A Security Pattern for Cloud service certification

Cloud computing is interesting from the economic, operational and even energy consumption perspectives but it still raises concerns regarding the security, privacy, governance and compliance of the data and software services offered through it. However, the task of verifying security properties in services running on cloud is not trivial. We notice the provision and security of a cloud service is sensitive. Because of the potential interference between the features and behavior of all the inter-dependent services in all layers of the cloud stack (as well as dynamic changes in them). Besides current cloud models do not include support for trust-focused communication between layers. We present a mechanism to implement cloud service certification process based on the usage of Trusted Computing technology, by means of its Trusted Computing Platform (TPM) implementation of its architecture. Among many security security features it is a tamper proof resistance built in device and provides a root of trust to affix our certification mechanism. Proposal for a Supersymmetric Standard Model

The fact that neutrinos are massive suggests that the minimal supersymmetric standard model (MSSM) might be extended in order to include three gauge-singlet neutrino superfields with Yukawa couplings of the type $H_2 L \nu^c$. We propose to use these superfields to solve the $\mu$ problem of the MSSM without having to introduce an extra singlet superfield as in the case of the next-to-MSSM (NMSSM). In particular, terms of the type $\nu^c H_1 H_2$ in the superpotential may carry out this task spontaneously through sneutrino vacuum expectation values. In addition, terms of the type $(\nu^c)^3$ avoid the presence of axions and generate effective Majorana masses for neutrinos at the electroweak scale. On the other hand, these terms break lepton number and R-parity explicitly implying that the phenomenology of this model is very different from the one of the MSSM or NMSSM. For example, the usual neutralinos are now mixed with the neutrinos. For Dirac masses of the latter of order $10^{-4}$ GeV, eigenvalues reproducing the correct scale of neutrino masses are obtained.Comment: 9 pages, latex, title modified. Sujeto a este objetivo general se pretende relacionar este tema con la costumbre de comer insectos y cómo un acto considerado ritual se transforma en algo cotidiano.Otra de las cuestiones tratadas aborda el rechazo social en Occidente, la necesidad vital de saber qué estamos comiendo, la memoria gustativa vinculada al pasado del consumidor y cómo la entomofagia permite a las sociedades llevar una vida más sostenible

La "Rhetorica Ecclesiastica" (1574-1583) de Agostino Valier y el Cardenal Carlos Borromeo

Es bastante frecuente encontrar referencias a un grupo de tratados neolatinos de predicación llamados 'retóricas borromeas', nombre tomado de un par de conocidos estudios de Marc Fumaroli. Tras una breve introducción al estado de la cuestión, este artículo describe la Rhetorica de Agostino Valier en comparación con las Instruciones prædicatoris verbi Dei, de Carlos Borromeo. Como conclusión, el autor encuentra que la influencia más rastreable en Valier es la orden originaria de escribir y publicar el tratado, algo que el propio Valier aborda con una cierta reluctancia. La definición de un grupo 'borromeo' debería, pues, empezar a ser discutida a partir de ahora
