Pengaruh Harga Diskon, Kualitas Produk, Citra Merek, dan Iklan terhadap Minat Beli Celana Jeans Levi's di Surabaya

The aim of this study is to test the effect of Discounted Price, Product Quality, Brand Image, and Advertising on Purchase Intention of Levi's Pants Jeans in Surabaya. This study used the independent variables such as discount price, product quality, brand image and advertising while the dependent variable is Purchase Intention. It took 82 respondents that were selected by using Judgment Sampling Technique. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regressions and using analysis tools of SPSS version 16.00. The results showed that Discounted Price, Product Quality, Brand Image and Advertising have positive and significant effect on Purchase Intention. The implication was that jeans product with good quality and good image, while need to be advertised need to be leveraged with pricing strategy leading to reducing price

Pengaruh Senyawa Pengotor Ca Dan Mg Pada Efisiensi Penurunan Kadar U Dalam Air Limbah

PENGARUH SENYAWA PENGOTOR Ca DAN Mg PADA EFISIENSI PENURUNAN KADAR U DALAM AIR LIMBAH. Telah dilakukan penelitian pengolahan air limbah uranium yang mengandung senyawa pengotor Ca dan Mg dengan pertukaran ion. Penelitian secara eksperimental ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan kolom gelas berdiameter 1,1 cm yang diisi dengan 4 gram resin jenis Dowex 50W-X8(Na). Umpan yang berupa larutan uranium berkadar 100 ppm dengan pH= 4 dan pengotor Ca serta Mg yang kadarnya bervariasi dari 25, 50, 75 dan 100 ppm dialirkan ke dalam kolom resin dengan pompa masterflex dengan kecepatan alir tetap 2,5 ml/menit. Kadar efluen uranium yang keluar dari kolom resin dianalisis menggunakan spektrofotometer dengan memakai arsenazo sebagai pengompleks. Dari data kadar U yang masuk dan keluar dari kolom resin dapat ditentukan nilai penurunan efisiensi kadar U. Dari data penelitian diperoleh bahwa nilai penurunan efisiensi pemisahan kadar U yang dicapai dengan pengotor Ca dari 99,1% ke 92% sedangkan untuk pengotor Mg dari 97,8 % ke 94%

Extensive ileocaval and renal vein thrombosis mimicking acute pyelonephritis

Renal vein thrombosis (RVT) is a rare clinical diagnosis which is the presence of thrombus in the major renal veins or its tributaries. Major causes include nephrotic syndrome, trauma, malignancy, hypercoagulable states. Presentation could be unilateral or bilateral flank pain and/or haematuria. Symptoms could be confused with nephrolithiasis. A normal ultrasonography (USG) in the initial stage could delay the diagnosis and hence propensity for dreaded complications such as loss of renal function and pulmonary embolism. Anticoagulation is the mainstay of therapy for RVT. Review of the literature reveals that thrombolytic therapy can also be used in patients with the most severe disease. Here we present a case of a young male, who initially suspected to have acute pyelonephritis, turned out to have extensive Iliocaval and unilateral RVT secondary to factor V leiden mutation who underwent catheter directed thrombolysis and mechanical thrombectomy

Model Connected Dalam Pembelajaran IPS Berkarakter

The purposes of this research were to produce the Connected Model in social studies that can be used as an alternative to improve the learning outcomes of students in junior high, connected model to analyze the effectiveness of testing in social studies. This research method uses Research and Development (R&D). Results showed that connected model product development in social studies learning was developed by using the research design development adopted the steps from Dick and Carey instructional design model, and then tested with the results of the development steps by Borg and Gall development research, conducted through 6 stages, namely: making needs analysis, planning or product development, or expert review of the expert validation, product revision, the test is limited, and, so models and reporting. Connected Model in the IPS learning effectively used in teaching social studies.Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan Model Connected pada mata pelajaran IPS yang dapat dijadikan alternatif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik di SMP, menganalisis pengujian efektifitas Model Connected pada mata pelajaran IPS. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan Research and Development (R&D). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengembangan produk model Connected dalam pembelajaran IPS dikembangkan menggunakan model rancangan penelitian pengembangan mengadopsi langkah-langkah Dick and Carey sebagai model desain pembelajaran, kemudian hasil pengembangan diuji cobakan dengan langkah-langkah penelitian pengembangan Borg and Gall, yang dilaksanakan melalui 6 tahap, yaitu: membuat analisis kebutuhan, perencanaan atau pengembangan produk, validasi ahli atau reviu ahli, revisi produk, uji terbatas, dan, model jadi dan pelaporan.
