Traditional accounting is an instrument of global economy that is limited to disseminating financial information to interested users. In this case, accounting can only reflect the economic impact of a company, thus overlooking its social and environmental impact. The purpose of this work is to create a set of basic concepts to ensure proper understanding and subsequent representation of information for the social and environmental accounting segment, aiming to provide theoretical reference frameworks that enhance research of the preparation of social and environmental accounting models.La contabilidad tradicional se configura como un instrumento de la economía mundial, limitada a divulgar información de carácter financiero a los usuarios de interés; en tal caso la contabilidad tan solo reflejará los impactos económicos de la empresa, ignorando los impactos sociales y medioambientales. The investigation reveals significative statistics diference between users and no users of condoms, but also the investigation reveals the attitude is not part of intention or buying probability.Las decisiones son influenciadas por las actitudes, las actitudes explícitas son premeditadas y abiertas, estas no siempre van acorde a la conducta. Las actitudes implícitas son evaluaciones automáticas e influyen en las respuestas involuntarias de los individuos. En esta investigación se indagó la relación entre las actitudes e intención de compra de condones en 62 personas de la ciudad de Bogotá, con edades entre los 18 y 30 años. Se empleó un diseño experimental aplicando el IAT, distribuido en cinco bloques y un cuestionario de intención de compra. Se encontraron diferencias estadísticamente significativas entre usuarios y no usuarios de condones, observando que los usuarios presentan tiempos promedio de respuesta menor a los estímulos frente a los no usuarios, y los tiempos de respuesta también son menores en las características físicas de los condones sobre las características funcionales, finalmente la actitud implícita no está relacionada con la intención de compra.Magíster en Psicología ClínicaMaestrí

Technical Note: Design of a large variable temperature chamber for heat stress studies in rabbits

[EN] One of the major constraint factors for rabbit production consists of the environmental conditions and especially high temperatures that negatively affect reproduction and growth performance. For this reason, several studies have addressed the effects of heat stress and possible solutions to alleviate its impact on rabbit performance. This article describes the design and operating features of a large temperature chamber (13x4.7x3.1 m) configured to house 42 rabbits. The probes consisted of temperature sensor model DS2438 and humidity sensor model HIH-5031. The system was controlled by an Arduino platform programmed by its Integrated Development Environment (IDE) software. The system takes a decision every minute: it connects the heating if the temperature is lower than programmed and connects exhaust fans if the temperature is over the programmed setting. To renew the indoor air, every 5 min the system switches off the heating and switches on the exhaust fans for 15 sec. Two experiments (with and without animals) were carried out to test the temperature control accuracy. Firstly, without animals, two tests were performed: (i) adjusting the temperature of the climatic chamber to the control house temperature plus 10ºC and (ii) based on daily minimum (32ºC) and maximum (37ºC) temperatures. Secondly, with animals, does were maintained (i) between a daily minimum (32ºC) and maximum (37ºC) for 48 h and (ii) between a daily minimum (25ºC) and maximum (35ºC) temperatures for 105 d. Mortality rates were noted in both tests. The results of comparing the measured temperature deviation from programmed temperature reported a coefficient of determination of 0.9850 and 0.9947, for plus 10ºC and 32-37ºC curves, respectively. In the animal tests, the determination coefficients were 0.9926 and 0.9928 for programmed curve in the range of 32 to 37ºC and 0.9859, 0.9900 and 0.9901 for programmed curve in the range of 25 to 35ºC. Survival of females in the temperature chamber was as expected for reproductive rabbit does: 100 and 82% in the 2 and 105 d trials, respectively. Construcción de un banco de pruebas y limpieza de inyectores a gasolina

Research and development is a key part of evolution where science and technology play an important role in development, which seeks to improve living conditions to protect the environment. Gasoline combustion is a means having a high impact on the environment. Currently several auto companies have created green vehicles with less impact contributing to reducing pollutants. With these assessments and towards helping to improve the current conditions it is proposed to conduct an investigation based on the test benches of electromagnetic injectors and maintenance, for proper maintenance of combustion engines allow the vehicle and the engine work efficiently and therefore less polluting. Optimization is generated when the injectors meet a rigorous maintenance and cleaning by ultrasound and the test bench, where it is verified that the operation of the injectors meets the standards to be followed under the use of manual order to ensure due process and handling of the injectors for optimum combustion and efficient engine operation. Proper maintenance is given by the control and supervision; this means that the vehicle must meet 30 thousand kilometers to access its first maintenance and cleaning for optimal performance of the injector.La investigación y desarrollo es parte fundamental de la evolución en donde la ciencia y tecnología juegan un papel importante en el desarrollo, en donde se busca mejorar las condiciones de vida al cuidar el medio ambiente. La gasolina es un medio de combustión que tiene un alto impacto en el medio ambiente. En la actualidad varias empresas automovilísticas han creado vehículos ecológicos con menor impacto que aportan a la reducción de elementos contaminantes. Con estas acotaciones y en pro de ayudar a mejorar las condiciones actuales se ha propuesto realizar una investigación a base de los bancos de prueba de los inyectores electromagnéticos y su mantenimiento, pues un adecuado mantenimiento de los motores a combustión permitiría que el vehículo y el motor trabajen de forma eficiente y por tanto sea menos contaminante. La optimización se genera cuando los inyectores cumplen con un riguroso proceso de mantenimiento y limpieza mediante el ultrasonido y el banco de pruebas, en donde se verifica que el funcionamiento de los inyectores cumpla con los estándares que deben seguirse bajo el uso de manuales con la finalidad de garantizar un adecuado proceso y manipulación de los inyectores para lograr una óptima combustión y el funcionamiento eficiente del motor. Un mantenimiento adecuado se da mediante el control y supervisión; es decir que el vehículo debe cumplir con 30 mil kilómetros para acceder a su primer mantenimiento y limpieza para alcanzar un óptimo desempeño del inyector

Estudio piloto de posibles variables cualitativas y cuantitativas incidentes en la recordación de marca del grupo Nutresa

Este proyecto de investigación parte de la necesidad expresada por un representante del Grupo Nutresa de poder implementar una estrategia para impulsar la recordación del logo como parte de su marca, generando el objetivo principal de Analizar la incidencia de las variables cualitativas: Relación Figura/Fondo y Posición del logo en el producto sobre la recordación del logo de la marca del Grupo Nutresa, mediante el uso de herramientas de investigación de mercados y estadística inferencial. Mediante el análisis estadístico de la influencia de las variables estudiadas, se determinó que solamente la relación Figura-Fondo: Verde-Blanco, tuvo una influencia significativa sobre la recordación del logo.
