[EN] For topological spaces X and Y, let Qp(X,Y) be the space of all quasicontinuous functions from X to Y with the topology of pointwise convergence. In this paper, we study the cardinal invariants such as cellularity, character, weight, density, pseudocharacter and spread of the space Qp(X,Y). We also discuss the properties of the restriction and induced maps related to the space Qp(X,Y).The first author acknowledges the fellowship grant of University Grant Commission, India with Student-ID DEC18-414765.Kumar, M.; Tyagi, BK. Comparative study of voice print Based acoustic features: MFCC and LPCC

Voice is the best biometric feature for investigation and authentication. It has both biological and behavioural features. The acoustic features are related to the voice. The Speaker Recognition System is designed for the automatic authentication of speaker's identity which is truly based on the human's voice. Mel Frequency Cepstrum coefficient (MFCC) and Linear Prediction Cepstrum coefficient (LPCC) are taken in use for feature extraction from the provided voice sample. This paper provides a comparative study of MFCC and LPCC based on the accuracy of results and their working methodology. The results are better if MFCC is used for feature extraction

AbstractThe present study aims to survey and identify the mosquito vector distribution throughout the Bharathidasan University Campus, Tiruchirappalli district, Tamil Nadu, India. Mosquito larvae were collected during October 2012–December 2012 from different breeding habitats. The survey revealed the presence of Aedes sp., Anopheles sp. and Culex sp. mosquito larvae. Among them Culex is dominant, in particularly Culex pipiens followed by Culex quinquifasciatus. Totally 41 actinobacterial isolates were isolated from soil and screened for the production of larvicidal metabolites against the 3rd instar Culex larvae. The obtained data exhibited that the isolated metabolites have lethal effects. Five isolates have shown a most significant mortality rate of the Culex mosquito larvae. In the biolarvicidal assay 1000ppm concentration of the isolate KA13-3 showed 100% mortality and KA25-A showed 90% mortality after 24h of incubation

A Novel DWT-CT approach in Digital Watermarking using PSO

The importance of watermarking is dramatically enhanced due to the promising technologies like Internet of Things (IoT), Data analysis, and automation of identification in many sectors. Due to these reasons, systems are inter-connected through networking and internet and huge amounts of information is generated, distributed and transmitted over the World Wide Web. Thus authentication of the information is a challenging task. The algorithm developed for the watermarking needs to be robust against various attack such as salt & peppers, filtering, compression and cropping etc. This paper focuses on the robustness of the algorithm by using a hybrid approach of two transforms such as Contourlet, Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT). Also, the Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) is used to optimize the embedding strength factor. The proposed digital watermarking algorithm has been tested against common types of image attacks. Experiment results for the proposed algorithm gives better performance by using similarity metrics such as NCC (Normalized Cross Correlation value) and PSNR (Peak Signal to Noise Ratio)

An Improved Iris Recognition System with Template Security using CT and SVD

The Iris biometric system is the most prominent method for identification of individual. Many researchers have been presented iris recognition methods from decade but a fully suitable solution for real world scenario is not implemented yet. The two major issues are responsible for it. First is no accurate method to operate on non-ideal iris images with high recognition rate. Second one is deployment of system with high security on the existing real world situations. In this Paper, the above mentioned problems are solved to an extent. An accurate and secured iris template encoding method is used for generate highly secured encoded binary pattern for iris template. Contourlet transform and Singular Value decomposition is used for this purpose. Beside this security feature, the proposed method used best combinations of algorithm for provide high accuracy as compared to conventional system of iris recognition. In Our approach IIT Delhi iris database is used as input image. Iris region from eye image is extracted by canny edge detection and Hough transforms to achieve high recognition rate. Daugman’s rubber sheet model is used for normalization. Security for normalized template is provided by Contourlet transform and Singular Value Decomposition. At last stage the combination of Hamming Distance and Normalized Correlation coefficient is used to achieve high recognition rate. So at each stage of iris recognition system all methods and algorithms are performed very well and provide higher accuracy as compared to existing iris recognition system

A Novel Approach for Workflow Scheduling in Hybrid Cloud with Dynamic Datacenter

Work process is used to speak to variety of use which requires huge data figuring and limit. To vanquish this need of data computation and limit dispersed processing has created as one of the best responses for on asks for resource provider. Nevertheless, on occasion the benefits open to us may not be satisfactory, so the need develops to gather more sources from various fogs. This is done by using the Hybrid cloud. Half and half cloud is mix of open and private cloud. The private cloud is guaranteed by the customer consequently there are no extra charges for using the benefits available in it, however open cloud is controlled by others so we have to pay for the using the advantage as indicated by the businesses. The USAge of the cream cloud offers adaptability to the customer. While using the half breed cloud, two most basic inquiries rises. The first is the best approach to segment the work procedure. In addition, the second one is the thing that benefit we need to get from individuals as a rule cloud so it can meet our essential inside the foreordained due date. The changed booking organization work handle for hybrid cloud give the less make span for the DAG than the main figuring and give us the best resources that we need to secure from open cloud to have enough planning vitality to arrange the work procedure inside given due date. We have gone through with two different approaches after scheduling has been performed to check the successful transaction between dynamic and static data center. We contemplated a hybrid approach which will reduce the complexity of the network but at the same time it also perform successful transaction between dynamic datacenters .Each time the transaction has been performed between different centers or clusters the consequences are successful

QSAR Rationales for the 5-HT 2A Receptor Antagonistic Activity of 2-Alkyl-4- aryl-Pyrimidine Fused Heterocycles

ABSTRACT The 5-HT 2A receptor binding affinities of the 2-alkyl-4-aryl-pyrimidine fused heterocycles have been quantitatively expressed in terms of topological and molecular features. The analysis revealed that less number of rotatable bonds (descriptor RBN), a more hydrophobic nature (descriptor MLOGP) and less polar surface area (descriptor PSA) in a molecular structure will be favorable to the binding affinity. A lower positive values of descriptors PW4 (path/walk 4 -Randic shape index) and MATS2m (Moran autocorrelation -lag 2/weighted by atomic masses) and higher value of descriptor MATS1v (Moran autocorrelation -lag 1/weighted by atomic van der Waals volumes) will augment the activity. Additionally, a lower value of descriptor BEHm1 (highest eigenvalue n. 1 of Burden matrix/weighted by atomic masses), higher value of descriptor BEHp1 (highest eigenvalue n. 1 of Burden matrix / weighted by atomic polarizabilities) and a higher value of 7 th order charge index (GGI7) will be beneficiary to the activity. The derived models and participating descriptors in them have suggested that the substituents of 2-alkyl-4-aryl-pyrimidine fused heterocycles have sufficient scope for further modification
