PANDUAN PERENCANAAN KARIER BERBASIS PRINSIP HIDUP TOMA LOA SE BANARI SISWA SMA

The purpose of this study was to produce a description of the content and format of a career planning guide based on the life principles of toma loa se banari that is suitable for helping high school students plan their careers. The method used in this research is research and development using stages from Borg and Gall. The instruments used in this study were (1) expert assessment instruments (2) user assessment instruments and (3) career planning scales. The final result of this research is a product which is a career planning handbook based on the life principle of Toma Loa Se Banari that meets the elements of acceptance consisting of aspects of accuracy, usefulness, worthiness and attractiveness. The results of the effectiveness test conducted at SMA N 1 Tidore City showed that this guide was effective in increasing the career planning of high school students. PREVALENCE OF ACADEMIC STRESS AMONG MEDICAL AND PHARMACEUTICAL STUDENTS

Prevalence of academic stress among university students has been high across the world. Most studies on such topic have been conducted in limited population, particularly in the students of medical faculty and the publicly secular-based university. The present study was carried out on students at the department of medicine and department of pharmacy, the Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, Indonesia. This study was aimed to describe the level of academic stress prevalence among the students as well as its difference based on demographics, including department, gender, and previous education backgrounds. This study involved 72 students as participants. The results indicated that the prevalence of academic stress reached 61% in the medical students and 48.4% in the pharmaceutical students. Meanwhile, there were no significant differences in the level of prevalence in terms of department, gender, and educational background (P > .05). Academic stress was experienced by the students of various departments, from the differing previous education background, i.e., the Public Senior High School (Sekolah Menengah Atas), Islamic Senior High School (Madrasah Aliyah), and Islamic Boarding School (Pesantren), both the males and females. A high prevalence of academic stress among students at the Islamic university should draw more attention and call for special intervention from the unit of guidance and counseling service.  Article visualizations

Pengembangan Modul Latihan Forgiveness untuk Siswa SMA di Kota Malang

This research aims to develop a training modules forgiveness based on the appraisement of experts (reviewers) and high school student's response to the training modules forgiveness that have been developed. This study adapting the model development of Borg and Gall (1983), while the structure of the writing module refers to the guide preparation of module which prepared by the Director General module PMPTK (2008). The results of this study are drafting a training module forgiveness for senior high school students in Malang. Based appraisement materials experts, media specialists, and linguists classified as good, according to school counselors classified very good and yield response of students classified as good. So, that these modules worthy be used in the awarding of guidance services in schools.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul latihan forgiveness berdasarkan penilaian para ahli (reviewer) dan respon siswa SMA terhadap Modul latihan forgiveness yang telah dikembangkan. Penelitian ini mengadaptasi model pengembangan Borg and gall (1983), sedangkan struktur penulisan modul mengacu pada panduan penyusunan modul yang disusun oleh dirjen PMPTK (2008). Abstract: This study investigates the empirical findings on the parenting effects on innovative migrant village children's confidence and academic achievement in Pati. This quasi-experimental research uses a non-equivalent control group design with a 2x2 factorial version. Its subjects were 75 children of Indonesian Migrant workers. The test and non-test data were obtained and analyzed using Manova statistics. Generally, the research results confirm that parenting carries substantial effects on children's confidence and academic achievement.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji temuan empirik tentang pengaruh pola asuh terhadap percaya diri dan prestasi belajar anak desmigratif (Desa Migra Inovatif) Pati. Studi Meaning of Life Siswa SMP di Pondok Pesantren An-Nur II Al Murtadlo Bululawang Kabupaten Malang

Pondok pesantren is one of typical Indonesian Islamic educations, which have a philosophy as a way of life (meaning of life). The meaning of life will underlie the behavior of students in performing daily activities in order to achieve happiness. The aim of this research is to know the meaning of life achievement of the Junior High School students in pondok pesantren An-Nur II Al Murtadlo. This research used descriptive quantitative research design with survey method. The results of research showed that the Junior High School students in pondok pesantren An Nur II Al-Murtadlo have a high meaning of life with 63% percentage. However, there are three sources of value that have different achievement, the highest achievement is the values of experiential of love and religion, which is 37%, the values of attitudinal of striving, which is 34%, and the values of work creativity which is 29%. It can be interpreted that the experiential of love and religion values is the first contribution in the achievement of the meaning of life of the Junior High School students in pondok pesantren An-Nur II Al Murtadlo

ANALISA PENGARUH SULFAMIC ACID DAN CITRIC ACID SEBAGAI PEMBERSIH KERAK TERHADAP KEKUATAN MATERIAL PIPA

Abstract - Pipe or material that are frequently used as industrial facilities eventually would have a performance drop in the form of material strength reduction caused by a lump of crust inside pipe. Crust was caused by fluids that flow through pipe and can be removed using scale removal liquid, by mixing process of some chemicals between sulfamic acid and citric acid that contains high acid that could shed the crust. sulfamic acid and citric acid was known for the ability as metal cleaning. Testing on material was used for determining the material strength value before cleaning using scale removal liquid and after cleaning using scale removal liquid. Testing that are performed are Tensile Test and Bending Test. Tensile Test and Bending Test are included in the categories of DT (Destructive Test) that is the test are performed by damaging the specimen. Tensile are used to see the material strength towards the weight given without causing the material to brake. Meanwhile Bending Test is one of the test to determine the material quality by visual. The results of material testing by bending and tensile tests did not show the difference between the material before cleaning using scale removal liquid with material after cleaning using scale removal liquid. Which in the bending test material before and after cleaning using liquid removal scale are both including acceptable materials according to ASME Sec IX standards, proven by the whole material both before and after not being able to crack. And the tensile test also did not show a significant difference between the material before cleaning using scale removal liquid and material after cleaning using scale removal liquid. The overall result, the process of cleaning the material using scale removal liquid did not affect the strength of the material. &nbsp

Analysis of character values in the Indonesian nation’s motto “Bhinneka Tunggal Ika” through an emancipatory hermeneutical study

Each nation has its motto, "Bhinneka Tunggal Ika" is the motto of the Indonesian nation which first appeared in the Sutasoma Text written by Mpu Tantular. The purpose of this study is to find the character values that exist in the motto. This study uses a hermeneutic approach and follows the research steps of Paul Ricoeur. The primary data of this research is the Sutasoma text which is then analyzed using the stages of emancipatory hermeneutics. The results of the study found six-character values (1) religious, (2) global diversity, (3) mutual cooperation, (4) brave and self-sacrificing, (5) loving, and (6) clever. This finding is beneficial for supporting the policy of the Indonesian government in reformulating the concept of strengthening character education in schools. M3FPolypSegNet: Segmentation Network with Multi-frequency Feature Fusion for Polyp Localization in Colonoscopy Images

Polyp segmentation is crucial for preventing colorectal cancer a common type of cancer. Deep learning has been used to segment polyps automatically, which reduces the risk of misdiagnosis. Localizing small polyps in colonoscopy images is challenging because of its complex characteristics, such as color, occlusion, and various shapes of polyps. To address this challenge, a novel frequency-based fully convolutional neural network, Multi-Frequency Feature Fusion Polyp Segmentation Network (M3FPolypSegNet) was proposed to decompose the input image into low/high/full-frequency components to use the characteristics of each component. We used three independent multi-frequency encoders to map multiple input images into a high-dimensional feature space. In the Frequency-ASPP Scalable Attention Module (F-ASPP SAM), ASPP was applied between each frequency component to preserve scale information. Subsequently, scalable attention was applied to emphasize polyp regions in a high-dimensional feature space. Finally, we designed three multi-task learning (i.e., region, edge, and distance) in four decoder blocks to learn the structural characteristics of the region. The proposed model outperformed various segmentation models with performance gains of 6.92% and 7.52% on average for all metrics on CVC-ClinicDB and BKAI-IGH-NeoPolyp, respectively.Comment: 5pages. 2023 IEEE International Conference on Image Processing (ICIP). The Role of Demographic Characteristics and Spiritual Dimensions in Predicting Empathy: A Study in Muslim Pre-Service Teachers

Although many studies have examined the relationship between spirituality and empathy, very few studies have focused on demographic and spiritual dimensions in influencing empathy for pre-service teachers. This study analyzes the effect of gender, age, and years of formal education on spirituality and empathy and analyzes the influence of the spiritual dimensions on empathy. This research is a cross-sectional study, with 319 Muslim pre-service teachers as respondents. The data collection technique used an online questionnaire adapted from the Spirituality Assessment Scale (SAS) and the Interpersonal Reactivity Index (IRI). The results show that age affects spirituality, while empathy is influenced by age and gender. One unanticipated finding was that years of formal education had no effect on either spirituality or empathy. The most important finding of this study is the higher the level of innerness, the more likely it is to have high empathy. This study's findings are useful as an assessment material and creating counseling designs to increase empathy for pre-service teachers.
