Today is the era of modernization and fast life. Everybody is busy and living stressful life changing of life style of modern human being has created several disharmonie. In his biological system. Advancement of busy, professional and social life, improper sitting posture in offices, continuous work in one posture and over exertion, jerking movements during travelling and sports - all these factors create undue pressure and stress injury to the spine and play an important role in producing disease like cervical spondylosis. Agnikarma is said to be the most superior among all the Anushastra Karma. Agnikarma is superior to Ksharakarma as disease burnt with Agni will never recur. Disease that cannot be cured with medicines, Kshara and Surgery, can be cured with Agnikarma

Objective: Mefenamic acid (MFA) is an NSAID that exhibits anti-inflammatory analgesic and antipyretic activity. Peak plasma levels are attained in 2-4 h and the elimination half-life approximates 2 h, repetitive administration of tablets for 3-5 times a day is desired. It is supplied only in the form of tablets for oral administration. In acute conditions drug administered parenterally could give rapid relief from severe symptoms like pain. Thus, formulation of injectable formulation of MFA could be better alternative compared to conventional tablet dosage form. The low aqueous solubility of MFA precludes its use in parenteral formulation development. Methods: In this work attempt were made to enhance the aqueous solubility of mefenamic acid using mixed solvency technique. For that different hydrotropic agents such as Urea, Sodium acetate, sodium benzoate, sodium citrate and their blends were evaluated. Optimal concentration of hydrotropic agent in blend was determined using D-optimal mixture experimental design. The optimized bled was used to develop the aqueous injection of mefenamic acid. The developed injection was subjected for various quality control tests and stability of developed formulation was also evaluated. Results: The aqueous solubility in optimized blend of hydrotropic agent batches (U: SA: SB: SC, 4:4:23:9 %w/v) showed 835.71-fold compared to MFA solubility in distilled water. The quality control tests for parenteral formulation and accelerated stability study were found to be within prescribed limits and stable. Conclusion: The inadequate solubility of MFA was overcome, and aqueous injection was successfully developed which can be serve as cost effective treatment in various indications

Haemato biochemical alterations in goats infected with coccidiosis

    Get PDF
Coccidiosis is an important disease which account for anaemia and associated problems like poor growth rate, suppressed resistance and high mortality in kids. While considering the various etiological factors resulting in anaemia among goats of Kerala, coccidiosis account for about 8 per cent, indicating the significance of adopting proper prevention and control measures against this disease. The present study reveals the severity and depth of anaemic changes induced by coccidia in goats. All the haematological parameters, serum biochemical parameters and serum levels of iron, copper and zinc of coccidiosis infected animals are evaluated statistically by comparing with healthy control animals

Change Detection for Higher Scale Rediscovery and BigNode Handling

Discovery is a process of collecting the configuration data from the network elements in any protocol like SNMP, REST, NetConf, SOAP, SSH etc. and processing the data to compute the logical network topology. And the topology is stored in the database in a normalized fashion. The discovery and topology computation is typically a multi-step process where the data collected from one step could decide what need to be collected. Once discovery of one node is completed the logical topology is persisted. As network continuously evolve or change due to changes to the nodes\u27 configuration, automatic re-discovery and recomputation of the logical topology becomes necessary to maintain accurate logical topology of the network. Thus it is fair to assert that the discovery/rediscovery is a continuous process leading to eventual consistency of the logical topology. Similarly for the discovered node, state of various aspects of the node need to be continuously monitored in real or near real time. In cases during the re-discovery when configuration data is collected from the devices, detecting what has changed between previous discovery to now is a challenge. Typically the process goes on to compute new topology and compare the old topology with the new topology and if there is a difference apply the difference and persist. If there is no difference between the topology nothing needs to be persisted. This means the entire topology compute process has to be done whether there is a change in the topology or not. There is no early indications whether something is changed or not. This disclosure suggests usage of hash meta data derived from the raw data collected to compare and detect the changes ahead so that costly computation of logical topology could be avoided if there are no change. Typically very less percentage of nodes in a network change in a daily basis and even within the node only less percentage of configuration change per day or across two discovery cycles. So, early detection of changes and avoiding computation if there is no change could help in a big way to scale the discovery of network. Similarly state polling happens at near real time, even here across two polling cycles very less percentage of states would change. Detecting early whether a change has happened or not can help in handling state change at scale. The scheme proposed in this invention can help address the polling needs to scale high as well

Public transport: a large scale fomite of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus

Background: The role of public transport as reservoirs of antibiotic-resistant staphylococci was determined. Methods: 200 swabs were collected from 50 public buses (urban and rural) circulating in Davangere, Karnataka. Swabs collected were inoculated on Blood agar, Mannitol salt agar and MacConkey agar plates. After incubation for 24-48 hours, plates were examined for the growth of Staphylococcus aureus. Anti-microbial susceptibility test was performed using oxacillin 1ug disc to detect methicillin resistance as per CSLI guidelines. Results: Out of 40 Staphylococcus aureus isolated 35 isolates were resistant to more than two classes of antibiotics, hence multidrug resistant Staphylococcus aureus. Out of 35 MDR isolates, 18 were resistant to oxacillin and cefoxitin. Minimum inhibitory concentration test revealed that out of 35 MDR isolates, 18 isolates had MIC value of ≥ 4µg/ml.Conclusions: The recovery methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus from public transport system implies a potential risk for transmission of these bacteria in community

Heavy Flavour Baryons in Hyper Central Model

Heavy flavor baryons containing single and double charm (beauty) quarks with light flavor combinations are studied using the hyper central description of the three-body problem. The confinement potential is assumed as hyper central coulomb plus power potential with power index υ\upsilon. The ground state masses of the heavy flavor, JP=1/2+J^P={1/2}^+ and 3/2+{3/2}^+ baryons are computed for different power index, ν \nu starting from 0.5 to 2.0. The predicted masses are found to attain a saturated value in each case of quark combinations beyond the power index ν=1.0\nu=1.0.Comment: 10 pages, 4 figure
