    Relative Ontology and Science

    Ontology is a knowledge about world as a whole. Union of ontology and science put somelimitations on ontology, that are caused by need to co-ordinate language of science with language of ontology. Main characteristic features of science are logic and mathematics. Union of ontology and science could be successful only if ontology will have the same features. These requirements meets relative ontology based on a assumption that being is possible only through act of inequality, and non-being - through act of equality. Examining of inequality structure leads us to a need of considering in being act of equality as well. As a result we should refuse of considering problems of Being-Non-Being separately and proceed to united problem of Being-Non-Being. Inequality can be represented by mathematical subtraction. That allows to substantiate ontologically basic mathematical concepts: concepts of set and number. Mathematics become a part of ontology. Inequality is an idea. Equality is a matter. Being is a unity of matter and idea. Change of being can be fulfilled in two ways - material and ideal. Relation between both ways of change gives us three basic kind of being: somatic, anthropological and theological. In somatic being change is realized by means of material way. In anthropological being - both material and ideal ways are equally available. Theological being uses ideal way of change. Development of world proceeds from somatic - through anthropological - to theological one.La ontología es un conocimiento acerca del mundo como un todo. La unión de la ontología y de la ciencia pone algunas limitaciones a la ontología, que son causadas por la necesidad de coordinar el lenguaje de la ciencia con el lenguaje de la ontología. Las principales características de la ciencia son la lógica y las matemáticas. La unión de la ontología y de la ciencia podría tener éxito sólo si la ontología tuviese las mismas características. Estas condiciones se dan en una ontología relativa basada en la idea de que "estar" solo es posible a través de un acto de desigualdad, y "no-ser" a través de un acto de igualdad. El examen de la estructura de la desigualdad nos lleva a la necesidad de considerar también el ser acto de la igualdad. Como resultado de ello debemos rechazar la consideración de los problemas de ser-no-ser separado y proceder al problema de la unión de ser-no-ser.     Study of zones of wettability distribution based on lateral logging for oil-bearing Visean reservoirs of the Solikamsk depression

    The relationship between well electrometry data and wettability of Visean clastic reservoirs of the Solikamsk depression was studied. Results of lateral logging with conventional and special core analysis are compared. Theoretical aspects of the influence of reservoir properties, characteristics of the pore space structure and wettability on electrical conductivity is considered. Theoretical calculations of the range of variation of the specific electrical resistance in the conditions of clastic reservoirs of various types are performed. The significant influence of wettability index of surface rocks on the rock resistance is substantiated. The analysis and comparison of different methods for assessing the wettability of rocks from core data are performed. It was found that the greatest errors in rock wettability assessments are associated with hydrophilization of the surface due to core extraction. It is concluded that the X-ray core tomography as a direct method for visualization of pore space in assessing the wettability of operational objects is a perspective method. As a result of generalization of core studies and considered analysis of the development history the geological section with anomalously high specific electrical resistances (200 Ωm and above) is interpreted as predominantly hydrophobic. Schemes of distribution of hydrophilic and hydrophobic reservoirs for the Visean operational reservoirs of the Solikamsk depression can be used to develop design solutions for both production and injection wells

However, there are very few studies detailing the empirical results of direct user involvement in large industrial software development products. In this paper we report the outcomes of a novel approach taken by the Software House of one of major Russian banks (Ak Bars Bank) on how to improve the development process by directly involving end customers in the requirement elicitation phase of mobile, energy efficient ap- plications.     The article analyzes the results of measuring the parameters of the engagement of students and research and teaching staff of the university. Based on the experience of the leading consulting companies, MEPhI has developed a technology for assessing the engagement parameters used to measure the level of emotional state of personnel. A special feature of the developed methods for assessing the engagement parameters is the possibility of practical application of the results of analytical research for subsequent management decision-making, as well as the use of the proposed approach by the organizations of higher education. The assessment of the parameters of engagement is focused on solving the problems of increasing the competitiveness of the university by improving the key areas affecting the development of corporate culture: performance management, the possibility of personnel professional development and career growth, the creation of adaptive mechanisms of remuneration and recognition, the development of effective communication methods, improvement of decision-making in the field of infrastructure support, the development of a personnel reserve and mechanisms for adaptation and attraction of young employees. The developed methods for assessing the parameters of engagement incorporate the best practices of domestic and foreign high-tech companies, including the experience of Rosatom State Corporation.     Targeting the synthesis of Al/C based ambiphilic molecules, we investigated the dehydrohalogenation of a series of (benz)imidazole alane adducts. Depending on the steric bulk of the heterocycle, different dimeric products with various ring sizes were obtained. Dehydrohalogenation of the adduct of 1‐mesityl imidazole (Mes^{Mes}Im) and 0.5 [tBu2_{2}AlBr]2_{2} furnished the dimer 2, featuring a “classical” N‐heterocyclic carbene (NHC) and a mesoionic or “abnormal” NHC (aNHC) subunit within a single molecule. The dimer is bound loosely enough to allow thermally induced isomerization of 2 into the isomers 2NHC^{NHC} (all NHC) and 2aNHC^{aNHC} (all aNHC). Dehydrohalogenation of the adduct of 1‐mesityl‐2‐methyl imidazole (Mes^{Mes}ImMe^{Me}) and 0.5 [tBu2_{2}AlBr]2_{2} (4) yielded the dimeric compound 5 consisting of two N‐heterocyclic olefin (NHO) subunits. Although these six‐ and eight‐membered heterocycles show no FLP‐type reactivity towards small molecules like H2_{2}, CO or CO2_{2}, we observed an ambiphilic behavior of the imidazolyl alanes during our studies. Salt metathesis reactions using Mes^{Mes}Im resulted in the formation of 3, which can be viewed as tBu2_{2}AlBr adduct of an Al/N ambiphile. Utilizing heterocycles such as benzimidazole or spiroindole provided the entry point to C–H (7, 9) and N–H (10) activation products, most likely resulting from a reactivity of intermediate species as Al/C ambiphiles

    СПЕКТРОФЛУОРИМЕТРИЧЕСКОЕ ОПРЕДЕЛЕНИЕ АНТИОКИСЛИТЕЛЬНОЙ ПРИСАДКИ (АЛКИЛИРОВАННОГО ДИФЕНИЛАМИНА) В НЕУГЛЕВОДОРОДНОЙ СМАЗОЧНО-ОХЛАЖДАЮЩЕЙ ЖИДКОСТИ

    Samples of fresh and waste non-hydrocarbon lubricating-cooling liquid (NLCL) (manufactured by Ingersoll Rand) from the compressed air compressor based on the esters of high atomic alcohols of polyalkylene glycols were the objects of the study. A spectrofluorimetric method for the determination of an antioxidant additive (alkylated diphenylamine) in the NLCL was proposed. TLC identification of alkylated diphenylamine and the optimization of the conditions of NLCL chromatographic analysis as well as the assessment of the metrological characteristics of the developed methodology were conducted.  The optimal conditions for the spectrofluorimetric detection of alkylated diphenylamine were selected and included the wavelength of excitation, emission, the choice of solvent, and the determined range of analyte concentrations (from 15 to 250 μg / l). The limits of the detection and determination of alkylated diphenylamine in NLCL were calculated. They amounted to 0.02 and 0.05 mg / l respectively. The influence of the components of the base oil on the analytical signal of diphenylamine was evaluated. The method for determining alkylated diphenylamine in NLCL was tested on a real sample. The fact of the degradation of antioxidant additives during the operation of the lubricating fluid has been established. It manifested itself in a decrease of the additive concentration. The selected methodology was express and simple in execution. Объектами исследования были образцы свежей и отобранной из компрессора сжатого воздуха НСОЖ на основе эфиров высокоатомных спиртов полиалкиленгликолей (производство компании «Ingersoll Rand»). При разработке методики проведены: ТСХ идентификация алкилированного дифениламина и оптимизация условий хроматографического анализа НСОЖ, спектрофлуориметрические исследования  спектров поглощения и эмиссии дифениламина и алкилированного дифениламина, выделенного из образца НСОЖ, оценка метрологических характеристик разработанной методики. Оптимизированы условия спектрофлуориметрического детектирования алкилированного дифениламина: длины волн возбуждения и эмиссии, выбор растворителя, диапазон определяемых концентраций аналита (от 15 до 250 мкг/л). Полученные спектры люминесценции растворов НСОЖ, алкилированного дифениламина и дифениламина в гексане показали близость их флуориметрических свойств и отсутствие мешающего влияния компонентов смазочной жидкости на аналитический сигнал антиокислительной присадки, а также возможность использования дифениламина в качестве стандартного образца  при спектрофлуориметрическом определении алкилированного дифениламина в НСОЖ. Установлены пределы обнаружения и определения алкилированного дифениламина в НСОЖ, которые составили 0.02 и 0.05 мг/л соответственно. Оценено влияние компонентов базового масла на аналитический сигнал алкилированного дифениламина. Методика определения алкилированного дифениламина в НСОЖ апробирована при исследовании реальных образцов, установлен факт деградации антиокислительной присадки в процессе эксплуатации смазочной жидкости, проявляющийся на снижении ее концентрации.     THERMIONIC COOLING SYSTEM ОF CERAMICHOT PARTS ОF GAS TURBINE ENGINE

    Theses are devoted the Thermionic Cooling System (TCS) of the turbine blades (TB) and other thermointense elements (ТЕ) of the gas turbine units (GTU) and engines (GTD) made of ceramic materials with metallic conductivity (borides and carbides). The essence of TCS consists in increase in thermoemissive capacity of surface of LT and ТЕ (ensuring electron work function ). So, during electron work function of surface of TB from borides ceramics in 2.7 eV reduction of temperature by 120-150°C and decrease in temperature stresses by 50-60% is possible. Thus, TCS allows to solve the main problems of TB and ТЕ from borides and carbides (low crack resistance) without the need for the difficult internal cooling system

    MAGIC Database and Interfaces: An Integrated Package for Gene Discovery and Expression

    The rapidly increasing rate at which biological data is being produced requires a corresponding growth in relational databases and associated tools that can help laboratories contend with that data. With this need in mind, we describe here a Modular Approach to a Genomic, Integrated and Comprehensive (MAGIC) Database. This Oracle 9i database derives from an initial focus in our laboratory on gene discovery via production and analysis of expressed sequence tags (ESTs), and subsequently on gene expression as assessed by both EST clustering and microarrays. The MAGIC Gene Discovery portion of the database focuses on information derived from DNA sequences and on its biological relevance. In addition to MAGIC SEQ-LIMS, which is designed to support activities in the laboratory, it contains several additional subschemas. The latter include MAGIC Admin for database administration, MAGIC Sequence for sequence processing as well as sequence and clone attributes, MAGIC Cluster for the results of EST clustering, MAGIC Polymorphism in support of microsatellite and single-nucleotide-polymorphism discovery, and MAGIC Annotation for electronic annotation by BLAST and BLAT. The MAGIC Microarray portion is a MIAME-compliant database with two components at present. These are MAGIC Array-LIMS, which makes possible remote entry of all information into the database, and MAGIC Array Analysis, which provides data mining and visualization. Because all aspects of interaction with the MAGIC Database are via a web browser, it is ideally suited not only for individual research laboratories but also for core facilities that serve clients at any distance
