Las reflexiones de Mill sobre la relación del hombre con la naturaleza
Can the way Nature acts be a model to imitate? Isn¿t it a praise to say that something is natural?
The problem is that if we understand Nature as the whole or totality of everything that happens, it is pure
nonsense to recommend following the precepts of Nature, as it is something we cannot avoid doing. On
the contrary, if we understand as natural everything that happens without the voluntary participation of
men, we are not making the advice to follow Nature more convincing, because most human actions have
as their end to correct the suffering and diseases that the ways of Nature create. But if it is true that Mill
presents these ideas in his essay Nature, we cannot forget that in other works he insists on the formative
value for one¿s character of the contemplation of natural beauties; and this last thesis has important political
consequences we are going to bring out
The universal desire for peace, trade as a producer of peace, and the thinking of Hume on the refinement in the arts

In this way we see two different methods of addressing the problem of achieving peace: appealing directly to reason or studying the course of history
A note on the combustion of blends of diesel and soya, sunflower and rapeseed vegetable oils in a light boiler
Producción CientíficaThis paper deals with the study of the vegetable oils (VO) used as fuel for heating. The properties of sunflower, rape and soya oils are studied and these are compared with the properties of C-diesel fuel (used for heating domestic purposes in Spain). The mixtures of VO and diesel are studied and characterized and, finally, the results of a series of combustion trials of the mixtures in a conventional heating installation with a mechanical pulverization burner are presented. The results show that viscosity of VO limits the use of blends up to 40% of them, and the oxygen present in their structures contributes to an efficiency gai
