Digital teknik och game based learning samt gamification i de yngre åldrarna : En intervjustudie

The aim of the study was to explore preschool teachers and preschool pre-service teachers approaches to gamification, game based learning and digital technology in early childhood education. The theoretical framework in the study is based on Mishra and Koehler's (2006) Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge (TPACK) theory. The method for the study was individual interviews and focus group interview. The results show that the area is relatively unknown to the participants in the study, as their focus when using digital technology is on documentation of preschool activities as well as searching for facts about various subject areas. Personal attitudes and values are of great importance for how digital technology is used in early childhood education. The results also show a lack of knowledge in teaching with digital technology, game based learning and gamification. Further research in the area is needed to support active preschool teachers to develop their didactic approach and to find ways to work with digital technology, game based learning and gamification

Samgåenden -uppköp och fusioner ur en skatterättslig synvinkel

Varje år genomförs ett antal omstruktureringar inom den svenska affärsvärlden. Ett samgående mellan två eller flera företag kan ske både genom ett uppköp och genom en fusion. Fusioner är enligt idag gällande lagstiftning endast praktiskt genomförbara då det uteslutande är svenska bolag inblandade. Svensk civilrättslig lagstiftning som reglerar gränsöverskridande fusioner finns inte. Detta leder till att koncernstrukturer bildas då ett svenskt företag går samman med ett utländskt. Skattereglerna på området omfattar däremot även gränsöverskridande fusioner, regelverket tillämpas dock endast vid rent nationella och rent utländska fusioner med anledning av den civilrättsliga regleringen. Vid ett samgående sker ofta ett andelsbyte på ägarnivå. Andelsbyten och gräsöverskridande fusioner behandlas i fusionsdirektivet. Syftet med uppsatsen ”Samgåenden – uppköp och fusioner ur en skatterättslig synvinkel” är att reda ut de beskattningskonsekvenser ett samgående kan få, samt hur detta rent praktiskt kan gå till. Uppsatsen är främst inriktad mot samgåenden inom banksfären. Utöver nu gällande lagstiftning på området, främst skatterättslig men även viss civilrättslig, tas även utsikter till ändringar och nya möjligheter genom framtida reglering upp

Teknik i förskolan - några förskollärare om teknikanvändningen i verksamheten

Sammanfattning Den tekniska utvecklingen i dagens samhälle går allt fortare. Vi talar ofta om den tekniska kompetens som man förväntas besitta idag. Samhället har en förväntning på individen att klara av allt mer teknik. Det kan handla om att använda GPS som standard i våra bilar, och för barnens del allt mer digitala och tekniska leksaker, samt miljöer. Med denna förväntan undrar vi om det går att förbereda och rusta barnen tidigt i förskolan för den allt mer föränderliga miljö inom teknikområdet som de kommer att möta inom en snar framtid. Denna intervjustudies syfte var att undersöka i vilken utsträckning teknik används i förskolans inom- och utomhusverksamhet. Vad kan påverka användandet av teknik i verksamheten? Är det praktiska förutsättningar, materialet eller inställningen hos pedagogen? Till hjälp för att genomföra vår studie skapade vi först ett arbetsmaterial i form av lärarhandledningar, som innehöll beskrivningar på några enkla övningar. Dessa delades ut i samband med intervjuer. Inspirationen till lärarhandledningarna fick vi ifrån vår utbildning och litteratur, men även ifrån våra egna familjer. Intervjuerna genomfördes med sju förskollärare, inriktningen på deras utbildning var inom matematik, teknik och naturvetenskap. Som ett komplement till intervjuerna sändes en enkät ut via e-post till samtliga deltagare, den gav oss möjlighet att fastställa om materialet blivit använt och i vilken utsträckning. Handledningar, intervjuer och enkät fick ligga som grund till våra frågor gällande inställningen hos pedagogen, praktiska förutsättningar och teknikverksamheten med barnen. Efter att ha sammanställt utskrifter av intervjuer och enkäter ser vi som resultat att praktiska förutsättningar och tillgång till material/läromedel påverkar användandet av teknik i verksamheten. Men den största betydelsen när det gäller teknikverksamhet i förskolan har pedagogens erfarenheter och inställning till teknik

A Comparison of Rule-based Analysis with Regression Methods in Understanding the Risk Factors for Study Withdrawal in a Pediatric Study

Regression models are extensively used in many epidemiological studies to understand the linkage between specific outcomes of interest and their risk factors. However, regression models in general examine the average effects of the risk factors and ignore subgroups with different risk profiles. As a result, interventions are often geared towards the average member of the population, without consideration of the special health needs of different subgroups within the population. This paper demonstrates the value of using rule-based analysis methods that can identify subgroups with heterogeneous risk profiles in a population without imposing assumptions on the subgroups or method. The rules define the risk pattern of subsets of individuals by not only considering the interactions between the risk factors but also their ranges. We compared the rule-based analysis results with the results from a logistic regression model in The Environmental Determinants of Diabetes in the Young (TEDDY) study. Both methods detected a similar suite of risk factors, but the rule-based analysis was superior at detecting multiple interactions between the risk factors that characterize the subgroups. A further investigation of the particular characteristics of each subgroup may detect the special health needs of the subgroup and lead to tailored interventions
