'Ars lnfirma' Ars Infirma - Aspects of 'auto-poiesis' in Heidegger and Stoic doctrine: An investigation into the incertitude in art

This research investigates a possible agency for 'making art'. It focuses on the convergence of 'life' and 'art' by comparing two conceptions of self-understanding: the Heideggerian 'Dasein', and the Stoic quest for the 'virtuous act'. These serve as a paradigm for the possible integration of the 'self of the artist and the 'work' as an 'ethics' of enduring in 'incertitude'. The first aspect of the convergence of 'life' and 'work' is the separation of the 'instrumental' and the 'virtuous'. I refer to Huizinga's research into the concept of the 'agon' and the concept of 'conversion' as elaborated on by Pierre Hadot The second aspect deals with the Stoic therapeutic concept of philosophy, which leads to the third aspect which is the 'comportment' within which questioning is guided by the disposition of 'discretio', a tact towards the aporia of 'knowledge'. Giorgio Colli points to the words of the 'oracle' as the symbol of language, because it discloses and withdraws (truth) at the same time. The concept of 'logos' he develops I relate to Heidegger's 'letting-be' (Gelassenheit) as the originary comportment to beings in the movement of concealment and unconcealment as the site of 'truth'. I argue that the necessary conditions for 'art' originate in the 'agon' as ordeal and action as well as in the psychagogical methodology of 'awareness' (prosoche) which underpins the possibility to interrogate the particular mode of constituted consciousness as it expresses itself in 'comportment', and the concept of 'phronesis, which moderates disclosure and withdrawal, concealment and unconcealment I argue that this mode is itself a 'poiesis', which has as its temporal 'telos' its own existence as the origin of art itself Department (if not found in thesis, you can search online to try and find it

Reconstruction and extension of school Slezská Ostrava

Import 04/07/2011Předmětem této bakalářské práce bylo navrhnout přístavbu základní pomocné školy, která se touto úpravou změní na dvoustupňovou základní školu s tělocvičnou, situovanou na parcelách č. 1530/8, 1530/9 v katastrálním území Slezská Ostrava. Nové vyuţití objektu bude jako základní dvoustupňová škola s volnočasovým centrem, obsahující přednáškovou místnost, místnost pro volnočasové aktivity, tělocvičnu. Obsahem této práce bude stavebně technické řešení stavebního objektu č.1 a č.2. Tato bakalářská práce je rozdělena do několika částí. Textová část obsahuje průvodní a souhrnnou technickou zprávu, a dále architektonické a stavebně technické řešení. Samostatnou přílohu tvoří výkresová část. Součástí výkresové části jsou výpisy plastových, hliníkových, truhlářských, zámečnických a klempířských výrobků .The subject of this thesis was to design a basic extension of the special school that this adjustment will change the basic two-tier school with a gymnasium, situated on parcels c. 1530/8 1530/9 in the cadastral area of Silesian Ostrava. The new building will use a basic two-tier school with a leisure center, including lecture room, leisure room, gym. The content of this work, structural engineering solutions to the building No.1 and No.2. This thesis is divided into several parts. Text section contains the summary and the accompanying technical report, as well as architectural and engineering solutions. A separate annex forms part of the drawing. Analysis of Market with Sport Supplement in the Czech Republic

Import 11/07/2012Téma mé bakalářské práce je Analýza trhu se sportovními suplementy v České republice. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části. První část je teoretická a slouží k vymezení pojmů, vztahujících se k problematice. Druhá, praktická část zahrnuje výzkumné šetření trhu se sportovními suplementy pomoci dotazníku,SWOT analýzy a rozhovor s majitelem a provozovatelem e-shopu se suplementy. Cílem mé bakalářské práce je analyzovat trh se sportovními suplementy v České Republice a následně vytipovat produkty, o které je na trhu největší zájem. Z výzkumu vyplynuly tři produkty ve vybraných kategoriích a graficky byly znázorněny faktory nejvíce ovlivňující kupce suplementů. Následně byly provedeny SWOT analýzy vybraných produktů.My thesis topic was analysis of market with sport supplements in the Czech Republic. My work is divided into two parts. First one is theoretical and it is used to describe terms related to the issue. Second part, practical, includes research investigation of the market with sport supplements using questionnaire, SWOT analysis and interview with owner and operator of e-shop with sport supplements. The aim of my thesis is to analyze the market with sport supplements and then choose those products that are most wanted on the market in Czech Republic. From research investigation as results there are three products from different categories, there are graphically visualized factors that were mostly influencing customers of supplements. Detection of circulating tumour DNA is associated with inferior outcomes in Ewing sarcoma and osteosarcoma: a report from the Children's Oncology Group.

BackgroundNew prognostic markers are needed to identify patients with Ewing sarcoma (EWS) and osteosarcoma unlikely to benefit from standard therapy. We describe the incidence and association with outcome of circulating tumour DNA (ctDNA) using next-generation sequencing (NGS) assays.MethodsA NGS hybrid capture assay and an ultra-low-pass whole-genome sequencing assay were used to detect ctDNA in banked plasma from patients with EWS and osteosarcoma, respectively. Patients were coded as positive or negative for ctDNA and tested for association with clinical features and outcome.ResultsThe analytic cohort included 94 patients with EWS (82% from initial diagnosis) and 72 patients with primary localised osteosarcoma (100% from initial diagnosis). ctDNA was detectable in 53% and 57% of newly diagnosed patients with EWS and osteosarcoma, respectively. Among patients with newly diagnosed localised EWS, detectable ctDNA was associated with inferior 3-year event-free survival (48.6% vs. 82.1%; p = 0.006) and overall survival (79.8% vs. 92.6%; p = 0.01). In both EWS and osteosarcoma, risk of event and death increased with ctDNA levels.ConclusionsNGS assays agnostic of primary tumour sequencing results detect ctDNA in half of the plasma samples from patients with newly diagnosed EWS and osteosarcoma. Zároveň je celkově řešena obec Bílá voda, v jejímž území se navrhovaný objekt nachází. Objekt je navrhován v rámci zachování paměti místa zdejší mimořádně kulturně a přírodně hodnotné krajiny. Celá farma je řešena takovým způsobem, aby byla plně soběstačná a nezávislá na dnešních potřebách energií. Jedná se o typický model zdejšího hospodaření, který již převážně vymizel, tento model je doplněný agroturistický suplement. Respektuje všechny současné potřeby obyvatel , a také současné technologie. Zároveň respektuje tradici, obraz místa a materiálovost. Při návrhu bylo reagováno na svažitost terénu, výhledy a okolní lesy, tyto aspekty určitým způsobem formujou navrhovaný objekt.The subject of this thesis is to design an autonomous agricultural isolated farmhouse in the mountain landscape. It is a total solution municipality White Water, in whose territory the proposed facility is located. The building is designed in keeping with the local memory space extremely valuable cultural and natural landscape. The whole farm is designed in such a way as to be fully self-sufficient and independent of the needs of today's energy. This is a typical model of the local economy, which has largely disappeared, this model is supplemented agrotourism supplement. Respects all the current needs of the population, and current technology. At the same time respecting tradition, the image space and materiálovost.
