Yet, it cannot be denied that some other practices remain place families in harmonious life. Therefore, it must be well comprehended how polygamy should be practiced

    Correlated Multiphoton Holes

We generate bipartite states of light which exhibit an absence of multiphoton coincidence events between two modes amid a constant background flux. These `correlated photon holes' are produced by mixing a coherent state and relatively weak spontaneous parametric down-conversion using a balanced beamsplitter. Correlated holes with arbitrarily high photon numbers may be obtained by adjusting the relative phase and amplitude of the inputs. We measure states of up to five photons and verify their nonclassicality. The scheme provides a route for observation of high-photon-number nonclassical correlations without requiring intense quantum resources.Comment: 4 pages, 3 figures, comments are welcom

Detection of Insecticide Resistance in Aedes Aegypti to Organophosphate in Pulogadung, East Jakarta

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is a major public health problem in Indonesia. Jakarta is a capital city with the highest number of dengue patients. Among sporadic endemic areas in Jakarta, Pulogadung, a district of East Jakarta, is one of endemic areas of this disease. The primary strategy for the control of DHF is based on reducing population densities of the main mosquito vector Aedes aegypti. Organophosphate is an insecticide that has been used for more than 25 years in dengue vector control program. The long term used and sublethal dosage of this insecticide can induce resistance. This laboratory study used microplate test and ELISA reader to determine the increase of alfa- esterase activity in Aedes aegypti larvae for detecting the resistance to organophosphate. Resistance pattern of Ae aegypti to organophosphate insecticide in RW 01 Pulogadung was shown to be: 23% high resistant, 33% medium resistant and 44% sensitive. This result was highly related to local community behavior where we found that the use of insecticide spray by the people was very low (8.8% of the sample). We found that the people who used insecticide spray were only 8.8% of the sample. Therefore, organophosphate still can be used in this area to control the Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever in the future. Based on resistance pattern of Ae aegypti to organophosphate insecticide in RW 01 Pulogadung, we can conclude that organophosphate still can be used in this area to control the Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever in the future

Background: Cervical cancer is a major public health issue. It is the second most common cancer among women in the world, and one of leading cause of death by gynecologic malignant tumor in developing countries. Pap smear has been recognized as an effective strategy for reducing the incidence and mortality rate of cervical cancer. This study aimed to investigate the determinants of Pap smear utilization for cervical cancer early detection in women of reproductive age using path analysis model. Subjects and Method: This was a case-control study conducted in Cilongok and Ajibarang Sub-districts, Banyumas, Central Java, from January 3 to February 3, 2018. A total sample of 200 women reproductive age was selected for this study by fixed disease sampling. The dependent variable was Pap smear utilization. The independent variables were education level, attitude, perception on the quality health care, access to the health center, family support, peer support, and health personnel support. The data were collected by questionnaire and analyzed by path analysis. Results: The use of Pap smear increased with high education (b= 2.63; 95% CI= 1.77 to 3.48 p<0.001), good perception on quality of health care(b= 1.04; 95% CI= 0.22 to 1.86; p= 0.012), positive attitude (b= 1.48; 95% CI= 0.51 to 2.44 p= 0.003), good access to health center (b= 1.02; 95% CI= 0.20 to 1.84 p= 0.015), strong family support (b= 1.29; 95% CI= 0.22 to 2.61; p= 0.029), and strong health personnel support (b= 2.02; 95% CI= 0.60 to 3.45 p= 0.005). The use of Pap smear was indirectly associated with peer support through perception on quality health care. Conclusion: The use of Pap smear increases with education, perception on quality of health care, attitude, access to health center, family support, and health personnel support. Keywords: Pap smear, cervical cancer, education, attitude, perception, family support, peer support, health personnel suppor
