Improving the Efficiency of Dehydrogenation Catalyst Resource while Reducing the H[2] Gas Circulation Rat

    Get PDF
In the research the various ways of increasing the selectivity of the dehydrogenation process and reducing the intensity of coke formation have been studied. All results were received by means of the mathematical model of the dehydrogenation process with the calculating technique of optimal water flow. The main conclusion consists in the fact that the decrease in molar ratio H[2]/feed leads to increasing the catalyst deactivation by coke. It can be partially compensated by increasing the supplied water flow to the reactor to 13-14 l/h instead of 9-10 l/h at the end of cycle. Reducing the life of the catalyst to 270-290 days even at an increased water flow is determined by the intensity of the coking reactions. However, the economic feasibility of operating in such condition causes a considerable increase in production of LAB to 181-186 t/day

Semiotically Adaptive Computer-Mediated Speech Therapy with Patients in Aphasia in the Light of Ecolinguistics

The article describes the theory behind the design of a computer application for speech therapy of patients in aphasia. The project novelty consists in its data: to build up the training tasks, the authors used speech patterns that were semiotically relevant for the patients and visual supports obtained in experimental work.  The research featured target-groups of healthy people whose gender, age, and social profile corresponded with those of patients undergoing neurorehabilitation at the Federal Siberian Research and Clinical Center of the Federal Medical and Biological Agency of Russia. The material included statistical data on the sociological characteristics of patients of the neurorehabilitation center in 2014-2018, as well as 18 questionnaires filled in by relatives of patients who were in rehabilitation from February to March 2019. It also involved scripts of interviews with 40 neurologically healthy native speakers of the Russian language of two gender-socio-professional groups that coincided in the language biography and collective speech profile with the most frequent groups of patients with complex motor aphasia. The data were processed using Sketch Engine corpus manager tools.  The main methods of analysis included linguistic experiment, questioning, description, modeling, and design.  The article introduces a methodological linguistic basis and a design project for a novel computer application that organizes speech therapy for patients with aphasia at home. The research was based on the ecolinguistic principle of relevance, which demonstrated good practical application prospects

Metapopulation Structure of Two Species of Pikeworm (Triaenophorus, Cestoda) Parasitizing the Postglacial Fish Community in an Oligotrophic Lake

In the present study, we estimated the levels of infestation of the main fish species that are hosts for two Triaenophorus species: T. crassus and T. nodulosus. The prevalence of T. crassus and T. nodulosus infestations in the intestine of their definitive host–pike Esox lucius was similar (71.0% and 77.4%, respectively). At the same time, the prevalence of T. crassus infestation in muscle tissue was significantly different between the second intermediate hosts, Coregonus lavaretus pidschian (31.4%) and Cor. l. pravdinellus (91.2%), due to considerable differences in their diets. For T. nodulosus, we found significant variations in the levels of prevalence among the second intermediate hosts—100% for Lota lota, 81.8% for Cottus sibiricus 31.9% for Thymallus arcticus, and 24.5% for Perca fluviatilis—that we also explained using different diets. Moreover, analysis of the symmetry of parasite infestations did not reveal any asymmetry between the number of cysts in the left and right body surfaces of the “planktivorous” form/species of whitefish, whereas in the ‘‘benthivorous”, an asymmetry of parasite infestations was found. The research of 2020 was partially supported by the Russian Foundation for Basic Research (grant number 19-34-60028), the data curation in 2021 was partially supported by the Russian Science Foundation (project No. 19-74-10054), and for 2022 was partially supported by the Russian international scientific collaboration program Mega-grant (mega-grant No. 075-15-2022-1134).info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersio

В статье рассматриваются когнитивные стратегии припоминания, которые задействуют пациенты с афазией во время поиска нужных слов в процессе речепорождения.The article considers the remembering strategies used by patients with aphasia while searching for the appropriate words in the process of speech production. We also propose a number of recommendations, which were developed to help speech therapists create questions for patients in the process of rehabilitation

This article is devoted to the results of the analysis of the speech genre ‘Nigerian letter’ based on the main criteria - the image of the author, that corresponds to one of the components of the model of a speech genre by T.V. Shmeleva. The analysis is based on the three groups of nigerian letters - messages aimed at getting money from fraudulent recipients - in English, Russian, French, Italian and Spanish. The classification’s criteria was the image of the author: heir in trouble, a businessman in need of a partner, a man dying from an incurable disease. The analysis of three types of epistolary texts revealed the characteristic verbal means of realization of com-munication strategy of manipulation on each of the three stages of the manipulative influence: preparatory, attractive and perlocutionary. The conclusions about the correlation of genre features of the text and manipulative character rendering text to the recipient were made.

The article discusses essential scientific problems within the scope of a young discipline “Information and Psychological War Linguistics” (IPW). These problems are based both on the analytical review of the scientific literature and on the authors’ observations. The following most significant problems of the IPW are defined: definition of the Information and Psychological War; classifications of its aims and objectives that, as a rule, are implicit in the war discourse; relationship between the object and targets of the IPW; hierarchy of targets; definition and systematization of criteria which might be used in order to identify the IPW texts; methodology of these texts analysis; determination of the IPW genre specifics; and classification of its speech strategies and tactics. The paper clarifies the definitions of some terms: Information and Psychological War, Information and Psychological War Linguistics, the object and the target. The following criteria for identifying IPW texts are distinguished: 1) the public character of the text as a focus on the mass addressee’s consciousness; 2) the inclusion of the text in one or another ideological discourse, characterized by its polemical nature and polarity of assessments; 3) the presence in a text of a socially significant political component related to the state power, government and / or people’s economic welfare, which are negatively represented in the IPW; 4) the prevalence in a text of a defamatory evaluative modality as well as the presence or possibility of the appearance of a protective text with a predominant apologetic modality; 5) the presence in a text of some tools specific to the IPW language: practices of speech aggression and / or speech manipulation; 6) more or less long-term repeatability of defamatory assessments in relation to the same target; 7) propaganda of a new value system contradicting the traditional one. These criteria should be taken into account in conjunction. Likewise, there is a problem of changes in the Russian language under the influence of the IPW, including those of a terminological nature
