Fungal population and diversity in organically amended agricultural soils of Meghalaya, India

The effect of different organic fertilisers (farm yard manure [FYM]; vermicompost [VC]; plant compost [PC] and integrated compost [INT], i.e. a combination of FYM, VC and PC in a 1:1:1 ratio) on the population and diversity of soil fungi was investigated in a maize-French bean trial. Fungal populations were much higher in organically fertilised plots as compared to the control (CTRL) and showed a decreasing trend in the order FYM>PC>INT>VC>CTRL. Altogether, 122 fungal species and two sterile mycelia were isolated from all the plots of which 25 fungal genera belonged to Deuteromycotina, seven to Ascomycotina, four to Zygomycotina and one to Mastigomycotina. The most common genera isolated from all the plots include Penicillium, Aspergillus, Acremonium, Fusarium, Mortierella, Mucor, Paecilomyces, Talaromyces, Trichoderma and Verticillium. Significant positive correlations between fungal populations and Corg were observed in all the organic amended plots. The organic matter level in the organically managed soil systems can play a pivotal role in fungal growth, sporulation and diversity

Refusal Strategies Performed by Speakers of Different Ages

This pragmatic research was conducted to identify and classify the refusal strategies performed by two groups of speakers of different ages. It was also conducted to investigate the differences and similarities in the strategies. The first group consisted of 20 speakers aged 17-27 years old and the second group consisted of 20 speakers aged 40-50 years old. There were 240 refusals performed as the data of this research which were classified according to the classification proposed by Felix-Bradesfer (2008). This research foundthat there were 9 direct refusals, 45 indirect refusals, and 66 adjuncts to refusals performed by the younger speakers. There were 7 direct refusals, 49 indirect refusals, and 64 adjuncts to refusals that were performed by the older speakers. This research also found that there were more similarities than differences on the refusal performed by the two groups

PENGARUH KOMPETENSI DAN PERENCANAAN SDM TERHADAP KINERJA PEGAWAI PADA BADAN KEUANGAN DAN ASSET DAERAH KABUPATEN ENREKANG

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi dan perencanaan SDM terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Badan Keuangan dan Asset Daerah Kabupaten Enrekang. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh pegawai di Badan Keuangan dan Asset Daerah Kabupaten Enrekang dan sampelnya sebanyak 62 responden. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode survei berupa kuesioner. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan variabel Kompetensi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, dilihat pada nilai t hitung 5,615 > nilai t tabel 2,001 dan nilai signifikan 0,000 < 0,05. Pada variabel Perencanaan SDM bepengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, dilihat pada nilai t hitung 6,732 > nilai t tabel 2,001 dan nilai signifikan 0,000 < 0,05. Adapun secara simultan Kompetensi dan Perencanaan SDM berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, dilihat pada nilai f hitung 22,481 > nilai f tabel 3,15 dan nilai signifikan 0,000 < 0,05. Optimasi Penjadwalan Shift Perawat Menggunakan Metode Integer Linear Programming

Masalah penjadwalan shift perawat sering terjadi karena penjadwalan dilakukan secara manual oleh pihak rumah sakit. Penjadwalan shift perawat secara manual umumnya kurang efektif dan efisien karena tidak metode tertentu digunakan dalam penyusunan tersebut sehingga menjadi optimal. Untuk mengoptimalkan masalah penjadwalan shift perawat, penelitian ini mengunakan metode integer linear programming dengan meminimalkan total deviasi (penyimpangan) hari kerja setiap perawat. Metode tersebut sudah mempertimbangkan kebutuhan jumlah perawat, shift malam dan kebutuhan day off setiap perawat dan kemudian diproses menggunakan perangkat lunak Lingo 11.0

Isolation and Identification of Endophytic Fungi Associated with Solanum tuberosum L. of South-West Garo Hills, Meghalaya

 A study was conducted for two years to isolate the fungal endophytes from different parts of Solanum tuberosum L.(potato) such as leaves, stem, roots and tubers grown in South West Garo Hills district of Meghalaya.44 endophytic fungal were isolated including the major phytopathogens of potato such as Alternaria solani, Fusarium solani, Rhizoctonia solani and Sclerotium rolfsii.Out of the total isolates the genus Penicillium recorded the maximum number of species with a total of 13 species followed by Fusarium with a total of 5 species.The fungal endophytes Acremonium cereale, Cladosporium cladosporioides and Nectria ventricosa have been isolated from all the parts of the potato plant throughout the planting season for two years

Adapun tujuan penulisan skripsi ini, adalah: Untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pengaruh pembinaan warga jemaat terhadap pertumbuhan kerohanian jemaat GKII Long Pua. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian maka penulis menyimpukan bahwa: Pertama, Bentuk- bentuk pelayanan yang dilakukan dalam membina pertumbuhan kerohanian jemaat Gereja Kemah Injil Indonesia Long Pua adalah melalui pelayanan: (1) Konseling, (2) Bimbingan (3) PengajaranAlkitab, (4) Perkunjungan.
