Indonesia covers a wide area that is usually called ‘dari Sabang sampai Merauke\u27 (from Sabang in westernmost point to Merauke to easternmost point) as mentioned in lyrics of a national folk song sang by students from elementary to high school. In its thousand islands live communities speaking various languages, living different cultures, characters and traditions that have become ethnical identities. The education and culture in a community are implemented from older to younger generations within a wide range of time and preserved well by the descendants. Indonesian characters are identical with oriental culture where people usually live in groups, mutual cooperation (‘gotong royong\u27), helpful and religious. Religion, education, culture, and tradition become basic norms is human society that have to be preserved and improved by individual, family, communities, and government to live peacefully. Aceh province, who has implemented Islamic law called sharia since a decade ago, have various art performances, languages, folk dance, traditional costume, and traditional foods that represent Aceh Islamic tradition that is harmonious with its slogan Mecca\u27s Veranda (Serambi Mekkah). The effort to implement character\u27s based curriculum in all schools in Aceh is a good chance to raise children to become adult that have moral ground and intelligent who understand technology and faith in facing globalization. By integrating religious and traditional values in education, we are expecting the students to have those good life skills in living social life in Islamic way

CP-odd Phase Correlations and Electric Dipole Moments

We revisit the constraints imposed by electric dipole moments (EDMs) of nucleons and heavy atoms on new CP-violating sources within supersymmetric theories. We point out that certain two-loop renormalization group corrections induce significant mixing between the basis-invariant CP-odd phases. In the framework of the constrained minimal supersymmetric standard model (CMSSM), the CP-odd invariant related to the soft trilinear A-phase at the GUT scale, theta_A, induces non-trivial and distinct CP-odd phases for the three gaugino masses at the weak scale. The latter give one-loop contributions to EDMs enhanced by tan beta, and can provide the dominant contribution to the electron EDM induced by theta_A. We perform a detailed analysis of the EDM constraints within the CMSSM, exhibiting the reach, in terms of sparticle spectra, which may be obtained assuming generic phases, as well as the limits on the CP-odd phases for some specific parameter points where detailed phenomenological studies are available. We also illustrate how this reach will expand with results from the next generation of experiments which are currently in development.Comment: 31 pages, 21 eps figures; v2: additional remarks on 2-loop threshold corrections and references added; v3: typos corrected, to appear in Phys. Japanese hole or Lubang Japang (Minang language designation) is one of the attractions that exist in the area of West Sumatra exactly in the middle of the park in Sianok canyon panorama below the town of Bukittinggi. Japang hole has a length of 1400 m and winding. The tunnel is located approximately two meters below the ground surface Bukittinggi. Japang tunnel or hole is a long historic tunnel for Indonesia in general because Japang hole is a foxhole or Japanese soldiers hiding place in the face of war. Japang holes built with the purpose of defense interests of the Japanese army in World War II and the Greater East Asia War. The purpose of this study was (1) To find out when the Japanese hole was made, (2) To know how chronological manufacture Japanese hole in Bukittinggi, (3) To find out who is involved in the manufacture of Japanese hole in Bukittinggi (4) For megetahui how the role of the people Indonesia in the manufacture of Japanese hole, (5) To know how to influence Japanese hole to Bukittinggi. This research method is the historical method or methods of history. The place is the town of Bukittinggi research that one historical object Japanese hole. When the study for 4 months, starting from the research proposal seminar continued with a thesis to graduate exam. Data collection techniques include five techniques namely engineering literature, technical documentation, interview techniques, observation techniques and data analysis techniques. The results of this study are Japang hole he made this Bukittinggi has two versions, the version of the Japanese officers and one version of Indonesian workers in London who is our fighters who live in Bukittinggi Agam. Japang hole is in the road near the canyon Sianok Panorama is a strategic place for the Japanese. Underground tunnel (Lubang Japang in Panorama) This is the result of the excavation of the workers who were deployed hundreds of numbers. Soil excavated to a depth of 1,400 meters and former dig soil dumped into the canyon which is essentially a very deep depth. At that time the excavation carried out on the orders of Lt. Moritake Tanabe order for the protection of war

Tradition is a custom made by a group of people passed down from generation to generation and still be implemented until today. Tradition can not be separated from culture, because the value of the cultural system is the highest and most abstract level of custom. The tradition of awarding titles to sumando is a tradition performed by the Minangkabau community in the city of Bukittinggi, this tradition is done to distinguish men who are married to unmarried men in Minangkabau. This study aims to determine the origin of the awarding of degrees, the process of granting titles, the benefits of the title and the role of the types of sumando in Minangkabau. The theory used in this research is the theory of culture, tradition, customs, and marriage. The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive approach. This research is located in Bukittinggi City. The techniques used in this research are observation, interview, documentation and literature techniques. The results of this study suggest that a Minang man who gets married is given the title by his family for his daily vocation in his wife\u27s neighborhood. The title will continue to apply as long as they are still husband and wife in case of divorce then the title will no longer apply in the family environment

All unitary cubic curvature gravities in D dimensions

We construct all the unitary cubic curvature gravity theories built on the contractions of the Riemann tensor in D -dimensional (anti)-de Sitter spacetimes. Our construction is based on finding the equivalent quadratic action for the general cubic curvature theory and imposing ghost and tachyon freedom, which greatly simplifies the highly complicated problem of finding the propagator of cubic curvature theories in constant curvature backgrounds. To carry out the procedure we have also classified all the unitary quadratic models. We use our general results to study the recently found cubic curvature theories using different techniques and the string generated cubic curvature gravity model. We also study the scattering in critical gravity and give its cubic curvature extensions.Comment: 24 pages, 1 figure, v2: A subsection on cubic curvature extensions of critical gravity is added, v3: The part regarding critical gravity is revised. An advanced method using block backward differentiation formula (BBDF) is introduced with efficient strategy in choosing the step size and order of the method. Variable step and variable order block backward differentiation formula (VSVO-BBDF) approach is applied throughout the numerical computation. The stability regions of the VSVO-BBDFmethod are investigated and presented in distinct graphs. The improved performances in terms of accuracy and computation time are presented in the numerical results with different sets of test problems. Comparisons are made between the proposed method and MATLAB’s suite of ordinary differential equations (ODEs) solvers, namely, ode15s and ode23s

Essential minerals are those that are necessary for normal physiological and biological functions of human body. They act as catalysts such that only trace amount are necessary for cellular function. The study analyzed nine (9) different sex-drive herbal preparations used in the North-western part of Nigeria for essential minerals using Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometric (AAS) method in order to ascertain relationship between sex-drive and the mineral content of these herbal medicines. The result obtained shows the range of the mean concentration of Fe, Cu, Mn, and Zn to be (231.13-440.64)µg/g, (7.74 - 25.93)µg/g, (14.09 - 59.66)µg/g and (6.86 -74.41)µg/g respectively. The presence of Fe, Cu and Zn indicated the potential role of these herbal preparations in alleviation of sexual dysfunction problems and serves as sex-drivers. The average concentration of Cu and Zn obtained in the samples were above the World Health Organization (WHO) and US Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) permissible limit in herbal drugs as Cu (20ppm) and Zn (50ppm). The consumers’ of these products need to be cautioned otherwise the tendency of overload which will further result to health hazard is certain. Keywords: Herbal medicine, Sex-drive, Essential mineral
