A Summary of the Current State of the Use of CNG in the Czech Republic

Import 02/11/2016Práce se zaměřuje na využívání stlačeného zemního plynu v automobilovém průmyslu. V první části práce jsem se zaměřil na zemní plyn obecně, jak se přepravuje, těží a jaké jsou světové zásoby. Druhá část práce se věnuje stlačenému zemnímu plynu. Popsal jsem jeho složení, využívání a současný stav v České Republice. Dále jsem se zaměřil na plnící stanice a bezpečnost vozidel poháněných tímto palivem. Poslední část obsahuje srovnání CNG, ropy a LPG na základě produkce spalin. V závěru práce jsem s pomocí dotazníku, zhodnotil povědomí české veřejnosti v oblasti pohonných hmot a současného stavu využívání CNG.The thesis focuses on the use of compressed natural gas in automotive industry. In first part of thesis I focused on natural gas generally, how to transport, extract and how large are the world’s natural gas reserves. The second part of thesis focuses on compressed natural gas. I described its composition, uses and current state in Czech Republic. Then I focused on filling stations and safety of vehicles powered by this fuel. Another part contains comparison of CNG, petroleum and LPG according to flue gas production. At last part I evaluated awareness of czech population in the field of fuel and the current state of the use of CNG, according to questionnaire.361 - Katedra energetikyvýborn

Design of Computer Network for New Built Family House

Cílem této práce je navrhnout kompletní počítačovou síť v novostavbě rodinného domu tak, aby mohla spolehlivě pokrýt potřeby tříčlenné rodiny, a to jak kancelářské, tak studentské.The aim of this work is to propose a complete computer network in a newly built family house so that it can reliably meet the needs of a three-member family, and both office and student.

Conceptual Design of the Cogeneration Unit with Micro Turbine with Regenerative Heating of Air and Heat Accumulator

Diplomová práce se zabývá koncepčním návrhem kogenerační jednotky s mikroturbínou s regeneračním ohřevem vzduchu a akumulací tepla. V teoretické části se píše o energii, teplu a elektřině. Následuje popis kogenerace a mikroturbíny. V hlavní části práce nabízí návrh kogenerační jednotky s jednostupňovou a dvoustupňovou kompresí. Pro první řešení je navrhnut také výměník tepla spaliny – voda a akumulační nádrž pro akumulaci tepelné energie. Součástí diplomové práce je také výkresová dokumentace výměníku tepla a akumulátoru tepla.The diploma thesis deals with the conceptual design of cogeneration unit with micro-turbine with regenerative air heating and thermal accumulation. In the theoretical part is written about energy, heat and electricity. The following is a description of cogeneration and microturbines. The main part of the thesis proposes a cogeneration unit with single-stage and two-stage compression. For the first solution, an exhaust gas heatexchanger - water and a storage tank for thermal energy storage are also proposed. Application of system catalogue for database management

Účelem této práce je návrh a následné zhotovení webové aplikace pro správu databáze, využívající systémový katalog databázového systému Microsoft SQL. Úvod práce pojednává o principu relačních databází včetně uvedení nejrozšířenějších databázových systémů, dále je uvedena syntaxe dotazovacího jazyka SQL. V další kapitole popisuji vlastnosti systémového katalogu, které jsem ve své práci využil. Poslední teoretická část je zaměřena na popis platformy .NET, důraz je kladen hlavně na technologie ASP.NET a ADO.NET. První jmenovaná slouží k vytváření dynamických webových stránek. Druhá z nich je objektová knihovna pro přístup k datům. Praktická část práce zahrnuje návrh webové aplikace, podle něhož je výsledná webová aplikace vytvořena, v této části je kladen důraz především na zabezpečení a předpokládanou programovou část webové aplikace. V poslední části dokumentu je popsána hotová aplikace především z hlediska konfigurace a funkcí, které přináší uživateli. V závěru jsem stručně zhodnotil výsledek této práce.The purpose of this project is to create a design and subsequently the web application for a database management which uses the system catalogue of the Microsoft SQL database system. The introduction deals with the principle of the relational databases and includes the list of the most widespread database systems. The next chapter of the theoretical part describes the syntax of the SQL query language, and the next chapter deals with the properties of the system catalogue which were utilized. Finally, the last of the theoretical chapters is centred on the .NET platform and its technologies – particularly the ASP.NET and the ADO.NET technologies. The former is used for creating dynamical web pages, and the latter is an object library used for the data access. The practical part of this work comprises the web application scheme on which is the final web application based. The most emphasized issues in this part are the security and the supposed program design of the web application. The final part of the work contains a description of the finished web application, especially the configuration and the functions which the application provides to a user. And finally, the whole project is briefly evaluated in the conclusion.

Hate crimes

This bachelor thesis is focused on the concept of hate crime. At first it defines the term, its alternatives and options of translating it to Czech. Separately, the concepts of hate violence and hate speech are covered. The thesis then describes the perpetrator, his typical form, motives and the role of prejudice in the act of hate crime. Finally, the thesis focuses on the victims of hate crimes and their identification, followed by the victimization phenomenon and its specifics in the case of hate crime victims. Furthermore, model examples of victim groups are described, followed by description of the situation in Czech republic, the rights of victims here and the position of the Roma community. The proposition of research is focused on understandind the victim's point of view. The goal of the research lies in getting a better insight into the experience of the victim and determining the main areas of support the victim regards substancial. Nejprve vymezuje pojem hate crime, jeho alternativy a možné varianty překladu. Samostatně se věnuje pojmům násilí z nenávisti a hate speech. Dále uvádí charakteristiky pachatele, jeho různé motivace a roli předsudečnosti v jeho konání. V závěru se práce zaměřuje na oběť. Rozebírá její identifikací, fenomén viktimizace a její specifika v případě hate crimes. Dále práce uvádí modelové skupiny obětí a následně se věnuje situaci v České republice, právy oběti zde a pozicí Romů. Návrh výzkumu je zaměřen na porozumění pohledu obětí hate crimes. Výzkum si klade za cíl získání lepšího vhledu do zkušenosti obětí a stanovení hlavních oblastí podpory, které oběti považují za nejpodstatnější. Práce se zabývá osudy deseti československých legionářů, kteří za první světové války sloužili v čs. dobrovolnickém vojsku v zahraničí a po skončení druhé světové války stanuli před Mimořádným lidovým soudem v Chrudimi.This study describes lifes of ten men, who served in czechoslovak legions in First world war and after nazi ocupation of Czechoslovakia stood in front of Extraordinary peoples court in Chrudim. In first part of this work is mentioned their duty in volunteer czechoslovak army in Russia, France and Italy. The main section is about their lives during Second world war and postwar trials in front of Extraordinary peoples court in Chrudim

Virtual simulation of magnetic resonance imaging as a method of exposure to the feared examination- a feasibility study

This thesis is a feasibility study, carried out by the Center for Virtual Reality Research in Mental Health and Neuroscience in National Institute of Mental Health. It studies the feasibility and potential usability of virtual simulation of the magnetic resonance imaging procedure as a method of lowering the fear of claustrophobic patients of this procedure. The theoretical part of the thesis explores the subject of virtual reality, its technology, concept of presence and the clinical applications of virtual reality. Additionally, it inspects the area of anxiety and claustrophobia in relation to magnetic imaging procedure and possible interventions. Furthermore, it discusses the topic of virtual reality usability as an intervention procedure. The analytic part of the thesis laid out two research goals. First, to evaluate the usability of virtual reality simulation with claustrophobic patients, and second, to assess the potential of this simulation in lowering the fear of real magnetic resonance. The results show the ability of the virtual simulation to effectively produce anxiety in claustrophobic patients and its potential to lower the fear of real magnetic resonance procedure
