LITERASI DATA DAN TANTANGAN INDUSTRIALISASI 4.0 BAGI MASYARAKAT PESISIR DI INDONESIA

Industrialization 4.0 brought many changes to the community, especially in terms of sustainable internet usage. Data literacy arises because of the large amount of data and information spread on the internet. This objective study to provide knowledge about data literacy in coastal society, another purpose is to explain the challenges that arise as a result of the birth industrialization 4.0 which certainly also felt by the coastal community. This methodology uses a literature review approach. Data collection techniques are carried out through studies of reference sources that are used as references. This study discussion is that data literacy in coastal society is devoted to basic knowledge in protecting personal data when conducting activities using the internet. Public-private data that needs to be kept secret include; identity number, account number, full name, telephone number, password, address, and others. While the challenges faced by coastal society in the industrialization 4.0 cover many aspects, three main challenges can be felt directly by coastal society such as big data, internet objects, and robotization.Keyword: coastal communities; data literacy; industrialization 4.0; information technologyABSTRAKIndustrialisasi 4.0 membawa banyak perubahan bagi masyarakat terutama dalam hal pemanfaatan internet secara terus-menerus. Literasi data muncul karena banyaknya data dan informasi yang tersebar di internet. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan mengenai literasi data pada masyarakat pesisir, tujuan lain adalah untuk menjelaskan tantangan yang muncul akibat dari lahirnya era industrialisasi 4.0 yang pastinya dirasakan juga oleh masyarakat pesisir (nelayan). Metodologi menggunakan pendekatan riset pustaka. Proses pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara telaah terhadap sumber referensi yang digunakan sebagai rujukan. Kajian ini menghasilkan pembahasan bahwa literasi data pada masyarakat pesisir dikhususkan pada pengetahuan dasar dalam menjaga data pribadi pada saat melakukan aktifitas menggunakan internet. Data pribadi masyarakat yang perlu dijaga kerahasiaannya meliputi: nomor identitas, nomor rekening, nama lengkap, nomor telepon, password, alamat tinggal dan sebagainya. Sedangkan tantangan yang dihadapi masyarakat pesisir di era industrialisasi 4.0 meliputi banyak aspek, namun terdapat tiga tantangan utama yang dapat dirasakan secara langsung oleh masyarakat pesisir seperti big data, internet of thing dan robotization.

Menelusur Jejak Sejarah Perkembangan Penerbitan Buku Islam di Indonesia

The publication of books about religion is now increasingly rapid, publishing Islamic books has been going on since the days of the classical and mid-Islamic world, where at that time science grew rapidly to enter developing countries such as Indonesia. The purpose of this article is to explore the historical history of the development of Islamic book publishing in Indonesia. The method used is library research. The development of Islamic literature in Indonesia began to boom around the 1970s. Many Islamic publications born at that time such as PT. Bulan Bintang, Gema Insani Press, PT. Al-Ma’arif, PT. Mizan Library and so on. In terms of appearance, the Islamic-themed books of the 1970s appeared to be classical in style, using newspaper and display tended to be less attractive, while publications after the 1980s appeared different because the books published looked more advanced, both in terms of their substance content, presentation style, as well as artistic. The conclusion is that Islamic education and publishers engaged in publishing Islamic books must have a strong bond in terms of the collaboration between the two countries, especially about the procurement of Islamic books needed by the community

Perpustakaan Digital dan Kelompok Pengguna Potensial

Tipe pengguna potensial adalah kategori masyarakat yang tidak memiliki kesempatan ke perpustakaan karena keterbatasan fisik, waktu, hingga akses. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah memberikan sebuah perspektif tentang peranan lain dari perpustakaan digital sebagai media distribusi informasi yang dapat digunakan untuk menarik kelompok pengguna potensial. Implikasi yang dapat diperoleh yaitu optimalisasi peran perpustakaan digital dalam pemerataan sebaran informasi yang seimbang antara pengguna yang sering ke perpustakaan dan kelompok pengguna tertentu. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pustaka. Kajian ini menyimpulkan bahwa kelompok pengguna potensial memiliki hak yang sama terhadap informasi yang tersedia di perpustakaan, oleh karena itu distribusi informasi harus dilakukan secara efektif dan efisien melalui implementasi pengembangan perpustakaan digital sesuai dengan fungsi dan perannya sehingga pemerataan informasi dapat dilakukan secara maksimal karena kebutuhan masyarakat adalah prioritas perpustakaan.ABSTRACT:Type of potential users is the category of people who do not have the opportunity to visit the library because of limitations, time, to access. The research objective is to provide a perspective on digital libraries as a medium of distribution of information that can be used to attract groups of potential users. The implication of the study is to optimize the role of digital libraries in the equitable distribution of information between users who frequently visit the library and certain user groups. The literature study was used as a method of gathering data. Keterampilan Menulis Karya Ilmiah Tentang Inovasi Pengembangan Perpustakaan Bagi Pustakawan Sekolah

As a profession that is supported by science, librarians need to hone their scientific writing skills, one of the benefits derived from these skills is that it makes it easier for them to develop school libraries and become pioneers in moving literacy programs. The purpose of this community service is to guide school librarians in terms of writing scientific papers, especially those that specifically raise themes or issues regarding the development of school libraries. The method used is online-based socialization by emphasizes four main strategies including online seminars, online training, questions and answers, and group discussion forums. The results achieved in this activity were that the implementation was carried out in three sessions with different material topics related to writing scientific papers for school librarians. This Abdimas activity obtained several results, including the team succeeded in deciphering the skills of the participants related to scientific writing, unraveling phenomena that appeared in the school library from the activity participants, generating commitment from participants to produce scientific works, creating social media groups, and documenting activities. Keywords: librarian, school library, scientific wor

TECHNOSTRESS PADA PUSTAKAWAN DAN PERKEMBANGAN TEKNOLOGI DI PERPUSTAKAAN YANG DINAMIS

Introduction. This study aims to explain technostress disturbances in librarians due to technological developments in libraries that are too dynamic, as well as other challenges in the form of librarian readiness in facing the times. Methods. This study also uses the literature study method by conducting a review of relevant literature sources such as books, printed scientific journals, and electronic versions as well as selected online information sources. Result and discussion. The results of this study explain that technostress disturbances in librarians can be seen from five dimensions, namely techno-overload, techno-investment, techno-complexity, techno-insecurity, and techno-uncertainty. Technological developments in the library can be seen from the new challenges for librarians who require new skills in the field of technology, among others; integrated library systems, emerging web technology, electronic resource management, web page development, institutional repositories, and database management. Conclusion. The benefit from this study is librarians need to regulate the rhythm of work by increasing competence in the field of information technology and addressing the development of information technology wisely as an opportunity to improve the quality of library services in the future.Keywords: technostress; information technology; library development

Abstract Data Interpolation in Library OPAC: from the Perspective of Information Dissemination

OPAC libraries basically have provided complete metadata with various data fields that can be used to contain more detailed collection information. This paper will analyze the potential for additional data collections, especially collection abstractions from the point of view of information needs and information dissemination. The study used a literature review analysis by referring to several sources of information such as scientific articles from electronic journals or other online sources as well as books relevant to this study. The data was obtained by observing the OPAC of online-based libraries from several educational institutions. The results of the study showed that the metadata pattern built by the library is still limited to a brief description of the collection so that the benefits of the information are not necessarily obtained by the user. The addition of abstract data to the OPAC, from the point of view of information dissemination is very necessary because the users need more detailed information. Libraries can add abstract data by choosing one of the methods in the summary process, namely abstraction and extraction
