Finite-Dimensional Representations of the Quantum Superalgebra Uq_{q}[gl(2/2)]: II. Nontypical representations at generic qq

The construction approach proposed in the previous paper Ref. 1 allows us there and in the present paper to construct at generic deformation parameter $q$ all finite--dimensional representations of the quantum Lie superalgebra $U_{q}[gl(2/2)]$. The finite--dimensional $U_{q}[gl(2/2)]$-modules $W^{q}$ constructed in Ref. 1 are either irreducible or indecomposible. If a module $W^{q}$ is indecomposible, i.e. when the condition (4.41) in Ref. 1 does not hold, there exists an invariant maximal submodule of $W^{q}$, to say $I_{k}^{q}$, such that the factor-representation in the factor-module $W^{q}/I_{k}^{q}$ is irreducible and called nontypical. Here, in this paper, indecomposible representations and nontypical finite--dimensional representations of the quantum Lie superalgebra $U_{q}[gl(2/2)]$ are considered and classified as their module structures are analized and the matrix elements of all nontypical representations are written down explicitly.Comment: Latex file, 49 page

Irreducible representations of Upq[gl(2/2)]

The two-parametric quantum superalgebra $U_{pq}[gl(2/2)]$ and its representations are considered. All finite-dimensional irreducible representations of this quantum superalgebra can be constructed and classified into typical and nontypical ones according to a proposition proved in the present paper. A randomized controlled trial of a specific reminiscence approach to promote the well-being of nursing home residents with dementia

Background: To date, no firm conclusions can be reached regarding the effectiveness of reminiscence for dementia. Researchers have emphasized that there is an urgent need for more systematic research in the area. Objective and Method: A single-blinded, parallel-groups (one intervention, one comparison, and one no-intervention group) randomized controlled trial (RCT) was adopted to investigate whether a specific reminiscence program leads to higher levels of psychosocial well-being in nursing home residents with dementia. The intervention adopted a life-story approach, while the comparison group provided friendly discussions to control for any changes in outcome as a result of social contacts and attention. The Social Engagement Scale (SES) and Well-being/Ill-being Scale (WIB) were the outcome measures used. The outcomes of the groups were examined with reference to the baseline (T0), immediately (T1), and six weeks (T2) after intervention. The final sample had 101 subjects (control group: n=30; comparison group: n=35; intervention group: n=36). Using multivariate analysis with repeated measures, no significant differences in outcome were found between groups at either T1 or T2. Wilcoxon signed rank tests were performed for each group comparing outcomes between T1 and T0, T2 and T1, and T2 and T0. Significant differences were observed in the intervention group when comparing T1 and T0 WIB (p=.014), but not for the other groups. Conclusion: Although the intervention did not lead to significant differences between the three groups over time, there was a significant improvement in psychosocial well-being for the intervention group.published_or_final_versio

The mean spherical approximation for a dipolar Yukawa fluid

The dipolar hard sphere fluid (DHSF) is a useful model of a polar fluid. However, the DHSF lacks a vapor-liquid transition due to the formation of chain-like structures. Such chains are not characteristic of real polar fluids. A more realistic model of a polar fluid is obtained by adding a Lennard-Jones potential to the intermolecular potential. Very similar results are obtained by adding a Yukawa potential, instead of the Lennard-Jones potential. We call this fluid the dipolar Yukawa fluid (DYF). We show that an analytical solution of the mean spherical approximation (MSA) can be obtained for the DYF. Thus, the DYF has many of the attractive features of the DHSF. We find that, within the MSA, the Yukawa potential modifies only the spherically averaged distribution function. Thus, although the thermodynamic properties of the DYF differ from those of the DHSF, the MSA dielectric constant of the DYF is the same as that of the DHSF. Thermodynamics and structural properties of the dipolar Yukawa fluid

We report computer simulations and a theoretical study of the thermodynamics and structure of a dipolar Yukawa system. A comparison between the analytical mean spherical approximation (MSA) solution, perturbation theory and Monte Carlo simulation data of pressure, internal energy and dielectric constant is given. In the perturbation theory, the MSA solution of hard core Yukawa fluid is used as a reference system. It was found that the MSA solution is reasonable only at lower dipole moments, while the perturbation theory gives good results at low and high values of dipole moment. Liquid-vapor coexistence data of dipolar Yukawa fluid are also obtained by Monte Carlo simulation and by both MSA and perturbation theory. It was found that at high dipole moments the liquid-vapor equilibrium disappears while chain-like structures appear in the low density fluid phase. The appearance of chain-like structures of dipolar Yukawa fluid is discussed in comparison with the Stockmayer fluid. © 1999 American Institute of Physics.published_or_final_versio

The Integration of Javanese Immigrants with Malayan Society in Riau Province: Peace and Cultural Values

Transmigration is outlined in Article 4 of Law No. 15 of 1997 concerning transmigration in Indonesia. There are cases of social conflicts due to cultural differences between indigenous people and migrants, in this case, the Javanese and the Malayan, in Riau Province, one of the transmigration destinations. Practically speaking, this social integration process is tainted by conflict and violence. This study examines the tolerant cultural values of native Malays and Javanese migrants in Riau Province. Acculturation is the taking on or acceptance of one or more cultural traits as a result of coming into contact with two or more different cultural traits that are related to or cross paths with one another. This study used a qualitative research method with a descriptive research design that combined an interviewing strategy with a literature review. The findings of this study suggest that smart government policies and mutual support between the two cultures are key factors in the achievement of cultural inculcation in Riau Province.Keywords: Integration, Javanese, Riau Province, Transmigratio

PROGRAM EVALUATION INVOLVEMENT INDONESIAN NATIONAL ARMED FORCES (TNI) ON MISSION UNITED NATIONS PEACEKEEPING OPERATIONS (UNPKO)

The CIPP model is using on apply qualitative method for the research with consist of four evaluation components: (1) context; (2) input; (3) process; (4) product. The mechanism collecting data were collected through interviews, observations, questionnaires and documentation study. There are three levels of evaluation for judgment each aspect: low, moderate, and high. The summarized results and figured into case-order effect matrix was figure out of the categorization.The results of this research indicates that TNI involvement in mission UNPKO Lebanon, aspire to increase the number of peacekeepers up to 4.000 personnel in the category “highâ€, but still have some minor additional improvement especially on coordination among stake holders. This is because the Results of Context Evaluation has a category of "high" with a scale of assessment "many" (75.3%); the Results of Input Evaluation has a category of "high" with a scale of assessment "moderate" (60.6%); the Results of Process Evaluation has a category of "high" with a scale of assessment "moderate" (65.3%) and the Results of Product Evaluation has a category of "high" with a scale of assessment "moderate" (63.3% ). Pelatihan Lari Kijang Jarak 1 Meter 8 Repetisi 5 Set Meningkatkan Kecepatan Lari Sprint Siswa Putra Kelas VIII SMP Nasional Denpasar Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018

Berdasarkan observasi di lapangan, atlet SMP Nasional Denpasar belum dapat menunjukkan hasil yang maksimal yang disebabkan oleh kurangnya kecepatan lari sprint  dalam atletik. Berdasarkan latar belakang di atas dan untuk lebih meningkatkan prestasi yang dimiliki, maka penulis mencoba melaksanakan penelitian dengan  judul ”Pelatihan lari kijang jarak 1 meter 8 repetisi 5 set meningkatkan kecepatan lari sprint siswa putra kelas VIII SMP Nasional Denpasar Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018“. Populasi yang digunakan adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Nasional Denpasar tahun pelajaran 2017/2018 sebanyak 120 orang. Karena keterbatasan dana, tenaga, dan waktu yang tersedia, untuk itu sampel yang diambil dalam penelitian ini hanya menggunakan 38 orang dengan menggunakan perhitungan rumus Pocock. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelatihan lari kijang jarak 1 meter  8 repetisi 5 set dan pelatihan agility ladder 8 repetisi 5 set sama – sama meningkatkan kecepatan lari sprint. Tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil post test kedua kelompok, tetapi didapatkan hasil bahwa pelatihan lari kijang jarak 1 meter  8 repetisi 5 set lebaik baik dari pada pelatihan agility ladder 8 repetisi 5 set dalam meningkatkan kecepatan lari sprint siswa putra kelas VIII SMP Nasional Denpasar Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018
