Import 04/11/2015Práca sa zaoberá prieskumom a overením možností proaktívneho vyhľadávania sietí na pozadí prebiehajúcej bezdrôtovej komunikácie a využitím získaného výsledku pre rýchlu reasociáciu pri strate signálu s aktuálnym prístupovým bodom. V práci sa zoznámime so štandardom 802.11 pre bezdrôtové siete, problematikou vplyvu vyhľadávania bezdrôtových sietí na prebiehajúcu komunikáciu a nástrojom iw pre GNU/Linux. Zostavíme vhodné prostredie pre prevádzanie proaktívneho vyhľadávania, navrhneme metodiku pre preukázanie vplyvu vyhľadávania sietí na prebiehajúcu komunikáciu a implementujeme aplikáciu, ktorá pri strate spojenia využije výsledky vyhľadávania na pozadí k naviazaniu spojenia s najvhodnejším prístupovým bodom.This bachelors thesis deals with possibilities of proactive scanning in the background of ongoing wireless communication and utilizing obtained results for fast reassociation in case of lost signal with actual access point. In this thesis we will get familiar with 802.11 standard for wireless networks, impact of scanning on ongoing wireless communication and iw tool for GNU/Linux. We will set up an environment suitable for proactive scanning, suggest a method to demonstrate the impact of network scan on ongoing wireless communication and implement an application, which in case of lost connection will utilize obtained results for establishing connection with best available access point.460 - Katedra informatikyvýborn

Tato inovace s sebou přináší odlehčení výrobních kapacit a zjednodušení práce operátora. V teoretické části práce jsou, po seznámení se stávajícím zařízením, sumarizovány požadavky na nové zařízení. Následují čtyři navržené koncepty konstrukčního řešení inovace, z nichž je, metodou vícekriteriálního porovnávání variant, vybrán jeden k realizaci. Praktická část práce pojednává o zvoleném konstrukčním návrhu včetně jeho samotné digitální realizace. Jsou navrženy a zkontrolovány pneumatické pohony a další funkční díly, jako jsou lineární vedení a cyklicky namáhané tlačné pružiny. Následně jsou navrženy bezpečnostní prvky a spočítána návratnost investice do této inovace

Emotional intelligence in heterosexual and non-heterosexualpeople in the context of gender identity

The main topic of the dissertation thesis is the construct of emotional intelligence which can be defined via several theoretical models out of which the well known ones are presented step by step in the theoretical part of this work. The paper also exlains the main difference between ability and trait emotional intelligence which represent two different ways, above all, for measuring the construct. The most well know tools are presented in one of the chapters too. The theoretical part of the dissertation largely elaborate on the topic of individual differences in emotional intelligence which were explored within the basic research of the construct. The purpose of the two separate studies which were conducted within the dissertation research project was to examine whether the groups of heterosexual and non-heterosexual respondents are statistically similar or different in both ability and trait emotional intelligence and in emotion regulation which is considered to be the upper component of emotional intelligence. Moreover, the first study focused on the replication of low correlation between ability and trait emotional intelligence and on the relation between ability emotional intelligence and cognitive intelligence. The relation between trait emotional intelligence and personality traits was...Jádrovým tématem disertační práce je emoční inteligence, která bývá konceptualizována vícero teoretickými modely, z nichž ty nejznámější jsou v teoretické části práce postupně představovány. Pojednáno je rovněž o hlavních rozdílech mezi takzvanou schopnostní a rysovou emoční inteligencí, které reprezentují dva diferencované přístupy k měření konstruktu. Práce předkládá rovněž informace o několika v současnosti nejznámějších konkrétních nástrojích využívaných pro měření emoční inteligence. Široce jsou rozebírány meziskupinové rozdíly v úrovni emoční inteligence, které byly zjištěny dosavadním základním výzkumem. Vlastní výzkumný problém řešený v empirické části je zaměřen na porovnání úrovně schopnostní i rysové emoční inteligence mezi skupinou heterosexuálních a ne-heterosexuálních osob a na otázku, zdali mezi těmito skupinami existují statisticky významné rozdíly. Obdobná komparace je provedena také pro emoční regulaci jakožto hierarchicky nejvyšší úroveň konstruktu emoční inteligence. Nadto je v rámci dvou separátních studií výzkumu cíleno na replikaci slabého vztahu schopnostní a rysové emoční inteligence, a dále také vztahu schopnostní emoční inteligence s kognitivním intelektem a na souvztažnost rysové emoční inteligence s osobnostními rysy. Processes in the advertising agency Dentsu Czech Republic

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to describe business processes in the advertising agency Dentsu Czech Republiv and to infer employees contentment with the setting of the business processes based on an internal survey. Theoretical part describes business processes and process management, then delineate new ways of management, continues with the description of adverting agencies and the business processes they use and lastly summarize history and present of the advertising agency Dentsu. The practical part of the thesis analyzes internal materiál of the project office in Dentsu Czech Republic and describes business processes in the company. Simultaneously evaluates internal survey of employees contentment with the business processes. Lastly carries out the McKinsey 7S strategic analysis.Bakalářská práce si klade za cíl popsat procesy v marketingové agentuře Dentsu Czech Republic a dále pomocí interního dotazníku zjistit, jak jsou zaměstnanci s nastavením procesů spokojení. Photobiological safety evaluation of light sources for household use

Tato práce pojednává o fotobiologické bezpečnosti světelných zdrojů používaných pro osvětlení domácností. Teoretická část práce se věnuje oblastem souvisejících s fotobiologickou bezpečností, jako například popisem základních funkcí zraku, popisem světelných zdrojů, a také způsoby měření a vyhodnocení. V praktické části je měřeno spektrum jednotlivých světelných zdrojů, ze kterého jsou následně vypočítány meze ozáření, podle kterých je zdroj zařazen do patřičné skupiny nebezpečí.This thesis deals with the photobiological safety of light sources used for household lighting. The theoretical part of the thesis is devoted to areas related to photobiological safety, such as the basic description of vision functions, the description of light sources, as well as methods of measurement and evaluation. In the practical part, the spectrum of individual light sources is measured, from which the irradiance limits are calculated, according to which the source is assigned to the appropriate group of hazards.

DYNAMIC TESTING OF BUSES AND THEIR COMPONENTS

The article gives an overview of a virtual simulation method under ECE Regulation No. R66 – bus rollover. The first part of the article introduces the process of virtual simulations in terms of homologation. The conclusion is focused on the correlation of physical tests with virtual simulations. Článek se věnuje problematice virtuálních simulací dle předpisu ECE No. R66 – převrácení autobusů. V jednotlivých kapitolách je rozebrán postup virtuálních simulací z pohledu metodiky a homologačního procesu. Závěr je věnován korelaci fyzických testů s virtuálními simulacemi

The Hierarchy of Hereditary Sorting Operators

We consider the following general model of a sorting procedure: we fix a hereditary permutation class $\mathcal{C}$, which corresponds to the operations that the procedure is allowed to perform in a single step. The input of sorting is a permutation $\pi$ of the set $[n]=\{1,2,\dotsc,n\}$, i.e., a sequence where each element of $[n]$ appears once. In every step, the sorting procedure picks a permutation $\sigma$ of length $n$ from $\mathcal{C}$, and rearranges the current permutation of numbers by composing it with $\sigma$. The goal is to transform the input $\pi$ into the sorted sequence $1,2,\dotsc,n$ in as few steps as possible. This model of sorting captures not only classical sorting algorithms, like insertion sort or bubble sort, but also sorting by series of devices, like stacks or parallel queues, as well as sorting by block operations commonly considered, e.g., in the context of genome rearrangement. Our goal is to describe the possible asymptotic behavior of the worst-case number of steps needed when sorting with a hereditary permutation class. As the main result, we show that any hereditary permutation class $\mathcal{C}$ falls into one of five distinct categories. Disregarding the classes that cannot sort all permutations, the number of steps needed to sort any permutation of $[n]$ with $\mathcal{C}$ is either $\Theta(n^2)$, a function between $O(n)$ and $\Omega(\sqrt{n})$, a function betwee $O(\log^2 n)$ and $\Omega(\log n), or$1$, and for each of these cases we provide a structural characterization of the corresponding hereditary classes
