    Relasi Sosial dan Resiliensi Komunitas Petani Korban Erupsi Gunung Berapi di Kawasan Relokasi

    Volcanic eruption victims to be relocated deal with two sequential shaking conditions, namely when a volcano erupts and when the community is relocated. This paper reviews the literatures on social relations and community resilience to the natural disasters, especially volcanoes, as well as how the relocation policy is implemented for farmer community victims. The ability of the community to rise from adversity due to natural disasters and to deal with challenges of a new life in the relocation area is determined by  existing resources and their adaptive capacity. The more various the resources and the stronger the adaptive the community, the community will be more resilient. Social relations will further accelerate community resilience. Relocation is expected to improve the community’s life, but in fact in several places it raises new problems. Some considerations are needed for relocation such as location, natural and social environment, and social ties in the community. It is essential to design an efficient, effective policy to deal with natural disasters which includes sustainable livelihood and social systems. AbstrakKomunitas korban erupsi gunung berapi yang direlokasi dihadapkan pada dua kondisi goncangan yang berurutan, yakni pada saat terjadinya erupsi dan saat komunitas tersebut direlokasi. Tulisan ini mengulas sejumlah literatur yang terkait dengan relasi sosial, resiliensi komunitas terhadap bencana alam yang mereka hadapi, khususnya gunung berapi. Ulasan juga mencakup bagaimana kebijakan relokasi yang diterapkan bagi komunitas petani korban bencana alam. Kemampuan komunitas untuk bangkit dari keterpurukan akibat bencana alam dan untuk menghadapi tantangan kehidupan yang baru di kawasan relokasi ditentukan oleh kekuatan sumber daya dan kapasitas adaptif yang dimiliki oleh komunitas. Semakin bervariasi sumber daya dan semakin kuat kapasitas adaptif yang dimiliki oleh komunitas maka menentukan sejauh mana resiliensi komunitas itu berlangsung. Relasi sosial dalam bentuknya yang asosiatif semakin mempercepat terjadinya resiliensi komunitas. Relokasi yang diharapkan mampu memperbaiki kehidupan komunitas dengan menjauhkannya dari ancaman bencana yang akan datang, justru di beberapa tempat menimbulkan persoalan. Diperlukan pertimbangan dalam pelaksanaan relokasi seperti lokasi, lingkungan alam dan sosial, dan juga ikatan sosial dalam komunitas. Perlu dirumuskan kebijakan yang efektif dan efisien untuk penanggulangan dampak bencana alam yang meliputi sistem penghidupan dan sistem sosial secara berkelanjutan

    The objective of this research is to understand how street children build their survival of strategy to continue their living. The method used for the research is survey method conducted in Bogor city of West Java. The study reveals that three forms of survival of strategies are usually built by street children. They range from simple form, middle form up to complex form. The forms of survival of strategy are strongly related to a number of factors, namely: age, sex, education level, and the reason why the children turn on the street (socio-psychological characteristic of street children). This research found some interesting findings that could provide a useful basis for formulating empowerment program targeting to street children. The findings can help increase the accuracy of empowerment program, since it can reduce incorrect assumption when the program is to be run

    Analysis Characteristic and Motivator Factor of Generation Y Employee in PT. BANK KIT

    PT. BANK KIT is one of the state-owned enterprises biggest assets in Indonesia. The achievement was supported by all workers which is growing significantly in the last five years, until now the number has exceeded 120 thousand people. The number of workers is dominated by Generation  Y with an age range of 20 – 35 years old. On this approach, the emphasis is on increasing the productivity of human resources, especially Generation  Y workers because besides the amount that dominates, is also a top management candidates within a periode of 5 – 10 years to come. Literature study introduce Generation  Y  as a generation with an a high average level of education and has great potential, but they require special treatment in motivation. This research aims to identify the characteristics of Generation  Y  workers in BANK KIT and the factors that influence the motivation at work. This research used focus group discussion/FGD  approach to understand Generation  Y. Theme produced in FGD confirmed by confirmatory factor analysis. Study results showed that the factors that have the greatest influence on the motivation of Generation  Y in BANK KIT is worklife balance and the factors that have lowest influence is responsibility and authority.     The Influence of Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment on Turnover Intentions Hospital Nurses

    Nurses are human resources with the most significant number of all human resources in hospitals and a component that influences the quality of hospital services. Health services can be adequately provided if human resources such as nurses are met in quality and quantity. Currently, a private hospital in Bogor district still needs help completing the number of nurses requirement. Highly turnover rate of nurses occurred in the period 2020 to 2022. This study aims to analyze the influence of job satisfaction and organizational commitment on nurses' turnover intentions. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire and interviews. This study uses the census method, the nurses who will be respondents are all nurses with a minimum working period of six months totaling 119 nurses. The analytical method used in this study is Structural Equation Model (SEM) using the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach. The results of this study indicate that job satisfaction has a positive and nonsignificant influence on turnover intentions; it means that job satisfaction is relatively high but cannot reduce the desire of nurses to leave. At the same time, organizational commitment negatively and significantly influences turnover intentions. Simultaneous test results greatly influence job satisfaction and corporate loyalty on turnover intentions. To keep the work situation conducive, hospital management can maintain and even improve the policies that have been implemented so far, namely policies that are increasingly profitable for nurses, one of which is performance appraisal for nurse members.     Model Komunikasi Untuk Membangun Kapasitas Kewirausahaan dan Kesiapan Perubahan Pedagang Pasar Tradisional

    Berangkat dari kondisi rendahnya kapasitas kewirausahaan dan ketidaksiapan pedagang pasar tradisional menghadapi persaingan dari peritel modern, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merumuskan model komunikasi untuk membangun kesiapan perubahan pedagang pasar tradisional. Metode yang digunakan adalah survey dengan mewawancarai 559 pedagang pasar tradisional menggunakan instrumen kuesioner. Hasilnya dianalisis dengan menggunakan pendekatan kausalitas dengan alat bantu LISREL dan diperkuat dengan hasil dari wawancara mendalam. Hasilnya diperoleh gambaran bahwa dalam menghadapi revitalisasi, pedagang berada dalam situasi ketidakpastian. Seluruh unsur mulai dari karakteristik pedagang, sumber pesan, pesan, dan komunikasi partisipatif memberikan dampak positif terhadap kesiapan pedagang terkait dengan revitalisasi dengan kondisi kapasitas kewirausahaan pedagang tinggi. Karenanya, untuk membangun kesiapan pedagang, hal utama yang perlu dilakukan adalah membangun kapasitas kewirausahaan pedagang. Kekurangberhasilan membangun kapasitas kewirausahaan berdampak ketidaksiapan pedagang untuk berubah. Model komunikasi yang dinilai tepat adalah melibatkan pengelola pasar sebagai sumber pesan yang kredibel, dengan muatan pesan tentang manfaat dan risiko revitalisasi ternyata efektif bila melalui pengembangan motivasi pedagang untuk berubah, dan media yang memungkinkan terjadi tanggapan langsung dari pelaku komunikasi.

    The Impact of Management Development Program to Employees’ Job Perfomances of a Telecommunication Company in Indonesia

    This research had been conducted to explore the relation beetween Management Development Program and employees’ job perfomances at a telecommunication company in Indonesia. The job perfomances being analysed consist of employees’ ability and motivation as well as working environment. Both primary and secondary data had been utilized. Primary data was collected based on Individual Depth Interview among training participants and training providers, whereas secondary data had been collected based on available information concerning training reports, company profile, employees perfomances after undertaking the program etc. The secondary data was analysed by using Structural Equation Modeling. The research concluded that there was no significant impact of Management Development Program to employees’ job perfomances. Initial observation suggested that the focus of the Management Development program being conducted was not in line with goals of the company.     Pengaruh Program Pelatihan dan Kohesivitas Terhadap Kinerja Pengajar di Lembaga Pendidikan XYZ

    The training program is an effort to improve performance. Excellent performance requires good cooperation from every employee. This study aims to investigate the effect of training programs and cohesiveness on teacher performance. This study used descriptive analysis and quantitative data. Data were processed using the structural equation model (SEM) based on partial least square (PLS) estimation. The study used questionnaires to collect data. The results show the training program significantly influenced the level of cohesiveness of the teacher. Furthermore, training programs significantly influenced teacher performance. The formation of teacher performance variables was influenced by the teacher’s social relation dimension. Hence, cohesiveness significantly affected teacher performance.     Pengaruh Budaya Organisasi dan Kohesivitas Kelompok Terhadap Kepuasan Kerja Karyawan di PT Bank BNI Syariah

    PT Bank BNI Syariah, in achieving its targets and the company goals, it required qualified human resources (HR), which were capable of synergizing among fellow employees. This study was analyzing the influence of organizational culture and group cohesiveness on employee job satisfaction. A quantitative approach and purposive sampling technique was used to interview respondents. The Data were analyzed by Partial Least Square (PLS). The results of PLS analysis showed that applying organizational culture and increasing group cohesiveness could increase job satisfaction. Organizational culture had a significant positive effect on job satisfaction. In this case, organizational culture played an important role in increasing job satisfaction. Since employees who were able to understand and apply organizational culture in a good manner will deliver job satisfaction. Organizational cultural value guided employees to behave so that its application influenced employee behavior that leads to the creation of job satisfaction. Group cohesiveness had a significant positive effect on job satisfaction. It affected employee job satisfaction; the higher group cohesiveness gave better job satisfaction. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling untuk memilih responden. Data dianalisis dengan bantuan Partial Least Square (PLS). Hasil analisis PLS menunjukkan bahwa menerapkan budaya organisasi dan meningkatkan keterpaduan kelompok dapat meningkatkan kepuasan kerja. Budaya organisasi berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja. Dalam hal ini, budaya organisasi memainkan peran penting dalam meningkatkan kepuasan kerja karena karyawan yang mampu memahami dan menerapkan budaya organisasi dengan baik akan memberikan kepuasan kerja. Nilai budaya organisasi memandu karyawan dalam berperilaku, sehingga penerapannya akan memengaruhi perilaku karyawan yang mengarah pada terciptanya kepuasan kerja. Keterpaduan kelompok memiliki pengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja. Ini akan mempengaruhi kepuasan kerja karyawan; semakin tinggi keterpaduan kelompok, semakin baik kepuasan kerja karyawan.     House of Balikpapan Creative (RKB) is a small and medium industry that has been developed and focuses on hand made batik and recycle handicraft. This small industry involves local community that consists of disability people and housewife. The existence of RKB is formed by oil and gas company contribution to local community in their operations area through Corporate Social Responsibility program. Current condition of RKB needs development strategy systematically. This research is aimed toreview the current state of business, to review the performance and to formalize the business development strategy of RKB in an attempt to increase the independence and sustainability of the business. Data collection was done through observation; interviewand focus group discussion as well as disseminating a questionnaire to 30 respondents, which used RKB products. The data is analyzed descriptively where as IPA analyzes performance review. Internal Factor Evaluation Matrix, External Factor Evaluation Matrix, Internal External Matrix, Strength, Weakness, Opportunities and Threats (SWOT) Matrix Analysis along with Quantitative Strategy Planning Matrix (QSPM) analyze strategy development. Outcome mapping performance and consumer interests described the RKB need to allocate adequate resources for improving the performance of the product in terms of price, speed orders, precision workers and handling complaints and media promotion. Based on the SWOT and QSPM analysis, the most major strategic priorities which need to be implemented are organizational restructuring and management system, increase promotion, partnering with banking institutions, sets the market price strategy to confront the competition, improve the quality of service to customers
