Ernesto Laclau al presentarnos la obra de S. Zizek El sublime objeto de la ideología señala que el psicoanálisis lacaniano no constituye un corpus cerrado sino, por el contrario, éste se ha diseminado por distintos campos. Sin embargo, en su país de origen, Francia, esta teoría se ha focalizado en la praxis clínica; en otros países, por el contrario, se ha bifurcado por otros senderos; así, por ejemplo, en los Estados Unidos, polemizó con el feminismo, mientras que en los países eslavos las categorías lacanianas han sido aplicadas, especialmente, a la filosofía política y al análisis de la ideología totalitaria y, por sobre todo, a la situación política de la naciente democracia de estos países; pero, en esencia, lo que más distingue a esta escuela es la lectura de Hegel a través del psicoanálisis; este marco epistemológico pulveriza la imagen del filósofo germano como “idealista monista”, pues marca la diferencia y la contingencia.Ponencia presentada en la Comisión O-Filosofía PolíticaDepartamento de Filosofí

Propaganda política y autocrítica en el Teatro de Pedro Calderón de la Barca

En la presente ponencia aspiramos analizar la función política que cumplió el teatro de Pedro Calderón de la Barca en la España del Siglo de Oro como medio de propaganda de la ideología oficial del Régimen, la Razón Católica de Estado. Para cumplir este cometido nos centraremos en el análisis del mensaje teatral. A Framework for Capacity and Operations Planning in Services Organizations Employing Workers with Intellectual Disabilities

[EN] This paper presents an integrated framework for capacity and operations planning in Spanish sheltered employment centers (SECs). Employment provides socio-economic opportunities for people with disability. Well functioning SECs that provide opportunities for people with and without disability to work alongside each other are an important component of Spain's current labor market. To be economically sustainable, SECs need to satisfy their clients expectations in terms of price, flexibility and performance, whilst taking into account and strengthening the diverse skills and abilities of their workforce like specific learning and forgetting processes. The SEC studied herein, a non-for-profit organization whose mission is to create employment for people with disabilities its workforce is deployed directly on clients' premises. Efficient management across this multi-site environment, whilst supporting the diverse employment needs of its staff, is of paramount importance. Operations Management at the service of health care management: Example of a proposal for action research to plan and schedule health resources in scenarios derived from the COVID-19 outbreak

[EN] With this work, we intend to promote research on the application of Operations Management tools in order to assist with decision-making in health crisis situations. During the first six weeks of the COVID-19 crisis in Spain, we have contacted a large number of hospital and health department managers in the Valencian Community and other regions of Spain. The result is that very few, at least when contact was made and at the time of writing this article, had consulted staff members in the Operations Management area for advice on this situation, and they are quite reluctant to do so. This is in spite of the fact that some medical sources also consider this crisis to be one of resources, not merely a medical crisis. Our opinion is that Operations Management can make a useful and valuable contribution to anticipate and improve the management of scarce resources, even in times of crisis. If those responsible for public health or heads of hospitals do not see this usefulness, then there is a huge gap between research and practice in Operations Management and what is transmitted to the healthcare sector. Thermal Performance of Facades Based on Experimental Monitoring of Outdoor Test Cells in Tropical Climate

The high cost of energy consumption in buildings highlights the importance of research focused on improving the energy efficiency of building’s envelope systems. It is important to characterize the real behavior of these systems to know the effectiveness in terms of energy reduction. Therefore, the aim of this paper is to characterize the thermal performance of facades based on experimental monitoring of outdoor test cells in tropical climate. To carry out this research, a case study was presented to compare two construction systems. One of them is a light façade (M1) and the other a reference façade (M2). A thermal simulation was performed for the opaque and glazed facades. In addition, several parameters were measured with different types of sensors, as well as environmental variables to evaluate the thermal and lighting behavior of multiple facades systems under real conditions. The findings show that light façade behavior was the opposite of what was expected, since by incorporating a window in the façade it has allowed solar radiation to increase the interior temperature in both modules. In the case of the light facade the penalization was higher than the reference facade, which has a lower thermal transmittance than M1. Doi: 10.28991/cej-2021-03091773 Full Text: PD
