Examining Moral Foundations and Thinking Styles
Intuition and moral beliefs are used unconsciously in every day decision making, with intuition being the main decision maker and moral foundations providing reasoning for a decision. Intuition refers to the gut feelings a person may have about a situation or decision. Moral foundations refer to themes of morality that individuals may rely on. Under varying circumstances, different moral beliefs may be more salient and important when making a judgement. Given the role that both of these play in everyday decision making, this study aimed to explore the relationship between the three types of intuition (holistic, inferential, and affective) and the five moral foundations (harm/care, fairness/cheating, loyalty/betrayal, authority/subversion, and sanctity/degradation) and how different thinking styles, namely analytic and intuitive thinking styles, would influence the moral foundations that are relied on when making moral decisions. It was hypothesized that the three types of intuition would be related to the sanctity/degradation moral foundation and that these relationships would be positive. Furthermore, it was expected that participants under cognitive load would rely more on individualizing moral values when making moral judgements. Results showed the strongest relationship between the harm/care moral foundation and affective intuition. Thinking styles did not affect the moral foundations that participants relied on when making moral decisions
On some analogies between measure and category and their applications in the theory of additive functions
The firs t p a r t of the pape r is devoted to topological analogies
of some theorems from re a l analysis (Vitali’s covering theorem, Lebesgue theorem
o n oute r density, Smital’s lemma). Then we give a topological analogue of a theorem
of Ostrowski connected with additive functions.
In the la st p a r t we deal w ith Hamel bases, specially w ith Burstin bases. We
prove th e ir existence and study topological and measure properties
A note on the core topology
In the paper examples are given of some plane sets peculiar with respect to the core
topology. Some simple topological properties of the cartesian product of sets lying in linear spaces
endowed with the core topology are also proved

Sequences of iterates of random-valued vector functions and continuous solutions of related equations
Given a probability space (Ω, A, P), a separable metric space X, and a random-valued vector function f : X × Ω → X, we obtain some theorems on the existence and on the uniqueness of continuous solutions φ : X → R of the equation φ(x) = ∫Ω φ(f(x,ω)) P(dω)
Theorem of Bernstein-Doetsch in Baire spaces
Theorem of Bernstein and Doetsch is one of the most important in the theory of
convex (or convex in the sense of Jensen) functions. In this paper it is shown that the original proof
of Bernstein and Doetsch of this theorem can be adapted in a more general situation. Also some
parts of the proof may be of interest for themselves
Physiotherapy treatement of patients with perinatal brachial plexus injury
Perinatal brachial plexus injury are usually a consequence of shoulder dystocia during childbirth, after the birth of the head there are difficulties with the birth of the shoulders. In this situation, childbirth is stopped and the shoulders of the fetus are not born spontaneously. The development of medicine provides patients with access to many methods of treating this injury. An interdisciplinary team of specialists is needed to minimize the negative effects of damage that are perceived by the patient, sometimes throughout life. Knowledge about physiotherapy in perinatal damage of the shoulder plexus is of great importance for the future of a child who suffered perinatal trauma to the shoulder plexus. Therefore, this topic should be constantly developed and re-examined so that in the future we can provide patients with multi-specialist care
Hand function improving in patients with cerebral palsy
The hand is an organ of our body that fulfills a lot of different functions. Through efficiently functioning upper limbs, we experience and learn, communicate with the world, and gain independence. In the cerebral palsy, the role of the therapist is to properly plan
the hand therapy process, it requires him to have a good knowledge of what MPD is, which
is associated with movement symptoms and coexisting disorders that affect the child's abnormal development. The physiotherapist must properly assess the child's functional level, anticipate and plan therapy so that the child reaches its maximum development potential.
This is not an easy task because virtually every child with cerebral palsy is different, other are its movement limitations, accompanying symptoms and the environment in which
he is brought up
