    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap konsep filosofis Hredaya Kamala Madya dalam Kakawin Siwaratri Kalpa dan bagaimana konsep tersebut diintegrasikan dalam penciptaan tari berjudul Kamala Madya di Desa Tanjung Benoa, Bali. Melalui metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan analisis deskriptif, penelitian ini memanfaatkan wawancara mendalam dengan Ida Bagus Wiryanatha, seorang pakar sastra kakawin, untuk merumuskan cerita dan nilai-nilai penting dalam Kakawin Siwaratri Kalpa, termasuk konsep Hredaya Kamala Madya. Analisis juga dilakukan pada video rekaman karya tari Kamala Madya untuk mengungkap bagaimana konsep tersebut terwujud dalam gerakan, musik, kostum, dan elemen penting tari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsep filosofis Hredaya Kamala Madya melambangkan abstraksi bunga teratai di hati manusia, merepresentasikan penyucian batin sebagai langkah penting menuju kedamaian hati. Penelitian ini mengungkap inspirasi yang mendasari penciptaan Tari Kamala Madya dan memperkaya nilai artistik melalui simbolisme filosofis dalam elemen artistik seperti gerak tari, musik, tata rias dan busana serta property utama tarian berupa kipas. Penelitian ini diharapkan mampu memberikan wawasan mendalam terhadap pemahaman Tari Kamala Madya khususnya dalam usaha memberdayakan masyarakat Desa Tanjung Benoa sebagai destinasi pariwisata pasca Covid-19. Kata kunci: Hredaya Kamala Madya, Kakawin Siwaratri Kalpa, Inspirasi, Penciptaan Tari, Tari Kamala Madya

    Kamala is a one among the Rakta Pradoshaja Vikara, where there is aversion towards all desires. Two types of Kamala are mentioned in Ayurvedic classics viz Kostashakhashrita Kamala and Shakhashrita Kamala. Kostashakhashrita Kamala in its definition includes the condition which is mentioned as viral hepatitis in western system of medicine. The treatment modalities described in Ayurveda for Kostashakhashrita Kamala include both Shodhana and Shamana. This study is an attempt to evaluate the efficacy of Nimba, Amrita, Bhumyamalaki, Bhringaraja and Katuki (NABBK) Kashaya and compare its efficacy with that of Nimba, Amrita, Bhumyamalaki, Bhringaraja (NABB) Swarasa with Katuki Churna in Kostashakhashrita Kamala vis-à-vis Viral Hepatitis. Overall difference between two groups showed statistically non-significant result with ‘p’ value 0.953

    The incidence of Kamala is very common due to life style, food habits and sanitation (water pollution and contaminated food) etc. as there is no conventional therapy available in modern sciences, so people are having affinity towards Ayurveda. This makes it necessary to work out in this issue, by providing safe effective and affordable treatment. Ayurveda provides cure of the disease on the basis of proper flow of Pittadosha in Koshtha in case of Shakhashrit kamala. Pittashamak, Yakrut uttejak, Yakrut shodhana to normal flow of bile from liver in case of Bahupitta kamala. Hyperbilirubinaemia is a condition where there is yellow appearance of skin, sclera and mucous membrane resulting from an increase bilirubin concentration in the body fluids, mostly explained as jaundice which resemble the sign “Haridratwakanakhannana, Haridra-Netra-mutra ”explained in the Kamala in Charak chikitsa sthana (16/35and126). The present study was planned to evaluate the effect of Vasadi kashaya on Kamala w. s. r. to Hyperbilirubinemia. Total 30 patients attending the OPD and IPD of R. A. Podar Ayurvedic Hospital Mumbai were randomly selected. After classical formulation Vasadi Kashaya was given for 3 weeks to these patients.     Kamala is a Pittajananatmaja and Raktapradoshaja Vyadhi, where the skin, eye and mucous membrane take yellowish discoloration. It can be correlated with jaundice according to its resemblance in signs and symptoms. Shakhasrita Kamala is considered as Rudhapada Kamala or Vatakapha Pradhana. The line of management adopted in this condition is Kaphahara Chikitsa and Shamanaushadi thus removing the Margavarana. This can be correlated to prehepatic jaundice, which arises from the blood before enters the liver. This can be understood by assessing the blood investigation and other imaging studies.     The scientific taxonomy of disease make easy to study, recognition of etiology, diagnosis and planning of treatment of any ailment. The traditional cataloging of diseases have been described in traditional system of medicine is very scientific as well as practical also. Like classification of other ailment, Kamala has been classified basically in various groups like Koshthashrita (haemolytic jaundice) & Shakhashrita (hepato-cellular jaundice), Swatantra (independent) and Partantra (manifest as a complication of another disease), Bahupitta (due to excess generation of bilirubin) and Alpapitta (due to retention of bilirubin). But in this article, the elaborated taxonomy of Kamala is described on the behalf of four types of Samprapti i.e. Vidhi, Vikalpa, Pradhanya and Bala which have great importance in diagnosis and management of Kamala ailment. Everyone knows that abolition of etiology and cleavage of pathological chain of ailment is the steady and complete healing of disease. The treatment protocol of Kamala is entirely based on this theory. There are two segment of treatment of Kamala, first is nonspecific which is common and applicable for all kinds of Kamala and second is specific treatment which is explicit for definite types of Kamala. In Ayurvedic pharmacology, the mode action of drugs and how to cleavage the pathogenesis of ailment is not described but here it is illustrated very clearly and in a mannered way. The Navayas lauha churna has three groups of herbal drugs i.e. Trimada, Trikatu and Triphala and one group of Lauha bhasma.     Background: Jaundice (Kamala) is a yellowish pigmentation of the skin, the conjunctival membranes over the sclera (whitish of the eyes), and other mucous membranes caused by hyperbilirubinemia (increased levels of bilirubin in the blood). Today’s lifestyle with unhygienic and poor dietary habits and alcoholic habits etc. are responsible factors to promote hepatic damage which clinically reflects as Kamala Roga. The incidence of such causes resulting in Jaundice. In India it is 2.37-3.15 per 1000 population. The effect of Ayurvedic treatment was assessed in relation to improvement in overall clinical signs and symptoms. Objectives: To evaluate the effect of Phalatrikaadi Kwatha and Darvyadi Kwatha in Kamala Roga. Methodology: A comparative clinical study was conducted on Kamala for period of 15 days. The patients were divided into 2 groups. In Group A 20 patients were administered with Phalatrikadi Kwatha internally and in Group B 20 patients were administered with Darvyadi Kwatha internally. Results: Group A and Group B have shown statistically significant result. Group B treated with Darvyadi Kwatha showed better result compared with Group B treated with Phalatrikadi Kwatha
