Abstract. Software Architecture can help people to better understand the gross structure and, with powerful analysis techniques, to evaluate the properties of a software system. To accommodate the dynamic changes and facilitate interop-eration of tools, an architectural description of the distributed system should be extensible and interchangeable. In this paper, we utilize the built-in extension mechanism of the Unified Modeling Language (UML) to describe the architec-tures of distributed systems, with the underlying architectural metadata repre-sented in XML. In particular, the approach has been applied to describe the ar-chitectural model of distributed software in the Graph-Oriented Programming framework. The proposed approach has many desirable features, characterized by being visual, easily extendable and interchangeable, and well supported by tools.

© 2017 American Society for Microbiology. While copper is an essential trace element in biology, pollution of groundwater from copper has become a threat to all living organisms. Cellular mechanisms underlying copper toxicity, however, are still not fully understood. Previous studies have shown that iron-sulfur proteins are among the primary targets of copper toxicity in Escherichia coli under aerobic conditions. Here, we report that, under anaerobic conditions, iron-sulfur proteins in E. coli cells are even more susceptible to copper in medium. Whereas addition of 0.2 mM copper(II) chloride to LB (Luria-Bertani) medium has very little or no effect on iron-sulfur proteins in wild-type E. coli cells under aerobic conditions, the same copper treatment largely inactivates iron-sulfur proteins by blocking iron-sulfur cluster biogenesis in the cells under anaerobic conditions. Importantly, proteins that do not have iron-sulfur clusters (e.g., fumarase C and cysteine desulfurase) in E. coli cells are not significantly affected by copper treatment under aerobic or anaerobic conditions, indicating that copper may specifically target iron-sulfur proteins in cells. Additional studies revealed that E. coli cells accumulate more intracellular copper under anaerobic conditions than under aerobic conditions and that the elevated copper content binds to the iron-sulfur cluster assembly proteins IscU and IscA, which effectively inhibits iron-sulfur cluster biogenesis. The results suggest that the copper-mediated inhibition of iron-sulfur proteins does not require oxygen and that iron-sulfur cluster biogenesis is the primary target of anaerobic copper toxicity in cells

Efficient and precise thinning during the orchard blossom period is a crucial factor in enhancing both fruit yield and quality. The accurate recognition of inflorescence is the cornerstone of intelligent blossom equipment. To advance the process of intelligent blossom thinning, this paper addresses the issue of suboptimal performance of current inflorescence recognition algorithms in detecting dense inflorescence at a long distance. It introduces an inflorescence recognition algorithm, YOLOv7-E, based on the YOLOv7 neural network model. YOLOv7 incorporates an efficient multi-scale attention mechanism (EMA) to enable cross-channel feature interaction through parallel processing strategies, thereby maximizing the retention of pixel-level features and positional information on the feature maps. Additionally, the SPPCSPC module is optimized to preserve target area features as much as possible under different receptive fields, and the Soft-NMS algorithm is employed to reduce the likelihood of missing detections in overlapping regions. The model is trained on a diverse dataset collected from real-world field settings. Upon validation, the improved YOLOv7-E object detection algorithm achieves an average precision and recall of 91.4% and 89.8%, respectively, in inflorescence detection under various time periods, distances, and weather conditions. The detection time for a single image is 80.9 ms, and the model size is 37.6 Mb. In comparison to the original YOLOv7 algorithm, it boasts a 4.9% increase in detection accuracy and a 5.3% improvement in recall rate, with a mere 1.8% increase in model parameters. The YOLOv7-E object detection algorithm presented in this study enables precise inflorescence detection and localization across an entire tree at varying distances, offering robust technical support for differentiated and precise blossom thinning operations by thinning machinery in the future

CMRxRecon: An open cardiac MRI dataset for the competition of accelerated image reconstruction

Cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (CMR) has emerged as a valuable diagnostic tool for cardiac diseases. However, a limitation of CMR is its slow imaging speed, which causes patient discomfort and introduces artifacts in the images. There has been growing interest in deep learning-based CMR imaging algorithms that can reconstruct high-quality images from highly under-sampled k-space data. However, the development of deep learning methods requires large training datasets, which have not been publicly available for CMR. To address this gap, we released a dataset that includes multi-contrast, multi-view, multi-slice and multi-coil CMR imaging data from 300 subjects. Imaging studies include cardiac cine and mapping sequences. Manual segmentations of the myocardium and chambers of all the subjects are also provided within the dataset. Scripts of state-of-the-art reconstruction algorithms were also provided as a point of reference. Our aim is to facilitate the advancement of state-of-the-art CMR image reconstruction by introducing standardized evaluation criteria and making the dataset freely accessible to the research community. BackgroundHouse dust mite (HDM) is the most common airborne source causing complex allergy symptoms. There are geographic differences in the allergen molecule sensitization profiles. Serological testing with allergen components may provide more clues for diagnosis and clinical management.ObjectiveThis study aims to investigate the sensitization profile of eight HDM allergen components in a large number of patients enrolled in the clinic and to analyze the relation of gender, age, and clinical symptoms in North China.MethodsThe 548 serum samples of HDM-allergic patients (ImmunoCAP® d1 or d2 IgE ≥0.35) were collected in Beijing City and divided in four different age groups and three allergic symptoms. The specific IgE of HDM allergenic components, Der p 1/Der f 1, Der p 2/Der f 2, Der p 7, Der p 10, Der p 21, and Der p 23, was measured using the micro-arrayed allergen test kit developed by Hangzhou Zheda Dixun Biological Gene Engineering Co., Ltd. The new system was validated by comparing to single-component Der p 1, Der p 2, and Der p 23 tests by ImmunoCAP in 39 sera. The epidemiological study of these IgE profiles and the relation to age and clinical phenotypes were analyzed.ResultsA greater proportion of male patients was in the younger age groups, while more female patients were in the adult groups. Both the sIgE levels and the positive rates (approximately 60%) against Der p 1/Der f 1 and Der p 2/Der f 2 were higher than for the Der p 7, Der p 10, and Der p 21 components (below 25%). The Der f 1 and Der p 2 positive rates were higher in 2–12-year-old children. The Der p 2 and Der f 2 IgE levels and positive rates were higher in the allergic rhinitis group. The positive rates of Der p 10 increased significantly with age. Der p 21 is relevant in allergic dermatitis symptom, while Der p 23 contributes to asthma development.ConclusionHDM groups 1 and 2 were the major sensitizing allergens, with group 2 being the most important component relevant to respiratory symptoms in North China. The Der p 10 sensitization tends to increase with age. Der p 21 and Der p 23 might be associated with the development of allergic skin disease and asthma, respectively. Multiple allergen sensitizations increased the risk of allergic asthma

In this paper, we investigate dynamic modeling, active boundary control design, and stability analysis for a coupled floating wind turbine (FWT) system, which is connected with two flexible mooring lines. It is a coupled beam-strings structure, and we design two boundary controllers to restrain the vibrations of this flexible system caused by external disturbances based on the coupled partial differential equations and ordinary differential equations (PDEs–ODEs) model. Meanwhile, significant performance of designed boundary controllers and system’s stability are theoretically analyzed, and a set of simulation results are provided to show efficacy of the proposed approach

We report the observation and study of the decay J/ψ→ϕηη′J/\psi\rightarrow\phi\eta\eta' using 1.3×1091.3\times{10^9} J/ψJ/\psi events collected with the BESIII detector. Its branching fraction, including all possible intermediate states, is measured to be (2.32±0.06±0.16)×10−4(2.32\pm0.06\pm0.16)\times{10^{-4}}. We also report evidence for a structure, denoted as XX, in the ϕη′\phi\eta' mass spectrum in the 2.0−2.12.0-2.1 GeV/c2c^2 region. Using two decay modes of the η′\eta' meson (γπ+π−\gamma\pi^+\pi^- and ηπ+π−\eta\pi^+\pi^-), a simultaneous fit to the ϕη′\phi\eta' mass spectra is performed. Assuming the quantum numbers of the XX to be JP=1−J^P = 1^-, its significance is found to be 4.4σ\sigma, with a mass and width of (2002.1±27.5±21.4)(2002.1 \pm 27.5 \pm 21.4) MeV/c2c^2 and (129±17±9)(129 \pm 17 \pm 9) MeV, respectively, and a product branching fraction B(J/ψ→ηX)×B(X→ϕη′)=(9.8±1.2±1.7)×10−5\mathcal{B}(J/\psi\rightarrow\eta{}X)\times{}\mathcal{B}(X\rightarrow\phi\eta')=(9.8 \pm 1.2 \pm 1.7)\times10^{-5}. Alternatively, assuming JP=1+J^P = 1^+, the significance is 3.8σ\sigma, with a mass and width of (2062.8±13.1±7.2)(2062.8 \pm 13.1 \pm 7.2) MeV/c2c^2 and (177±36±35)(177 \pm 36 \pm 35) MeV, respectively, and a product branching fraction B(J/ψ→ηX)×B(X→ϕη′)=(9.6±1.4±2.0)×10−5\mathcal{B}(J/\psi\rightarrow\eta{}X)\times{}\mathcal{B}(X\rightarrow\phi\eta')=(9.6 \pm 1.4 \pm 2.0)\times10^{-5}. The angular distribution of J/ψ→ηXJ/\psi\rightarrow\eta{}X is studied and the two JPJ^P assumptions of the XX cannot be clearly distinguished due to the limited statistics. In all measurements the first uncertainties are statistical and the second systematic.Comment: 10 pages, 6 figures and 4 table
