IMPROVING STUDENTS’ ABILITY IN READING COMPREHENSION THROUGH THE INTERACTIVE COMPENSATORY MODEL
This research aimed at improving the students' reading comprehension of the first grade at Wahdah Islamiyah Makassar junior high school, which contains 25 students used a learning model called the interactive compensatory model. This research used Classroom Action Research (CAR) with two cycles. Each cycle consists of steps to planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The data had collected by the form of quantitative and qualitative data. Quantitative data obtained by analyzing the observation checklist result, while quantitative data obtained through score processing used a particular formula. This research’s findings proved that applied the instructional model called the interactive compensatory model successfully improved students' learning abilities, especially in reading comprehension. The test results in the first cycle, was 1,660 or 66,4% and increased to 2,120 or 84,8%. In the first cycle, 14 students (56%) out of 25 students got the point under the minimum standard score (KKM), while those who reached the minimum standard (KKM) score were only 44%. However, after being given treatment in the second cycle, it was seen that 100% of the students exceed the minimum standard (KKM) score. The observation checklist results showed that students’ participation in the first Cycle increased in the second cycle. They became more active and dared to expressed their opinion
Flavour Components and the Effects of Organic Acids Washing on the Earthy Flavour and Physical Attributes of the Black Tilapia (O. Mossambica) Fillets
The selection and training of panelists for identification of earthy attributes in
wild black tilapia was carried out using triangle test and Quantitative Descriptive
Analysis procedures. Training was carried out in three stages. The first stage was the
introduction to fish flavour characteristics while the second and third stages were the
familiarization and discrimination stages, respectively. Earthy was the main
characteristic for odour and flavour in freshwater fish, while shellfish, briny and sour
characteristics were described for marine fish. The threshold level for geosmin was
0.lµgml-1. Earthy flavour attribute was more easily detected as compared to aroma
or aftertaste attributes.
The volatile flavour compounds identified in black tilapia from three different
water environments (cultured pond, lake and channel) were aldehydes, ketones,
alcohols, acids and esters, aromatic compounds, furans, cyclic- and hydrocarbons, Ncontaining
compounds and S-containing compounds. 62 compounds were detected
in cultured black tilapia, 139 in black tilapia taken from lake and 89 in black tilapia taken from channel. The major compound identified in all samples was
2,6-bis(tert-butyl)-4-methylphenol. Other abundant compounds were 1 , 1-( 6-hydroxy-
2,5-benzofurandiyl)bis-ethanone, butyl 2-methylpropyl 1 ,2-benzenedicarboxylate,
hexadecanal, heptadecane and benzothiazole. The earthy flavoured compounds,
geosmin and isobomeol were found in trace amount in all samples.
Acetic, citric and tartaric acids washings at 0.125, 0.25, 0.5, 1 and 2%
respectively, were carried out to determine their effects on the removal of the earthy
odour and the physical attributes (hardness and colour) of black tilapia fillets.
Washing with 0.5% citric acid resulted in fillets with acceptable hardness and colour
characteristics and showed a minimum denatured muscle zone. Washing with 0.5%
tartaric acid decreased (P<0.01) the hardness, while washing with 0. 5 % acetic acid
increased the whiteness (P<0.05) and imparted acetic acid smell. The sensory scores
showed that washing with 0.5% acetic, citric and tartaric acid respectively decreased
75, 65 and 48% of earthy odour from uncooked black tilapia fillets
Factors consumers in Halalan Tayyiban among students in UiTM Puncak Alam / Nurul Izzah Mahbob.
Halal food is not the main choice for Malay or Islamic Consumers. This is because they are less aware of the concept of halal and less concerned about their food. Most Muslim buyer still give priority to other aspects such as price, taste, packaging and quality. In addition, Muslim consumers still have a poor understanding of the importance of using halal products and goods. This research aim is to analyse the factors of student in Uitm Puncak Alam not choose in Halalan Tayyiban products, to know what the concept of the Consumer in Halalan Tayyiban is, and to study the level understanding of the student in Uitm Puncak Alam about Halalan Tayyiban in their food selection. This research is used quantitative method. Thus, survey questionnaire used to achieve objective for this research, which is to know the understanding and the factors consumers in Halalan Tayyiban among the students in Uitm Puncak Alam. The result of the study also suggested that a give student understanding concept of Halal and illegal with promotes activities, or programs related to halal nutrition and prevents them from consuming obscure foods with no legal halal status. Some of the activities that be done such as lectures or pamphlets being distributed to teens and gives talk to them about the information of health halal nutrition food
Integrating Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) with Knowledge Management (KM) through HSE UTP Lessons Learned System
The complexity of the enterprise risk management is identifying and coordinating risk processes actions across organization. Moreover, risk failures is not being widely disseminated in order to improve practices and tighten policies. The merging of the two disciplines of Knowledge Management (KM) and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) is foreseen to bring greater value in evaluating and assessing risk. Health Safety and Environment Lessons Learned System (HSELLS) is a project that aims to develop an online, document management application in communicating the risk throughout organization. This paper seeks to contribute to the emergence of research on Enterprise Risk Management by applying KM tool to support risk monitoring and review process. The paper will demonstrates the use of Lessons Learned System as part of KM technology via a case study of HSE UTP, to reduce time, improve decision making, and increase productivity and reliability. A system development life cycle is used to develop HSELLS. At the end of the project, a working prototype is developed to create a platform for user to share and disseminate risk throughout the organization
DEVELOPMENT FOUR-TIER DIAGNOSTIC TEST INSTRUMENTS ON NEWTON’S LAW OF GRAVITATION CONCEPT
Misconception is knowledge or idea that not in accordance with the scientific knowledge or not agreed upon by scientists. Misconceptions can be found on the concepts of physics, including Newtons Law of Gravitation concept. This paper aim is to develop a four-tier diagnostic test instrument for Newtons Law of Gravitation concept. This developed instrument is amount to 18 questions which contained concept, Including sub material Mass and Weight, Gravitational Field, etc. The type of this research is development research using the ADDIE model. The result of the calculation shows that the developed instrument was declared valid by two validator lecturers with a validity level between (83–95) %. The result of the instrument’s external validity which was tested on 20 students was obtained 15 questions valid and reliable.Keywords: four-tier diagnostic test, misconceptions, Newtons Law of Gravitatio

Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) Berbantuan Kahoot untuk Meningkatkan Keaktifan Belajar Siswa Kelas XI SMA Al Islam 1 Surakarta
This research is a type of Classroom Action Research (CAR). This research lasted two cycles. Each cycle consists of 4 stages, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were students of class XI SMA Al Islam 1 Surakarta. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that through the application of the Kahoot-assisted Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) cooperative learning model, it was possible to increase the activeness of student learning from pre-action, cycle I and cycle II. This was proven during the pre-action the percentage of student learning activeness was 31.57%. In cycle I the application of the Kahoot-assisted Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) cooperative learning model increased student activity with a percentage of 47.36%, then in cycle II there was an increase in the percentage of student learning activeness of 78.94%. Conclusion Classroom Action Research (PTK) by applying the Kahoot-assisted Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) cooperative learning model can increase the learning activity of class XI students at SMA Al Islam 1 Surakarta
The Effectiveness of Tornado Physics Enrichment Book to Increase Science Literacy of High School Students
Scientific literacy is a need and learning goal in the industrial era 4.0. Indonesia's low scientific literacy is an urgent problem. There are many ways that can be used in learning to hone scientific literacy, including choosing sources and teaching materials that are integrated with natural disaster environmental. In this research, scientific literacy was sharpened in physics learning through the use of a knowledge enrichment book entitled Tornado. In this enrichment book, the discussion of tornadoes is presented from a physics perspective including the concepts of energy, heat, fluid dynamics and global warming. The aim of this research is to increase students' scientific literacy by using physics enrichment books on the theme of the tornado disaster. This research uses an experimental research method in the form of a quasi-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The results of the trial of 60 students from SMAN 13 Padang and SMAN 2 Padang Panjang showed that the use of enrichment books was able to increase students' scientific literacy, with an average pretest scientific literacy of 46 and an average posttest of 87, and an N-gain of 0.76. These results indicate that the use of tornado physics enrichment books is effective in increasing students' scientific literacy

The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of population, unemployment and education level on economic growth in Java Island Province. The research used is quantitative research with multiple linear regression analysis methods. The data used in this research is secondary data which is a combination of cross section data from 6 provinces on the island of Java and time series data for 2013-2022. In this research, the tests used were the CE, FE, RE, Chow, Hausman, LM Breusch-Pagan tests. And the best model is Random Effect. The results of this research show that population size and education level have a positive and significant influence on economic growth on the island of Java. Meanwhile, the number of unemployed has a negative and significant influence on economic growth on the island of Java

يهدف هذا البحث إلى تحليل استراتيجيات تعلم اللغة العربية على قناة اليوتيوب "Arabiyya dan Qur’an " التي يديرها الشيخ عبد الرحمن حسن علي حفيظ الله. طريقة البحث المستخدمة هي منهج وصفي نوعي، حيث يتم الحصول على البيانات الأولية من محتوى القناة والمقابلات مع أصحاب الحسابات. وتظهر نتائج البحث أن الاستراتيجيات المطبقة تشمل نهجا متعدد اللغات، واستخدام صور وصوت مثيرة للاهتمام، وأساليب التكرار، والتركيز على مهارات اللغة العربية الأساسية. تتضمن استراتيجية التعلم تعلم المفردات والتركيب والحديث، والتي يتم تقديمها بشكل منهجي ومنظم. أثبت استخدام منصة اليوتيوب كوسيلة تعليمية فعاليته في تحسين فهم اللغة العربية وإتقانها بين المبتدئين. وميزة هذه الاستراتيجية هي قدرتها على توفير الوصول إلى المواد التي تكون سهلة الفهم وعملية، فضلا عن زيادة الدافع للتعلم من خلال أساليب تفاعلية ومثيرة للاهتمام.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi pembelajaran bahasa Arab pada channel YouTube "Arabiyya dan Qur’an" yang dikelola oleh Syaikh Abdelrahman Hassan Ali Hafidzahullah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, dengan data primer diperoleh dari konten channel dan wawancara dengan pemilik akun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi yang diterapkan mencakup pendekatan multibahasa, penggunaan visual dan audio menarik, metode pengulangan, serta fokus pada keterampilan dasar bahasa Arab. Strategi pembelajaran tersebut meliputi pembelajaran mufradat, tarkib, dan muhadasah, yang disampaikan secara sistematis dan terstruktur. Penggunaan platform YouTube sebagai media pembelajaran terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman dan penguasaan bahasa Arab di kalangan pemula.
