Analisis Kemelekan Sains (Science Literacy) Dan Kemelekan Inkuiri (Inquiry Literacy) Guru Mata Pelajaran IPA SMP
: Science literacy and inquiry literacy are two important aspects of life skills needed by both teachers and students in this globalization era. This research has been undertaken to analyzed science and inquiry literacy of high school science teachers in West Nusa Tenggara Provence. The research subjects consist of 25 teachers who joined the master degree in the Magister Study Program of Educational Sciences in the University of Mataram during academic year 2012/2013. The research has been designed as one group pretest-postest experiment. The teacher students have been trained for 4 times of lecturer classes which equal to 400 minutes. The results of this research shown that the average scores of science literacy and inquiry literacy of those student teachers can be categorized as low level (M ≤ 50%). The average scores of science literacy increased only 0,7 % and the inquiry literacy score increased about 5% after the training. Due to the important of these aspects in the context of science, therefore it is strongly recommended to constructs systematic and continuous efforts to help improve the teachers professional competences includes the science literacy and inquiry literacy
The development and initial performance analysis of REITs in Ireland
Purpose – The inception of REITs in Ireland in 2013 presented an additional property investment opportunity to Ireland’s commercial property investment landscape. Importantly, the Irish REIT market is an institutional apparatus with an objective to rejuvenate Ireland’s commercial property market. The purpose of this paper is to provide an empirical validation of the performance of Irish REITs over the period March 2015 to February 2019 across several investment measures such as risk-adjusted returns and diversification benefits. Design/methodology/approach – Using monthly total returns in local currency, the risk-adjusted performance and portfolio diversification attributes of Irish REITs are assessed. The mean-variance framework is utilised to assess the potential added-value benefits of Irish REITs in a mixed-asset portfolio. Findings – Irish REITs delivered the strongest average annual return performance, lower relative volatility vs the stock market and competitive overall risk-adjusted performance. The results affirm the characteristic of Irish REITs as a total return-focussed income-driven property investment asset class. The optimal asset allocation analysis shows that Irish REITs are an important ingredient in a mixed-asset investment framework, as their allocation could be scaled effectively across the portfolio risk-return spectrum. Practical implications – Irish REITs are an emerging investment opportunity for investors seeking exposure in the strongly performing property market in Ireland in the post-Global Financial Crisis period. They are also regarded as an effective alternative conduit to private investment routes (i.e. direct property and non-listed property funds), with the added advantage of being more liquid and versatile than their private property investment counterparts. Importantly, Irish REITs fulfilled the purpose for which they were originally designed. The promising initial performance observed in this paper gives a useful context to what the future might hold for Irish REITs, given the strong interest for commercial property assets in Ireland from both local and cross-border property investors. Originality/value – This paper is the first empirical research aimed at providing an initial empirical performance validation of Irish REITs as an effective route to commercial property exposure in Ireland. This research enables empirically validated, more informed and practical property investment decision making regarding the strategic role of Irish REITs in a portfolio
PENGARUH IMPLEMENTASI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS TANTANGAN TERHADAP PENGUASAAN KONSEP DAN KREATIVITAS ILMIAH SISWA KELAS XI SMAN 2 LABUAPI TAHUN AJARAN 2016/2017
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh implementasi model pembelajaran berbasis tantangan terhadap penguasaan konsep dan kreativitas ilmiah siswa kelas XI SMAN 2 Labuapi tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan pola eksperimen semu (quasy experiment) dengan desain Non Equivalent Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI SMAN 2 Labuapi, dengan populasi berjumlah 63 siswa yang tersebar dalam 3 kelas. Sampel kelas dipilih dengan teknikPurposive Sampling sehingga didapatkan kelas XI IPA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI IPA 2 sebagai kelas kontrol, dengan sampel berjumlah 43 siswa.Tes yang digunakan yaitu tes penguasaan konsep dalam bentuk tes pilihan ganda dan tes kreativitas ilmiah dalam bentuk tes essay. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwaàpenguasaan konsep dan kreativitas ilmiah siswa dengan model pembelajaran berbasis tantangan berbeda dengan yang tidak diberi perlakuan model pembelajaran berbasis tantangan. Dengan demikiandapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran berbasis tantangan secara signifikan berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan penguasaan konsep (t hitung= 6,19 >t tabel = 2,01) dan kreativitas ilmiah (t hitung= 7,76 >t tabel = 2,01).àKata kunci: model, pembelajaran, berbasis tantangan, penguasaan konsep, kreativitas ilmia
Efektivitas Multimedia Interaktif Berbasis Flash Dan Model 5e Untuk Meningkatkan Sikap Terhadap Sains Siswa SMP Negeri 6 Mataram
: The aim of this study was to know effectiveness and effect of flash based interactive multimedia (FBIM) and 5E model toward students attitudes toward science. Experimental research desain was pretest-postest non-equivalent control group and faktorial 2 x 2. The population consist of 196 students spread in 7 classes. These classes are grade VIII in SMPN6 Mataram. Sample was choosen by using simple random sampling, Sample of this reseacrh consist of 97 students spread in 4 classes are grade VIIIB applied 5E model without FBIM grade VIIIC applied 5E model and FBIM, grade VIIID applied 2EK model without FBIM, and grade VIIIE applied 2EK model and FBIM Result of experiment reseach shows that there are significant effect of FBIM (F = 100.96, p = 0.00) and 5E model (F = 65.46, p = 0.00) on attitudes toward science. There are significant effect of interaction between FBIM and 5E model (F = 13.05, p = 0.00) on attitudes toward science. It can be concluded that FBIM and 5E model are effective to enhance students attitudes toward science
Analysis of Tumpang Sari Horticulture Farming in Pattappang Village, Gowa Regency
This research was prepared aiming to determine the amount of cost, income, and efficiency of vegetable farming in the Buluballea Environment, Pattappang Village, Tinggimoncong District, Gowa Regency. Besides this research is also to determine the effect of factors such as land area, labor, manure, urea fertilizer, KCl fertilizer, ZA fertilizer, and cropping patterns on costs and income. Tumpangsari Farming is planting in almost the same time for the same two types of crops. The basic method used in this research is descriptive study and is done by interview technique. The selection of sample farmers uses a stratified random sampling method with a total of 5 (five) people. The type of data used in the study is primary data and secondary data collected by interview, note-taking, and observation technique
Pengembangan Perangkat Pembelajaran IPA Model 5e Di SMP
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran IPA model 5E di SMP Negeri 2 Kopang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang mengacu pada model Dick & Carey. Pada tahap evaluasi formatif dilakukan melalui (1) validasi perangkat oleh tiga orang ahli dan satu orang guru sebagai pengguna, (2) uji coba terbatas terhadap perangkat (silabus, RPP, dan LKS) dilakukan di kelas VII, dan (3) uji validitas dan reliabelitas instrumen penilaian (tes HBK dan angket HBA) dilakukan di kelas VIII. Rata-rata skor hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa semua perangkat pembelajaran layak digunakan dalam uji coba terbatas. Penggunaan perangkat (silabus dan RPP) pada uji coba terbatas mendapatkan respon sangat baik dari guru kelas VII selaku observer dengan rata-rata skor 4,20 dan respon sangat setuju dari peserta didik dengan rata-rata skor 4,12. Respon sangat setuju peserta didik juga ditunjukkan terhadap LKS (PKS dan LHKS) dengan rata-rata skor 4,14. Hasiluji validitas dan reliabilitas instrumen menunjukkan bahwa semua Ãtem tes KPS, tes HBK, dan angket HBA dinyatakan valid (r> 0.423) dan reliebel Cronbach'salphar > 0.423
