新羅玄一撰『無量寿経記』諸本の系譜 ―書陵部蔵奈良朝写本を中心として―
According to catalogues, Hyon-il of Silla (c. 7th century) penned several commentaries, though only the first scroll of his Wuliangshou jing ji 無量寿経記(*Record of the Sūtra of Immeasurable Life) survives. A printed version is contained in the Zokuzōkyō 続蔵経. It is based on a manuscript from Year 7 of the Kaei Era. A much older version can be found in the form of a Nara-era manuscript in the Archives and Mausolea Department of the Imperial Household Agency. There is also an extant scroll copied from this Imperial Archives manuscript by Tanzan Jungei (c.1785衾c. 1847). Upon comparing these different versions, I discovered several noteworthy features. To begin with, the Kaei-era manuscript suffers from lacunae and sheets that are out of order. Next, all versions of the first scroll of Wuliangshou jing ji are missing the first section. This suggests that they all belong to the same line of transmission, but the Imperial Archives manuscript has six lines of text in its opening section not seen in the other versions. In Wuliangshou jing ji, Hyon-il liberally quotes Wuliangshou jing yishu 無量寿経義疏, which was authored by his senior Pop-wi 法位(fl. 7th century). For this reason, in the past, Wuliangshou jing ji has been thought to rely exclusively on the work of Pop-wi, and as a consequence little value was been placed on it as a commentary in its own right. In this paper, however, I challenge that view and reassess the scholarly value of Wuliangshou jing ji
REPRESENTASI KEKERASAN TERHADAP PEREMPUAN DALAM SERIAL DRAMA KOREA NETFLIX THE WORLD OF THE MARRIED (ANALISIS SEMIOTIKA ROLAND BARTHES DALAM SERIAL DRAMA “THE WORLD OF THE MARRIED” KARYA JOO HYUN)
Online Feature Selection for Visual Tracking
Object tracking is one of the most important tasks in many applications of computer vision. Many tracking methods use a fixed set of features ignoring that appearance of a target object may change drastically due to intrinsic and extrinsic factors. The ability to dynamically identify discriminative features would help in handling the appearance variability by improving tracking performance. The contribution of this work is threefold. Firstly, this paper presents a collection of several modern feature selection approaches selected among filter, embedded, and wrapper methods. Secondly, we provide extensive tests regarding the classification task intended to explore the strengths and weaknesses of the proposed methods with the goal to identify the right candidates for online tracking. Finally, we show how feature selection mechanisms can be successfully employed for ranking the features used by a tracking system, maintaining high frame rates. In particular, feature selection mounted on the Adaptive Color Tracking (ACT) system operates at over 110 FPS. This work demonstrates the importance of feature selection in online and realtime applications, resulted in what is clearly a very impressive performance, our solutions improve by 3% up to 7% the baseline ACT while providing superior results compared to 29 state-of-the-art tracking methods

Discovering Class-Specific Pixels for Weakly-Supervised Semantic Segmentation
We propose an approach to discover class-specific pixels for the
weakly-supervised semantic segmentation task. We show that properly combining
saliency and attention maps allows us to obtain reliable cues capable of
significantly boosting the performance. First, we propose a simple yet powerful
hierarchical approach to discover the class-agnostic salient regions, obtained
using a salient object detector, which otherwise would be ignored. Second, we
use fully convolutional attention maps to reliably localize the class-specific
regions in a given image. We combine these two cues to discover class-specific
pixels which are then used as an approximate ground truth for training a CNN.
While solving the weakly supervised semantic segmentation task, we ensure that
the image-level classification task is also solved in order to enforce the CNN
to assign at least one pixel to each object present in the image.
Experimentally, on the PASCAL VOC12 val and test sets, we obtain the mIoU of
60.8% and 61.9%, achieving the performance gains of 5.1% and 5.2% compared to
the published state-of-the-art results. The code is made publicly available
The Reformed-Roman Catholic dialogue on the eucharist with focus on the contribution of Thomas F. Torrance
This thesis investigates the possibilities of theological agreement between the Reformed and the Roman Catholic churches on the Eucharist from the Reformed perspective. The first chapter is dedicated to the theology of Ulrich Zwingli and John Calvin on the Lord’s Supper. It unveils two aspects: first it shows that although they have different perspectives on the Christ’s Eucharistic presence, their views converged; second, it shows that their views stand in contrast to the Roman Catholic conception of the sacrificial aspect of the Eucharist. The second chapter deals with the fourth session of the first phase of the Reformed–Roman Catholic dialogue, which focused on the Eucharist. It highlights that the final report does not reflect all the convergences of the dialogue concerning the real presence of Christ in the Eucharist. The third chapter argues that agreement or at least greater convergence is possible on the sacrificial aspect of the Eucharist by the contribution of Thomas F. Torrance, who has developed a Reformed Eucharistic theology through what he called a Christological and Eschatological correction
The living words of the living master: Sants, Sikhs, Sachkhand Nanak Dham and the academy
This article investigates a new religious movement, Sachkhand Nanak Dham, by comparing it with Sikhism. It argues that Sachkhand Nanak Dham has affinities with both Punjabi popular religiosity and Sikh sectarian movements. Further, it argues that Sachkhand Nanak Dham today is similar to an earlier stage in the development of Sikhism. It provides an account of the life and work of the founder of Sachkhand Nanak Dham, Mahraz Darshan Das Ji, and identifies significant continuities with the life and work of the founder of Sikhism, Guru Nanak, suggesting that these continuities may be explained by reference to the Sant tradition. Finally, the article speculates about the future development of Sachkhand Nanak Dham, specifically whether it can avoid the fate of becoming a ‘religion’, according to Mahraz Darshan Das Ji, an institutionalised orthodoxy antithetical to revelatory insight, and in so doing considers the possibility of a new lineage of living Masters
