Kemampuan Alokasi Belanja Modal Memoderasi Pengaruh Kinerja Keuangan Daerah pada Indeks Pembangunan Manusia
Regional financial performance, measured by the tax ratio, tax per capita, tax effort, and fiscal space, does not linearly influence the Human Development Index (HDI), but it depends on several contingency factors, one of which is the allocation of capital expenditure. The aim of this research is to understand the role of capital expenditure allocation as the moderator in the effect of regional financial performance on HDI of all districts and city in Bali Province. The context of this research includes eight districts and one city in Bali Province, and was observed during 2008-2013. The saturated sample is used, where the secondary data was obtained from the Bureau of Finance Bali Province and Bureau of Statistics Bali Province. The data was analyzed by several techniques, such as the assumption test, moderated regression analysis, coefficient determination test, F test and t test. The research found that the allocation of capital expenditure moderated the influence of regional financial performance, including the tax ratio, tax effort, and fiscal space, on the HDI. However, the allocation of capital expenditure failed to moderate the tax per capita (regional financial performance) on HDI. The research concludes that the allocation of capital expenditure will weaken the influence of the tax ratio on HDI, will not moderate the influence of tax per capita on HDI, and will enhance the influence of the tax effort and fiscal space on HDI of all districts and city in Bali Province
DETERMINATION OF TOTAL TANIN CONTENTS OF Terminalia Catappa, L. LEAF EXTRACT AND TEST OF ITS ABILITY AS A COMPLEXION AGENT OF Fe (III)
A study of the essential oil content in basil (Ocimum sanctum) and red lemongrass (Cymbopogon nardus L. Rendle) originally grown in Flores island has been conducted. The purpose of this study was to identify the chemotype of the essential oils obtained over stahl distillation using GC-MS. The Ocimum mainly consisted of 55% eugenol following by minor trans-alfa-bergometena, patchulana, and linalool. Meanwhile, the chemotype of the red lemongrass (Cymbopogon nardus L. rendle) were citronellol (22%), citronella, cyclohexamethanol, and viridiflorol
Analysis of the Influence of Socio-Demographic Variables and Some Nutrition and Lifestyle Habits on Beverage Consumption in the Spanish Population
Beverages and drinks play a significant role in maintaining the integral health of individuals.
The aim of this study is to discover the pattern of beverage consumption in different groups of the
Spanish population and to investigate its relationship with other nutritional variables and habits. To
achieve the objectives, an observational, descriptive and cross-sectional study was conducted. For
data collection, a questionnaire was designed and validated that explored different beverage and
food consumption variables as well as socio-demographic and lifestyle variables. The instrument was
disseminated, among the Spanish young adult population, through snowball sampling using social
networks, collecting a sample of 17,541 valid surveys. Bivariate comparative analyses and correlation
analyses were performed, and finally, the principal component analysis (PCA) method was used in
order to study the relationships between variables related to drinking and health. The main results
show significant differences in the pattern of beverage consumption between the socio-demographic
variables of sex, age and educational level, as well as between different areas of Spain, while the
PCA model shows the relationship between the consumption of sugar-sweetened beverages with the
Healthy Nutrition Index of the population and sport practice. Based on the results of the study, the
following conclusions were reached: the beverage consumption pattern of the Spanish population is
affected by socio-demographic variables. Healthier drinking habits affect the nutrition and health of
the population.Nutrición humana y dietétic
Morphological and molecular characterization of two trematode worms in the gastropod Asolene pulchella (Anton, 1859)
Asolene pulchella (Anton, 1859) Asolene pulchella (Caenogastropoda, Ampullariidae) is a native gastropod from La Plata River. In a previous study we reported the presence of parasite forms of Trematoda (Plathyhelminthes) in the digestive gland of adult snails from Regatas Lake (Buenos Aires). In this work identified two parasites with a morphological and molecular approach. The digestive gland of A. pulchella showed a large amount of larval forms (sporocysts and rediae) with internal cercariae in diverse degree of development.Facultad de Ciencias Naturales y Muse

The HSV-1 ICP27 RGG box specifically binds flexible, GC-rich sequences but not G-quartet structures
Herpes simplex virus 1 (HSV-1) protein ICP27, an important regulator for viral gene expression, directly recognizes and exports viral RNA through an N-terminal RGG box RNA binding motif, which is necessary and sufficient for RNA binding. An ICP27 N-terminal peptide, including the RGG box RNA binding motif, was expressed and its binding specificity was analyzed using EMSA and SELEX. DNA oligonucleotides corresponding to HSV-1 glycoprotein C (gC) mRNA, identified in a yeast three-hybrid analysis, were screened for binding to the ICP27 N-terminal peptide in EMSA experiments. The ICP27 N-terminus was able to bind most gC substrates. Notably, the ICP27 RGG box was unable to bind G-quartet structures recognized by the RGG domains of other proteins. SELEX analysis identified GC-rich RNA sequences as a common feature of recognition. NMR analysis of SELEX and gC sequences revealed that sequences able to bind to ICP27 did not form secondary structures and conversely, sequences that were not able to bind to ICP27 gave spectra consistent with base-pairing. Therefore, the ICP27 RGG box is unique in its recognition of nucleic acid sequences compared to other RGG box proteins; it prefers flexible, GC-rich substrates that do not form stable secondary structures
