Orchestrating the spatial planning process: from Business Process Management to 2nd generation Planning Support Systems
Metaplanning can be considered as a necessary step for improving collaboration, transparency and accountability in sustainable and democratic spatial decision-making process. This paper reports current findings on the operational implementation of the metaplanning concept developed by the authors relying on Business Process Management methods and techniques. Two solutions are presented which implement spatial planning process workflows thanks to the development of original spatial data and processing services connectors to a Business Process Management suite. These results can be considered as a first step towards the development of 2nd generation Planning Support Systems
Convergent series for lattice models with polynomial interactions
The standard perturbative weak-coupling expansions in lattice models are
asymptotic. The reason for this is hidden in the incorrect interchange of the
summation and integration. However, substituting the Gaussian initial
approximation of the perturbative expansions by a certain interacting model or
regularizing original lattice integrals, one can construct desired convergent
series. In this paper we develop methods, which are based on the joint and
separate utilization of the regularization and new initial approximation. We
prove, that the convergent series exist and can be expressed as the re-summed
standard perturbation theory for any model on the finite lattice with the
polynomial interaction of even degree. We discuss properties of such series and
make them applicable to practical computations. The workability of the methods
is demonstrated on the example of the lattice -model. We calculate the
operator using the convergent series, the comparison
of the results with the Borel re-summation and Monte Carlo simulations shows a
good agreement between all these methods.Comment: 25 pages, 14 figure
A Super-Flag Landau Model
We consider the quantum mechanics of a particle on the coset superspace
, which is a super-flag manifold with
`body'. By incorporating the Wess-Zumino terms associated
with the stability group, we obtain an exactly solvable
super-generalization of the Landau model for a charged particle on the sphere.
We solve this model using the factorization method. Remarkably, the physical
Hilbert space is finite-dimensional because the number of admissible Landau
levels is bounded by a combination of the U(1) charges. The level saturating
the bound has a wavefunction in a shortened, degenerate, irrep of
