Linguistic fairy-tale as a method of teaching grammar at primary school

The article is devoted to making up linguistic fairy-tales in teaching primary schoolchildren English grammar. The author shares her teacher’s experience and shows some ways how to apply the method in different grammatical aspects and inspire schoolchildren to create their own linguistic stories. First the teacher sets an example of some linguistic stories and then stimulates students to compose their own linguistic fairy-tales to perceive some grammatical aspects, like verb forms and word order in sentences. The author comes to conclusion that the method really works with primary schoolchildren because they perceive grammatical constructions more effectively with the help of fabulous linguistics stories created by themselves

БЮДЖЕТНИЙ ДЕФІЦИТ ТА ШЛЯХИ ЙОГО ПОДОЛАННЯ В УКРАЇНІ

The article examines the phenomenon of the general budget deficit and its impact on the country's economy, as well as the main reasons that lead to a budget deficit. The analytical estimation of the deficit of the state budget of Ukraine is carried out. The level of debt security in Ukraine is analyzed. The recommendations for optimization of budget management and debt policy, the application of which will help to overcome the debt crisis in Ukraine and improve the state of its debt security, is given.В статье рассмотрено явление дефицита бюджета в целом и влияние, какой он осуществляет, на экономику страны, а также основные причины, в результате которых возникает бюджетный дефицит. Проведена аналитическая оценка дефицита государственного бюджета Украины. Проанализирован уровень долговой безопасности в Украине. Предоставлены рекомендации относительно оптимизации бюджетного менеджмента и долговой политики, применение которых будет способствовать преодолению долгового кризиса в Украине и улучшению состояния ее долговой безопасности.У статті розглянуто явище дефіциту бюджету загалом та вплив, який він здійснює, на економіку країни, а також основні причини, в результаті яких виникає бюджетний дефіцит. Проведено аналітичну оцінку дефіциту державного бюджету України. Проаналізовано рівень боргової безпеки в Україні. SSR markers reveal diversity in Guinea yam (Dioscorea cayenensis/D. rotundata) core set

The genetic diversity of 219 accessions of Guinea yam germplasm from Benin, Congo, Côte d’ Ivoire, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Ghana, Nigeria, Sierra Leone and Togo was accessed using 15 microsatelliteloci. High diversity of 0.677 was found among the accessions. An allelic average of 8.06 and polymorphic information content (PIC) value of 0.65 was observed for the markers. The observed heterozygosity value of 0.563 suggests that spontaneous hybridization must have contributed to the ancestry of some of the accessions and improvement by farmers must have been far more often by selection of somatic mutants. The twenty distinct cluster groups generated by the radial phylogram shows that Dioscorea cayenensis and D. rotundata are distinct species with intermediate hybrid forms. There was no relationship between relatedness of the accessions and their geographical area of origin. This study contributes to an increased understanding of the genetic organisation of the coregermplasm

Effect of water deficit on maize seeds (Zea mays L.) during germination

This study was conducted to access the effect of water deficit on maize seeds (Zea mays L.) DKC 5143 hybrid during germination. The tasks were to assess the influence of different rank of osmotic stress on the maize lipid peroxidation (LPO), proline content, catalase and aminotransferases activities, and morphometric parameters during the early stages of maize seeds germination. The maize seeds were exposed to five levels of water availability which produced by PEG-1500 solutions (0, 20, 50, 100, 200 g L-1 ). Seeds of maize were germinated on Petri dishes for 7 days under controlled parameters. Amounts of TBARS were increased in maize sprouted seeds by 1.9 times, coleoptiles by 1.4 times, and in roots - by 1.9 times under water deficit. Proline content increased by 9.2 times in coleoptiles and by 6.0 times in 7 days maize roots while PEG-1500 (200 g L–1 ) treatment. An increasing of catalase (CAT), aminotransferases (ALT, AST) activities according to osmotic potential value was also observed. A remarkable development of maize oxidative reaction was associated with a significant reduction in emergence, wet weight and length of water-stressed plants. These results assume that the maize adaptive strategy to osmotic stress during germination was found in the activation of LPO and antioxidant components. The findings provide useful help for correcting the stress state of maize using osmotically active regulators

Comprehensive analysis of prebiotic propenal up to 660 GHz

Since interstellar detection of propenal is only based on two rotational transitions in the centimeter wave region, its high resolution rotational spectrum has been measured up to 660 GHz and fully characterized by assignment of more than 12,000 transitions to provide direct laboratory data to the astronomical community. Spectral assignments and analysis include transitions from the ground state of the trans and cis isomers, three trans-13C isotopologues, and ten excited vibrational states of the trans form. Combining new millimeter and submillimeter data with those from the far-infrared region has yielded the most precise set of spectroscopic constants of trans-propenal obtained to date. Newly determined rotational constants, centrifugal distortion constants, vibrational energies, and Coriolis and Fermi interaction constants are given with high accuracy and were used to predict transition frequencies and intensities over a wide frequency range. Results of this work should facilitate astronomers further observation of propenal in the interstellar medium

The millimeter and submillimeter wave spectrum of cis-methyl vinyl ether

Among the species of potential interstellar relevance, methyl vinyl ether (CH3OCH=CH2) is the simplest ether compound containing both alkyl and alkene functional groups. In order to facilitate its detection in the ISM, we have measured the millimeter and submillimeter wave spectra from 50 to 650 GHz. We present the analysis of pure rotational spectrum of the cis-methyl vinyl ether in the vibrational ground state and in the first excited states of in-plane bending mode (v16) and methyl (v23) and skeletal (v24) torsional modes. Coriolis and Fermi type interactions between the v24 = 1 and v23 = 1 states have been explicitly treated using an effective two-state Hamiltonian
