In this article, it is shown how to obtain objects called Eichler integrals in the mathematical literature that can be used for calculating scattering amplitudes in String Theory. These Eichler integrals are also new examples of Eichler integrals with poles.Comment: LaTeX, 16 page

Actions to be taken in Mexico towards education 4.0 and society 5.0

Education in Mexico has not evolved in the way it is taught and evaluated. In the historical moment that postmodernism enters, it has not been possible to adapt to Information and Communication Technologies(ICT), or rapid technological innovation, or changes and trends in the industry, to the sharing economy or the rise of distance races. In its analysis, an essential deficiency is detected in the current education models, and it is detected that educational freedom is nil or scarce, which has led to poor student performance, high youth unemployment, which cause severe social problems and the economy of the economy. The current government is working closely with the private sector to connect education and promote employment. It is necessary to grant public schools more autonomy, freedom and responsibility. This paper explains how to act so that Mexico can adapt education 4.0 with solid steps to reach society 5.0

Phytoplankton productivity in the Barra de Navidad coastal lagoon on the Pacific coast of Mexico

This research question the human aging while universal experience. Using the social construcionism, the waiting room group is understood as a discursive production, having the language as a main point of social practices and focalizing a relational perspective in the producing process of the world meanings. Thinking about this psychological intervention, we have the purpose of describing the meaning production process about the human aging in this context. Ten waiting room groups, recorded and transcribed, were analyzed, what made possible the selection of one of them for extensive analyses. Their analysis show that in this conversation the aging experience like an individual experience is being changed by the speakers as social interaction, pointing to actives positions on healthy life quality aging production. The speakers construct several meanings about aging, talk about themselves in their daily relationships, creating the possibility for new descriptions about themselves as elders in this interactive context.

Gravitational instability of a dilute fully ionized gas in the presence of the Dufour effect

The gravitational instability of a fully ionized gas is analyzed within the framework of linear irreversible thermodynamics. In particular, the presence of a heat flux corresponding to generalized thermodynamic forces is shown to affect the properties of the dispersion relation governing the stability of this kind of system in certain problems of interest.Comment: 8 pages, 2 figure

Identification of critical variables in conventional transformers in distribution networks

    Get PDF
Transformers are essential equipment to the operation of electrical power systems, a failure causes the lack of electricity supply to end-users, affecting the operating indicators of companies in the distribution sector. The investigation presents an identification of the faults in transformers through a fishbone diagram, an evaluation of the variables that cause the identified failure using the cross-impact matrix method and a proposal to improve the performance. The results will enable a plan to be developed for taking action with monitoring plans to avoid faults that could put the electrical asset at risk and achieve a better performance of the distribution network

Astrocytes regulate brain extracellular pH via a neuronal activity-dependent bicarbonate shuttle

    Get PDF
Brain cells continuously produce and release protons into the extracellular space, with the rate of acid production corresponding to the levels of neuronal activity and metabolism. Efficient buffering and removal of excess H+ is essential for brain function, not least because all the electrogenic and biochemical machinery of synaptic transmission is highly sensitive to changes in pH. Here, we describe an astroglial mechanism that contributes to the protection of the brain milieu from acidification. In vivo and in vitro experiments conducted in rodent models show that at least one third of all astrocytes release bicarbonate to buffer extracellular H+ loads associated with increases in neuronal activity. The underlying signalling mechanism involves activity-dependent release of ATP triggering bicarbonate secretion by astrocytes via activation of metabotropic P2Y1 receptors, recruitment of phospholipase C, release of Ca2+ from the internal stores, and facilitated outward HCO3− transport by the electrogenic sodium bicarbonate cotransporter 1, NBCe1. These results show that astrocytes maintain local brain extracellular pH homeostasis via a neuronal activity-dependent release of bicarbonate. The data provide evidence of another important metabolic housekeeping function of these glial cells
