The relationship of participation in children's summer camps with the development of moral reasoning in middle school children

Title The relationship of participation in children's summer camps with the development of moral reasoning in middle school children. Objectives The objective of the research was to determine the relationship between children's participation in summer camps and their moral development. A secondary objective was to determine the relationship between parenting style and the child's personality on the child's moral development. Methods The research was conducted on 164 middle school children. The research used three standardized questionnaires combined into one, specifically the questionnaires were the Alabama Parenting Questionnaire, the BFI - 10, and the Moral Identity Questionnaire. The results from these questionnaires were evaluated by statistical analysis using SPSS software. Subsequently, correlation analysis, regression analysis and T - Test were performed with the results. Results The relationship between participation in children's camps and the development of moral reasoning has not been proven. The relationship between parenting style and moral self was evident in the section dealing with so-called positive parenting. For the relationship with personality, the positive relationship of the traits agreeableness and conscientiousness showed an effect on the development of the moral self part....Název Vztah účasti na letních dětských táborech s vývojem morálního usuzováním u dětí staršího školního věku. Cíle Cílem výzkumu bylo zjistit, jaký vztah je mezi účastí dítěte na letních táborech a jeho morálním vývojem. Sekundárním cílem bylo zjistit, jaký vztah má styl rodičovské výchovy a osobnost dítěte na jeho morální vývoj. Metody Výzkum byl proveden u 164 dětí staršího školního věku. V rámci výzkumu byly využity tři standardizované dotazníky sloučené v jeden, konkrétně dotazníky Alabama parenting questionnaire, BFI - 10 a Moral identity questionnaire. Výsledky z těchto dotazníků byly vyhodnoceny statistickou analýzou v programu SPSS. Následně byla s výsledky provedena korelační analýza, regresní analýza a T - Test. Výsledky Vztah mezi účastí na dětských táborech a vývojem morálního usuzování nebyl prokázán. Vztah mezi stylem rodičovské výchovy a morálním já se projevil u části dotazníku zabývající se tzv. pozitivním rodičovstvím. U vztahu s osobností se projevil na vývoj části morálního já pozitivní vztah vlastností přívětivost a svědomitost. Vztah mezi stylem rodičovské výchovy a morální integritou byl prokázán hraničně u nedůsledné disciplíny. U osobnosti a morální integrity byl prokázán silný vztah u vlastnosti svědomitosti dítěte. Methods of actual indenter shape determination

Knowledge of the actual indenter shape (area function) is fundamental for the correct evaluation of measured indentation data. Various methods and models were developed for the determination of indenter area function. Nevertheless, these methods usually do not have clear geometrical interpretation and/or their application is based on some severe assumption so they cannot be applied generally. Basically, the shape of the indenter can be determined by two different procedures – indentation into reference materials with known mechanical properties or reconstruction of the tip by direct imaging methods, e.g. AFM. The aim of this study is the comparison of these two procedures applied for characterization of Berkovich and spherical diamond indenters. Several materials were used for reference indentation measurements and it was found that the area function obtained on studied materials significantly differs. The area function determined by this technique in fact does not correspond to the actual indenter shape but it characterizes the convolution of actual indenter shape and material surface and deformation characteristics. Instrumentovaná indentace částicového kompozitu WHA: experimentální a numerická studie

Instrumentovaná indentace umožňuje dle zvolené hloubky vtisku stanovit jak makroskopické mechanické vlastnosti celého kompozitu, tak vlastnosti jednotlivých fází. V práci jsou prezentovány výsledky měření indentační tvrdosti i indentačního modulu pružnosti wolframové pseudoslitiny WHA se sférickými částicemi wolframu v matrici na bázi niklu. Současně je pomocí metody konečných prvků modelován vliv materiálového rozhraní pod a vedle indentoru na dosažené hodnoty tvrdosti a indentačního modulu pružnosti v závislosti na hloubce vtisku.Autoři práce by rádi poděkovali pracovníkům Ústavu fyziky plazmatu AV ČR, v.v.i. za výrobu materiálu WHA. MECHANICAL PROPERTIES OF FORGED TUNGSTEN HEAVY ALLOYS

Tungsten heavy alloys are composite materials containing spherical tungsten particles embedded in binder matrix. Their excellent mechanical properties can be further improved by rotary forging. This paper aims to gain deeper understanding of the forging process by investigating the local elastic modulus, hardness, and residual stress of individual phases in W6Ni3Co pseudo-alloy. The resulting global properties of the composite material such as stress-strain behavior, fracture toughness and fatigue crack growth rate behavior are also studied. The results show that sintered and quenched material consists of highly textured matrix containing nearly perfect single crystal spheres of pure W. The rotary forging leads to significant lattice deformations destroying the texture and significantly increasing the hardness of both WNiCo matrix and W particles and making residual stresses in W particles anisotropic with increased compression along the longitudinal axis of the forged part

KNOWLEDGE OF PREMEDICAL FIRST AID REQUIRMENTS FOR TEACHERS IN NURSERY SCHOOL

Bachelor thesis ?Premedical First Aid Knowledge Requirements for Teachers in Nursery Schools? summarises urgent conditions and diseases occurring primarily among preschool children. The theoretical part deals with selected injuries, from the most serious injuries (resuscitation, disorders of consciousness, suffocation) to the less serious ones (eg fractures). Pathophysiology, symptoms and finally providing of first aid is briefly described for each of the injuries. This part was described mandatory legislation for teachers regarding first aid education in this section. I used a content analysis of professional publications in this part of my thesis. The second part is practical and related to my research. The aim of the research was to find out level of first aid knowledge among teachers in nursery schools. I used a quantitative method in the form of questionnaires in my research. The questionnaire consisted of fourteen questions. These questionnaires were filled mostly by teachers during personal meetings in nursery schools near my residence in Brno. The research is processed with the charts and descriptions. The results of the answers are given as a percentage in each graph. The hypothesis, established at the beginning of the research, was not confirmed. Teaching staff have sufficient knowledge of first aid. However, they have lacks in innovations piece of knowledge first aid (CPR, choking). In these cases, most teachers would act based on outdated standards. Primarily right answers dominated in further points of the questionnaire. My surprising finding was that half of those surveyed teachers had never undergone any first aid training
