące na wzrost drobnoustrojów mikrobiomu i niepromującego wzrostu szczepów patogennych było kluczowym etapem niniejszej rozprawy doktorskiej. Kluczowym etapem było zbadanie wpływu działania produktów z postbiotykami na mikrobiom skóry ochotników Zbadano także skuteczność działania produktów rynkowych z postbiotykami na mikrobiom skóry ochotników. Istotną częścią badań przedłożonej rozprawy doktorskiej było zbadanie wpływu rodzaju podłoża na uwalnianie kwasu ƴ-aminomasłowego. W kolejnych etapach oceniono wpływ formulacji kosmetycznej z GABA na wybrane parametry skóry. Badanie skuteczności preparatów kosmetycznych z wykorzystaniem nieinwazyjnych metod badawczych zostało przeprowadzane w celu weryfikacji deklarowanych na produkcie zalet produktu kosmetycznego.The literature review performed for the purpose of this dissertation indicates a growing interest in the use of fermentation-derived raw materials in skin care preparations. Postbiotics are an innovation that takes advantage of the benefits contained in probiotics. Postbiotics are an attractive proposition because they eliminate the product safety and shelf life concerns associated with live probiotics and can positively influence the composition of the microbiome. As part of the experimental part of the submitted dissertation, as a result of in vitro studies, the types and concentrations of the most-promising raw materials were selected in terms of positive effects on the skin microbiome and most promising for the reduction of pathogenic strains of S. aureus, P. aeruginosa, E. coli, and C. albicans were also selected. The development of thirteen formulations: in the form of emulsion gel skin care serum and a gel facial wash in which the active ingredients were the substances most promising for the growth of the natural skin microbiome and non-promoting the growth of pathogenic strains, was the overriding goal of this dissertation. A key step was to study the effect of postbiotic products on the skin microbiome of volunteers. The effectiveness of market products with postbiotics on the skin microbiome of volunteers was also investigated.The results indicated very high efficacy of both probiotic and postbiotic-based cosmetics. An important part of the study presented in the submitted dissertation was determination of the effect of substrate type on the release of γ-aminobutyric acid. In the next stages, the effect of the cosmetic formulation with GABA on selected skin parameters was evaluated.
