    Chaos in two black holes with next-to-leading order spin-spin interactions

    We take into account the dynamics of a complete third post-Newtonian conservative Hamiltonian of two spinning black holes, where the orbital part arrives at the third post-Newtonian precision level and the spin-spin part with the spin-orbit part includes the leading-order and next-to-leading-order contributions. It is shown through numerical simulations that the next-to-leading order spin-spin couplings play an important role in chaos. A dynamical sensitivity to the variation of single parameter is also investigated. In particular, there are a number of \textit{observable} orbits whose initial radii are large enough and which become chaotic before coalescence

    The contribution and interactive relationship of tourism industry development and technological innovation to the informatization level: Based on the context of low-carbon development

    Research background: Informatization is a new economic form arising from a new round of technological and industrial changes. Information technology has been used to promote the integrated development of the tourism industry and propel technological innovation, which will help accelerate the achievement of the strategic goals of carbon emission peaking and carbon neutrality. China’s informatization level has improved to a certain extent due to the concentration of capital and technological innovation brought about by the government-led model, and also owing to the consumer dynamics released by the industry-side reform.Research contents and methods: This study constructs a panel vector auto-regression model to investigate the impact of tourism industry development and technological innovation on informatization based on Chinese provincial statistics from 2010 to 2019. This study adopts the entropy method, Monte Carlo simulation, variance decomposition, and pulse response to investigate the impact, characteristics, and trends of their interactions.Results: First, tourism industry development, technological innovation, and informatization all experience inertia development and have self-reinforcing mechanisms during the research period. Second, tourism industry development and technological innovation have a significantly positive impact on the enhancement of informatization, and their influence presents a trend, from upward to downward. Third, tourism industry development has a positive impact on technological innovation, and the response trend presents a curve approximately inverted U-shape. Fourth, from the results of variance decomposition, the contribution of technological innovation to the improvement of informatization level increases rapidly and reaches 18.5% and then levels off. The contribution rate of tourism industry development to the improvement of informatization level gradually rises and reaches 5.1%, finally tending to be stable.Contribution: This study reveals that tourism industry development and technological innovation will exert different pulling effects on informatization at different development stages in China and their advantages and provides theoretical contributions to tourism industry development and technological innovation on the advancement of informatization level. The research results provide a reference basis for the government and related industrial sectors in how to effectively facilitate the development of informatization in the context of the low-carbon economy

In the fiercely competitive talent landscape, teachers serve as the backbone of private universities and are essential to their growth. Effective human resource management aims to mobilize faculty and staff enthusiasm, achieved through a systematic salary plan, fair performance evaluations, transparent competition mechanisms, and scientific incentive distribution. This article focuses on studying the incentive mechanism for teachers at Jiangxi University of Engineering, using questionnaire surveys and interviews to identify issues such as high teacher mobility and incomplete incentive systems. By combining incentive theory and experiences from foreign universities, the study aims to explore motivational principles and propose solutions to enhance the current incentive mechanisms. The ultimate goal is to offer valuable insights for improving teacher incentives in private universities across China

    How to Face COVID-19 in Ophthalmology Practice

    Background: The novel coronavirus pneumonia has attracted considerable attention from the international community. With the spread of outbreaks around the world, the WHO characterized COVID-19 as a pandemic. Methods: Relevant studies in PubMed were searched from January 1, 2020 to April 12, 2020, using the following search strategy: (“novel coronavirus pneumonia†OR “severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2†OR “coronavirus disease 2019†OR “COVID-19†OR “novel coronavirus pneumoniaâ€) AND (“ophthalmology†OR “ophthalmologist†OR “eye†OR “conjunctiva†OR “conjunctivitis†OR “corneal†OR “keratitisâ€). Results: SARS-CoV-2 can spread through aerosol and is detected in tears of patients with COVID-19 infection. Notably, some infected patients had conjunctivitis, and conjunctivitis was the first symptom in some patients later diagnosed to have COVID-19 infection. This would increase the risk for ophthalmologists through inpatient consultations or regular clinical practice. When dealing with seemingly regular ophthalmic patients, the vigilance of ophthalmologists and associated staff tends to be reduced. Conclusion: Ophthalmologists must continuously update their knowledge regarding COVID-19 and take effective measures to prevent COVID-19 transmission

    Resveratrol protects against sepsis induced acute kidney injury in mice by inducing Klotho mediated apoptosis inhibition

    Purpose: To investigate the mechanism of resveratrol protection against sepsis-induced acute kidney injury in mice. Methods: A sepsis-induced acute kidney injury model was established in mice by cecal ligation and puncture (CLP). Sixty healthy male ICR mice were randomly divided into the sham operation (sham) group, sepsis-induced acute kidney injury model (CLP) group, CLP + low-dose (20 mg/kg) resveratrol treatment (CLP + ResL) group, CLP + high-dose (40 mg/kg) resveratrol treatment (CLP + ResH) group and CLP + Klotho (0.01 mg/kg) treatment (CLP + Klotho) group. All mice were administered treatment on the day after surgery and once every 24 h for 3 days. Various serum biochemical parameters and protein expressions were evaluated. Results: After CLP, the levels of serum creatinine (Scr) and blood urea nitrogen (BUN) increased and the pathology was exacerbated. The protein and mRNA expression levels of Klotho and Bcl-2 decreased, while those of Bax and Caspase-3 increased (p < 0.05). After resveratrol and Klotho protein intervention, Scr and BUN levels recovered, and pathological changes were alleviated. The protein and mRNA expression levels of Klotho and Bcl-2 increased, while those of Bax and Caspase-3 decreased. The conditions of the mice in CLP + ResH group and the CLP + Klotho group improved more significantly than those of the mice in the CLP + ResL group (p < 0.05). Conclusion: Resveratrol upregulates the expression of endogenous Klotho to exert its antiapoptotic effects, which can protect the kidneys of mice against sepsis-induced acute kidney injury. Thus, the compound has potentials for development for protection against acute kidney injury

    Comparative Study on the Choice of Muslim migrants Residence in Xi’an and Lanzhou Cities, China

    Residential choice is one of the basic contents of urban adaptation of the floating population and an important aspect in determining the quality of life in the city. This study is for Muslim migrants with three attributes (minority, floating population and religious belief). The purpose is to reveal the commonalities and differences in the choice of living spaces of Muslim Migrants in multi-ethnic cities Lanzhou and Xi’an, to provide guidance for the targeted management of Muslim migrants and promote their urban integration. Based on available research data from 2017-2019, the study adopts spatial analysis and regression analysis to explore the results of the selection of Muslim migrants living space in two cities and its influencing factors. The main conclusions are as follows: 1) The commonality of Muslim migrants living space in the two cities lies in: the distribution pattern of “Living around the mosque and running business nearby the mosque” still exists. The living space of Muslim migrants consists of points (mosques), lines (streets or traffic lines), and faces (inhabited areas), forming a spatial distribution pattern of the “mosque + community” residential circle. Differences: Muslim migrants in Hui’s street, Xi’an, taking the “Mosque-alley system” as an independent social organization, and their living space presents a " mosque-alley Interlaced" distribution. Muslim migrants living in the urban village community on the periphery of Hui’s street take "mosque" and "farm market" as the dual core, showing the “core (mosque/market) + community” inlaid living space situation. The Muslim migrants in Lanzhou generally live around the mosque or close to the streets and roads that lead to mosque. 2). In terms of commonality, the living choices of Muslim migrants in both cities consider the distance from the place of work, the mosque or the Muslim community to the place of residence. In terms of differences, the residential choice of Muslim migrants in Xi’an is mainly influenced by the composition of the living, the income of wages, and the nature of the occupation. The choice is mainly influenced by the rent level, occupational nature and wage income of the house; and the main influencing factors of the choice of Muslim migrants in Lanzhou are the education level and the rent level of the house. The main influencing factors of residential location selection are education level and mobility purpose. The level of education, traditional living customs, and rent levels have become the core factors determining the urban accommodation adaptation of Muslim migrants

    Adaptive finite-time control of multi-agent systems with partial state constraints and input saturation via event-triggered strategy

    This paper focuses on the finite-time control problem of multi-agent systems with input saturation, unknown nonlinear dynamics, external disturbances and partial state constraints via output feedback. Fuzzy logic system and fuzzy state observer are introduced to approximate the uncertain nonlinearities and estimate the unmeasurable states, respectively. The partial state constraints are dealt with by using the barrier Lyapunov function, so that all states of the system do not exceed the preset boundary values. In order to reduce the computational complexity of the virtual controller and save communication resources, a first-order filter and an event-triggered mechanism are introduced, respectively. It is proved that the Zeno behavior does not occur via the proposed event-triggered controller. By stability analysis, the finite-time convergence of tracking error to a small neighborhood of the origin is proven.
