    The Problem of Quality and Efficiency of Educational Institution Management

    The article researches and substantiates the problem of quality and efficiency of educational institution management, describes the transformation processes that take place in Ukraine at this stage, and reveals the existing problems. The article reveals the strategic tasks of reforming the management process of educational institutions. The authors justified ways to implement these tasks. At the same time, the authors of the article pay attention to the lack of readiness of heads of educational institutions for professional management activities and the lack of the necessary managerial competence in many of them, emphasizing the need to form a new generation of leaders. The authors emphasize the importance of the role of the head of an educational institution in introducing the latest educational technologies into the educational process, forms and methods of teaching, upbringing, and development of the individual, and so on. At the same time, special attention is paid to the need to improve the management system, and attention is focused on the importance of making managerial decisions. Considerable attention is paid to the importance of the management decision made by the manager of an educational institution in ensuring the goal. Among other things, the authors draw attention to the importance of directing the entire scientific and educational potential to ensure the high efficiency of the educational institution's activities. The article specifies the criteria used to evaluate the activities of an educational institution. The authors emphasize the spheres of influence of the quality of management on the activities of an educational institution, name the factors that directly affect the management process, and draw our attention to the importance of the level of professionalism of the head (manager) of an institution of general secondary education. The authors also pay attention to properties that contribute to improving the quality and efficiency of the management process. At the same time, the authors focus our attention on the effectiveness of management systems. In this context, special attention is paid to the choice of approaches that contribute to successful quality assurance of educational institution management, while emphasizing their advantages and highlighting their disadvantages. The article emphasizes the involvement of the teaching staff of an educational institution in management activities. At a high professional level, the topic of the article is revealed, the tasks of writing it are defined, and the level of potential for implementing the management process of educational institution managers is studied and justified. The Conclusions Drawn by the authors of the article are specific and fully correspond to the content of the work

    INTEGRATED LEARNING IN A MODERN SCHOOL IN THE CONTEXT OF DISTANCE EDUCATION

    The article is aimed at defining the concept of integrated learning and features of the implementation of this educational technology in modern general education institutions. In defining the key concept, the mechanisms of integration between the basic disciplines, which are appropriate for the use of integrated learning in the modern school, are considered. It is noted that integration can be carried out by two key mechanisms, each of which is aimed at the perception of pupils of the surrounding world as a whole, regardless of which aspect of science is its knowledge.The article reveals the essence of the integrated approach to education, its significance and impact on changing the structure of a particular subject, which is an important element in improving the effectiveness of the educational process. In addition, the article describes in detail the action of mechanisms in the implementation of the basics of an integrated lesson, as well as the content and operation of didactic principles for implementing an integrated approach.The main research methods are: Analysis of literature sources, observation, survey, generalization and statistical analysis.The article focuses on identifying opportunities for introducing distance learning into Ukrainian education using an integrative approach.The main results of the study give grounds for asserting that the active and professional use of distance education opportunities by teachers will contribute to solving the educational problems that have arisen in modern Ukraine. These changes will help build new ways of development and prospects for Ukrainian educators, based on the relevance and widespread use of online education.The authors proposed their own definitions of the concepts "value orientations", "personal values", "value orientations of Ukrainian youth".

    We have gained successful experience in conducting educational projects with studentsenvironmentalists of various thematic areas. The topics of ecological projects was related to a practical, professionally oriented block of the curriculum and are intended to deepen the knowledge of individual students in a certain area in order to differentiate the learning process. Most often, project topics relate to a specific practical issue that is relevant to real life. At the same time, it requires the acquisition of students’ knowledge from different subjects stimulates systematic creative thinking, turning up the research skills and opens opportunities for effective using of ICT in the project activity.Ми набули успішного досвіду в проведенні освітніх проектів зі студентами-екологами різних тематичних напрямків. Тематика екологічних проектів була пов'язана з практичним, професійно орієнтованим блоком навчальної програми і покликана поглибити знання окремих студентів з певної галузі з метою диференціації процесу навчання. Найчастіше теми проекту стосуються конкретного практичного питання, що має відношення до реального життя. У той же час, це вимагає засвоєння студентами знань з різних предметів, стимулює систематичне творче мислення, набуття дослідницьких навичок та відкриває можливості для ефективного використання ІКТ у проектній діяльності

    The intellectual system of movies recommendations based on the collaborative filtering

    The investigation deals with designing and developing of intellectual system of movies recommendations  based on the collaborative filtering using the Python software environment. In particular, the approaches (Content-based approach, Collaborative filtering, Hybrid models) in recommendatory system construction with the help of neural networks have been analyzed. It has been established that it is difficult to implement and learn the Content-based approach and it strongly depends on the subject area. Collaborative filtering is more simple in implementation, training, it is universal, but it has a flaw in the form of a «cold-start». Accordingly, the collaborative filtering has been chosen for the design and development of the intellectual system of movies recommendations. While designing a system of recommendations based on collaborative filtering, the Naive Recommendations, Recommendations based on average ratings of similar users, Recommendations based on average user ratings and similarity matrix have been described; their algorithm and their implementation using the Python software environment have been demonstrated. As a result the intellectual system of recommendations has been realized and it can offer a movie to the user according to his/her preferences
