Transformation of the force - deflection diagram under a three-point-bending into the stress - crack opening relationship
vzorku. Napětí je aproximováno kombinací exponenciálních funkcí doplněnou o člen vystihující
prokluz vláken přemosťujících trhlinu. In this paper, an analytical form of the transformation from the force – deflection diagram
obtained under a three-point bending into the stress – crack opening relationship of concrete with
polypropylene fibers is outlined. The transformation is based on the description of the kinematic
behavior of the test sample. The stress is approximated by a combination of exponential functions
supplemented with a term capturing the slip of fibers bridging the crack

Analytical model of composite floors with steel fibre reinforced concrete slab subjected to fire
Under fire, membrane action plays an important role in the performance of slabs subjected to large deflections. In this paper, a new model is proposed based on a proper approximation of horizontal displacements for a simply supported composite slab. The novelty of the proposed approach consists in a special treatment of the system of shape functions for the “in-plane” displacements. Moreover, a load applied to the slab is divided into two components, so that one component is balanced by the membrane forces, while the second one is transmitted by the bending forces (including transfer of shear and moment). The deflection due to thermal elongations is replaced by the identical deflection caused by a fictitious load. Unknown parameters are calculated using the principle of virtual displacements. The effectiveness of the model is validated by the results obtained from experiments.

Analysis of coupled heat and moisture transfer in masonry structures
Evaluation of effective or macroscopic coefficients of thermal conductivity
under coupled heat and moisture transfer is presented. The paper first gives a
detailed summary on the solution of a simple steady state heat conduction
problem with an emphasis on various types of boundary conditions applied to the
representative volume element -- a periodic unit cell. Since the results
essentially suggest no superiority of any type of boundary conditions, the
paper proceeds with the coupled nonlinear heat and moisture problem subjecting
the selected representative volume element to the prescribed macroscopically
uniform heat flux. This allows for a direct use of the academic or commercially
available codes. Here, the presented results are derived with the help of the
SIFEL (SIimple Finite Elements) system.Comment: 23 pages, 11 figure

Title: Visual tools for mental processes support Author: Bc. Jiří Šejnoha Department: Department of Applied Mathematics Supervisor: doc. RNDr. Zdeněk Hedrlín, CSc. Abstract: The idea of work is the use of nonlinear model of mental processes as a means of representation considerations (the projection of the human mind), with thesis so registered thoughts, compared to a standard linear form of written text, to better understand particularly complex considerations, their contexts, integration and support their utříbení. Model mental processes is designed based on inspiration by buoy (Herbart's) and while model. The following discussion of its limits, and the legitimacy of comparing with similar models: Model Theater, MoM, Carnap's model of the mind and NOGA model. Implementation of the work includes a formalization of the design model. The draft also implementation and implementation, which is then used to verify the thesis contribution for users using a questionnaire. The results are discussed and on this basis is formed by the end. Keywords: mind, mental process, model, understanding, tool, whil

Simulation of Stock Exchange
The topic of this work is simulation of stock market. Studying the dependence of Prague stock exchange index PX depending on the macroeconomic parameters. It uses the connection methods, neural networks and random walks, where the random walk forward trained neural network functions as decision-making unit, normally used instead of linear approximation. Specially concerning the relationship of dependence PX on exchange rate U.S. dollar and Czech crown, gross domestic product of the Czech Republic and 2W repo rate. Simulation is performed using neural networks and linear approximation to the historical dates against them is then validated
