New records of spiders from pond littorals in the Czech Republic

Tmeticus affinis (BLACKWALL, 1855), Tetragnatha shoshone LEVI, 1981, Clubiona juvenis SIMON, 1878, Marpissa Canestrinii NINNI, 1868, and Theridiosoma gemmosum (L. KOCH, 1877) are new records for the Czech Republic. New data about Enoplognatha caricis (FICKERT, 1876), Theridion hemerobium SIMON, 1914, Rugathodes instabilis (O. P. CAMBRIDGE, 1871), Tetragnatha striata L. KOCH, 1862, and Dolomedes plantarius (CLERCK, 1757) are given. The validity of the name Enoplognatha caricis (FICKERT, 1876) is supported

Fast and accurate object detection in high resolution 4K and 8K video using GPUs

Machine learning has celebrated a lot of achievements on computer vision tasks such as object detection, but the traditionally used models work with relatively low resolution images. The resolution of recording devices is gradually increasing and there is a rising need for new methods of processing high resolution data. We propose an attention pipeline method which uses two staged evaluation of each image or video frame under rough and refined resolution to limit the total number of necessary evaluations. For both stages, we make use of the fast object detection model YOLO v2. We have implemented our model in code, which distributes the work across GPUs. Parking building

Cílem práce je návrh nosné ocelové konstrukce parkovacího domu v centru města Brna. Půdorysné rozměry objektu jsou 29 x 77,5 m s dispozičně volným rohem o rozměrech 5 x 12,5 m v jihovýchodní části konstrukce. Konstrukce parkovacího domu má 4 nadzemní podlaží stejného půdorysného uspořádání a 5. nadzemní podlaží, které zaujímá prostor pouze ve střední části konstrukce. Výška jednotlivých podlaží je 3,5 m. Celková výška konstrukce v místě zastřešeného 5. nadzemního podlaží je 17,5 m, v místě bez zastřešení 14 m. Hlavní nosnou částí je prostorový skelet o 7 polích v podélném směru a 5 polích v příčném směru. Prostorový skelet je tvořen sloupy a podélnými a příčnými průvlaky. Mezi podélnými průvlaky jsou kloubově uloženy spřažené ocelobetonové stropnice. Konstrukce parkovacího domu je řešena ve 3 variantách, v nichž je uvažováno rozdílné uložení sloupů na základovou konstrukci a rozdílné uložení příčných a podélných průvlaků na sloupy. Výsledná varianta byla podrobně zpracována. Opláštění střechy bude provedeno pomocí sendvičových panelů a opláštění stěn konstrukce bude provedeno pomocí skleněných tabulí. Výpočet je proveden pomocí programu Scia Engineer 2014 a ručním výpočtem.The aim of the thesis is to design a steel structure of the parking building in the center of Brno. The plan dimensions of the building are 29 x 77.5 m including a missing corner of the dimensions 5 x 12.5 m in the southeast part of the construction. The construction of the parking building has 4 above-ground floors with the same layout and the fifth floor situated only in the middle section of the construction. Each floor is 3.5 m high. The total height of the construction in the place of the roofed part of the fifth floor is 17.5 m, otherwise 14 m. A spatial frame is the main load-bearing part consisting of 7 fields in the longitudinal direction and 5 fields in the transversal direction. The spatial frame is formed of columns and longitudinal and transversal girders. Steel-concrete composite joists are pin-supported among longitudinal girders. The construction of the parking building is solved in three versions considering different placing of columns to the base structure and different placing of longitudinal and transversal girders to the columns. The resulting draft is worked out in details. Roof cladding will be made using sandwich panels and walls will be made out of glass panels. The calculation has been done in Scia Engineer 2014 program and by manual calculation.

Steel Structure of the Building

Diplomová práce se zabývá návrhem nosné ocelové vícepodlažní konstrukce vědecké instituce v Brně. Práce obsahuje tři rozdílné variantní řešení v předběžném návrhu a pro zvolené řešení je zpracována technická zpráva, statický výpočet, výkaz materiálu a výkresy.The Master’s thesis concerns a design of load bearing multi-storey steel construction of scientific institution in Brno. This thesis contains three different solutions of a draft proposal and for the elected solution is processed technical report, structural analysis, material list and drawings.

Memory monument from prefabricated elements

Bakalářská práce se zabývá návrhem železobetonového památníku. Památník se skládá z 11 prefabrikovaných segmentů umístěných od sebe v pravidelných rozestupech. Segmenty mají stejný vnější rozměr, ale liší se velikostí vnitřních otvorů. Pro osobu stojící uvnitř tak vytváří dynamický interiér. Segmenty jsou vetknuty do prefabrikovaného základu tvaru hřebene. Cílem této práce je návrh každého segmentu a základu stavby. Součástí jsou taktéž výkresy výztuže vybraných segmentů a výztuže základu, výkres dobetonávky a výkres tvaru segmentů.The bachelor‘s thesis is concerned with a design of a monument which is made of reinforced concrete. The monument is composed of eleven prefabricated segments located from each other in regular distances. The segments have got the same external dimension but they differ in the dimension of internal openings which create a dynamic interior for a person standing inside of the structure. The segments are fixed to the prefabricated comb-shaped foundation. The aim of this thesis is to design each segment and the foundation of the construction. It also includes the technical drawings of reinforcement of the selected segments, the foundation, drawing of the concrete connection of the foundations and drawing of the shape of the segments.
