It contextually arranges a view into formally very rich area of basic and also "above standard" human needs. Its aim is familiarization and connection of ethic codexes during the preparation, serving and consumption of food in different cultures and in art

Toxicity of the ethidium bromide applied inte molecular biological studies

Tato diplomová práce je zaměřena na zhodnocení toxicity a mutagenity etidium bromidu. Na základě chemických, fyzikálních a biologických vlastností etidium bromidu jsou sledovány jeho účinky na živé organismy. Provedli jsme orientační test toxicity etidium bromidu na biologickém modelu prvoka Paramecium caudatum. Za použití preparátů barvených fluorescenčně jsme hodnotili vliv etidium bromidu na buněčnou linii P3HR1 a u buněčné linie HL60 a sledovali vliv na fragmentaci deoxyribonukleové kyseliny. Stanovili jsme množství etidium bromidu, které se vyeluuje při elektroforéze nukleových kyselin na svarovém nosiči do elektroforetického pufru při jedné elektroforéze. Testovali jsme odolnost různých typů ochranných rukavic, které se běžně v molekulárně biologických laboratořích používají při práci s touto látkou. V poslední části diplomové práce jsme posuzovali dekontaminační metody pro etidium bromid a provedli jsme teoretický odhad množství etidium bromidu, které se z molekulárně genetických laboratoří dostane do odpadních vod při jeho likvidaci.This thesis is focused on toxicity and mutagenity of ethidium bromide. Effects of ethidium bromide on life organisms are observed on the basis of its chemical, physical and biological properties. Orientation test of ethidium bromide toxicity was done by means of biological model of protozoan Paramecium caudatum. We evaluated the influence of ethidium bromide on cellular line P3HR1 using fluorescent preparation. We also observed the influence of ethidium bromide on DNA fragmentation of cell line HL60. Using electrophoresis of nucleic acids, we established the amount of ethidium bromide which eluted to electrophoretical buffer. The resistance of protective gloves, which are currently used in molecular biological laboratories, was tested against effect of ethidium bromide. Finally we evaluated the methods of decontamination. The aim of the work is to verify the quality of materials available online suitable for use in teaching health education and to show their practical use. The available materials are verified by an analysis, which is focused on the examination of materials in terms of science, adequacy, practicality and suitability for use in a particular level of education. Cílem práce je ověřit kvalitu materiálů dostupných online vhodných k použití ve výuce Výchovy ke zdraví a ukázat jejich praktické využití. Materiály jsou ověřovány z hlediska kvality materiálů, jejich praktického využití při výuce a zaměření z hlediska stupně vzdělávání. Dostupné materiály jsou ověřeny analýzou, která je zaměřena na prověření materiálů z hlediska vědeckosti, přiměřenosti, praktičnosti a vhodnosti využití v konkrétním stupni vzdělávání. In-store communication in Ahold Czech Republic, a. s. Company

The aim of this paper is to analyse the in-store communication of regular promotional actions in Albert stores -- to evaluate used materials and advertising support, to compare its form with competition, to reveal its weaknesses and to propose how to eliminate possible inadequacies. Albert stores are run by Ahold Company in two formats in the Czech Republic -- supermarket and hypermarket. The first part of the paper deals with theoretical background. The second part describes the Czech retail market; above all the retail chains, main characteristics of the Czech costumer and also in-store communication in the Czech Republic in general. Consequently, the in-store communication analysis of Ahold Czech Republic, a. s. Company follows. The analysis is based on an author's investigation in Albert stores and in the selected competitive stores and also on author's researches and the other available researches. In terms of the analysis mentioned above a summary of the recent in-store communication in Albert stores is presented. The conclusion also mentions author's concrete proposals for achieving its higher effectiveness
