Consecutive tuning the test configuration to get as most realistic conditions as possible. There is explained and shown on specific examples corrections of boundary conditions to finaly form based on inputs from real situations and experience. The second part is about own course of testing and results evaluation.

Afterwards verification of function in comparison to the serial production part. Original part simultaneously works as the input to obtain the CAD data by the reverse engineering methodes. Production process and verification of the prototype tool and samples of sealing is realized in the laboratory of the company Henniges Automotive development department

Natal dispersal based on past and present environmental phenology in the pied flycatcher (Ficedula hypoleuca)

this is the postprint version of the article. the published version of the article can be found at www.springerlink.comNatal dispersal allows individuals to reach suitable breeding sites. The effect of present plant phenology as a cue for dispersal into areas with favourable stages of development has been well established across avian and mammalian taxa. However, the effect of past experience is less understood. We studied the effect of past and present phenology of the environment on the direction and distance of natal dispersal in a passerine bird, the pied flycatcher (Ficedula hypoleuca). We monitored spring settlement of local recruits in six nest box plots along a 10-km stretch of a south-north gradient of plant and caterpillar food development. We found that males used both past experience of caterpillar phenology from early life and actual plant phenology during the recruitment season as independent cues for breeding settlement. Males that had experienced a mismatch with the caterpillar food peak as a nestling, and/or those that arrived late in the spring in the recruitment year, moved north of their natal site, whereas males that had experienced a better match with the caterpillars as a nestling, and/or those that migrated earlier in the spring, settled at a similar site or more to the south. In females, no such effects were found, suggesting that the usage of phenological cues is sex specific. In summary, tracking environmental phenology by natal dispersal may represent an effective mechanism for settling in new favourable areas, and may thus potentially cause rapid change of a species’ geographical breeding range in response to climate change.2014-12-3

In the crystal structure of the title compound, C43H34N3O5 +·C6H2N3O7 −·C3H6O, the large dimension and shape of the cation are responsible for the elongation of the orthorhombic unit cell. The ions and acetone molecules are linked together by a system of hydrogen bonds involving an intermolecular hydrogen bond between one N atom of the cation and the O atom of acetone and two intermolecular hydrogen bonds between the cation N atoms and the O atoms of the picrate anion. No intramolecular hydrogen bonds exist in the structure. The dihedral angle between the two naphthalene ring systems is 76.16 (13)°. The chiral C atom has a known R configuration, but this cannot be confirmed from this X-ray analysis

Long-Term Cold Acclimation Extends Survival Time at 0°C and Modifies the Metabolomic Profiles of the Larvae of the Fruit Fly Drosophila melanogaster

Drosophila melanogaster is a chill-susceptible insect. Previous studies on this fly focused on acute direct chilling injury during cold shock and showed that lower lethal temperature (LLT, approximately -5°C) exhibits relatively low plasticity and that acclimations, both rapid cold hardening (RCH) and long-term cold acclimation, shift the LLT by only a few degrees at the maximum. We found that long-term cold acclimation considerably improved cold tolerance in fully grown third-instar larvae of D. melanogaster. A comparison of the larvae acclimated at constant 25°C with those acclimated at constant 15°C followed by constant 6°C for 2 d (15°C→6°C) showed that long-term cold acclimation extended the lethal time for 50% of the population (Lt(50)) during exposure to constant 0°C as much as 630-fold (from 0.137 h to 86.658 h). Such marked physiological plasticity in Lt(50) (in contrast to LLT) suggested that chronic indirect chilling injury at 0°C differs from that caused by cold shock. Long-term cold acclimation modified the metabolomic profiles of the larvae. Accumulations of proline (up to 17.7 mM) and trehalose (up to 36.5 mM) were the two most prominent responses. In addition, restructuring of the glycerophospholipid composition of biological membranes was observed. The relative proportion of glycerophosphoethanolamines (especially those with linoleic acid at the sn-2 position) increased at the expense of glycerophosphocholines.Third-instar larvae of D. melanogaster improved their cold tolerance in response to long-term cold acclimation and showed metabolic potential for the accumulation of proline and trehalose and for membrane restructuring

Analysis of the effectiveness of the penalty kick in "the Champions League" in 2009-2019

    No full text
In this bachelor's thesis, we analyse all penalty kicks that were played in the UEFA Champions League over a 10-year period (2009-2019) in terms of performance efficiency. The aim of our work is to analyse and compare penalty kicks using rating scales in the UEFA Champions League during a period of 10 seasons. The partial aim is to create a profile of the so-called ideal shooter. In the analytical part of the work, we look at the historical and organisational analysis of the penalty kick and the basic characteristics of football, as well as the structure of football competitions. In the synthetic part of the work, we then analysed all the recorded penalty kicks from a total of 1250 matches and created rating scales and categories according to different specificities. Based on the data collected, we were also able to create a profile of the so-called ideal shooter. Despite obtaining successful results, we believe that the final values cannot be applied uniformly to all football competitions because of the different quality of players, clubs, competitions, and the uniqueness of this standard situation
