    [ID] Peningkatan sektor wisata di Bukittinggi memberi dampak terhadap peningkatan kebutuhan akan penginapan sebagai tempat tinggal sementara para wisatawan. Pada kondisi lain, wilayah Kota Bukittinggi cenderung memiliki lahan yang terbatas dan sudah dipadati dengan bangunan. Bagian lain pembangunan hotel di Kota Bukittinggi memerlukan fasilitas parkir, karena keterbatasan wilayah parkir di Kota yang sempit ini maka pembangunan gedung dengan memanfaatkan basement kedalam tanah menjadi alternatif pilihan. Sementara stabilitas bangunan yang telah memadati lokasi rencana pembangunan gedung baru menjadi kendala yang harus dihadapi. Kerusakan struktur tanah dapat terjadi baik secara langsung seperti penurunan daya dukung tanah dan keruntuhan dinding penahan tanah, sedangkan secara tidak langsung dapat terjadi seperti adanya kerusakan bangunan akibat getaran yang disalurkan dari tanah ke struktur bangunan. Berdasarkan latar belakang tersebut maka perlu dilakukan penelitian tentang pemanfaat tiang bor sebagai konstruksi penahan tanah pada lokasi yang sempit dan padat Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui angka aman pada stabiltas tanah dengan pemanfaatan barisan tiang bor. Metoda peneltian dengan menggunakan barisan pondasi bor sebagai penahan tanah. Berdasarkan analisis dengan parameter geoteknik tanah di lokasi, maka diperlukan dua lapis barisan tiang bor dengan diameter 50 cm untuk kedalaman yang berbeda. Lapisan pertama dari elevasi muka tanah asli hingga elevasi kedalaman 15m dan lapisan kedua dari elevasi dasar basement kedua hingga kedalaman 18m. Berdasarkan analisis maka diperoleh faktor keamanan 1,2 untuk galian hingga kedalamam 4 m. Untuk kedalaman galian yang lebih dari nilai faktor keamanan berkurang hingga mendekati nilai 1,0 sehingga diperlukan penanganan modifikasi dalam pemanfaatan barisan tiang bor ini. In other condition, restrictions on artificial tall buildings area are limited of regulations. Meanwhile, restrictions on the construction of tall buildings in an area are limited regulations. In Bukitinggi, West Sumatra, the construction of high buildings is a less than the "Clock Tower". Meantime, the construction of hotels in the city of Bukittinggi requires parking facilities. Building construction is using basement into the ground becomes an alternative choice. However, the stability has been packed with the location of building construction plans is an obstacle that must be faced. Damage to the soil structure can directly, bearing capacity of the soil and the retaining wall is collapse. Damage of buildings by vibrations transmitted from the ground to the building structure. Soil retaining construction is a civil building that has a function of ground motion barrier that caused by pressure forces on the ground and water. Methods using sheet pile are also considered, but due to environmental disturbance these methods are not used. As a suitable choice, a row of drill foundation is used as a buffer. Based on the analysis of the soil geotechnical parameters at the site, two layers of bored pillars with a diameter of 50 cm are needed for different depths.     PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA MELALUI PENERAPAN ALAT PERAGA CIRCULATORY BOTTLE

    This study proposed to describe the implementation of learning process, students’ responses, and learning outcomes especially in knowledge aspect using the circulatory bottle. This study used a pre-experimental with one group pretest posttest design. Samples consist of 17 students of VIII A class in SMP NU Bahrul Ulum Gresik in the Academic Year 2021/2022. The data were collected using observations, questionnaires, and tests with the instrument such as test assessment sheets, student response questionnaires, attitude, and learning implementation observation sheets. The results showed that: (a) the implementation of learning with circulatory bottle for each stage in three meetings got very good category; (b) the implementation of circulatory bottle got positive responses from students with very good category; (c) learning outcome of social attitude aspects which include cooperative, curiosity, responsibility were declared complete with good and very good predicates; (d) learning outcome in the knowledge aspect increased as evidenced by the average value of N-gain in high category. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the implementation of the circulatory bottle can increase learning outcomes

    The purpose of this research is to know how big the influence of Role Conflict, Role Ambiguity and Job Stress on the Employee’s Performance at PT . Midi Utama  Indonesia Tbk Branch Samarinda . The sample on this research is consist of 40 respondents which are chosen from the method of Accidental Sampling . The analyst means that is used in this research is the multiplied linear regression with the help of IBM program Statistical Product and Service Solution ( SPSS ) 22 For Windows. The results of this research shows that partially of the hypothesis with the t- test where X1 = -2.283 ; X2 = -4.290 ; X3 = 3.426 . The variable negative value of Role Conflict, Role Ambiguity on the Employee’s Performance and positve value Stress Of Work on the Employee’s Performance has a strong relationship.Keyword: Role Conflict , Role Ambiguity , Work Stress and Employee Performance.                      

    Indonesian Teachers’ Directives In English Language Classrooms

    English language classrooms as real language settings provide ample linguistic data, be they produced by the teachers or the students, as there are some interactions in exchanging thoughts, feelings, or ideas. Speech acts theory indicates that in using the language, people not only create an isolated series of sentences, but also carry out actions by either doing something or making others do something. By using classroom observations conducted in twelve English language classrooms, this study seeks to describe types of sentence forms and kinds of strategies used by the teachers in giving order. The findings indicate that the teachers in the Department of English, Universitas Negeri Malang, who are in a position of authority over the students, do not always impose on their students in making them do what the teachers want them to do. Even though the interactions in the classrooms are not equal as the amount of teacher talk dominates the teaching and learning process, the students (as the hearer) are aware that they should adhere to the teachers’ speech acts of ordering to be successful in their study.      Keywords: English language classrooms, speech acts theory, directives, sentence forms, speech acts strategies.

    Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kausalitas dengan menggunakan data primer dan data sekunder, sedangkan objek penelitian adalah karyawan PT Multi Harapan Utama di Tenggarong. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui analisis dan pengaruh Safety Leadership dan Safety Training terhadap Kinerja Keselamatan dan Positive Reinforcement . Dalam rangka menguji analisis hipotesis penulis menggunakan alat analisis dengan menggunakan SPSS 25. Responden penelitian ini adalah karyawan PT Multi Harapan Utama di Tenggarong dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 120 responden. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa: Safety Leadership dan Saftey Training  berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Positive Reinforcement dan Kinerja Keselamatan PT Multi Harapan Utama

    Pengembangan Microlearning Video dengan Menggunakan Aplikasi Canva pada Materi Sistem Pernapasan

    The process of studying biology at this time needs to integrate science and technology. Based on the preliminary study it was found that teachers experienced problems related to the development of instructional media. Therefore, video microlearning using the Canva application is expected to be an alternative to overcome this problem. The purpose of this study was to find out the form of microlearning video development using the Canva application on the respiratory system material. This research is a type of Research and Development research with the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). However, this research only carried out three stages of ADD (Analysis, Design, and Development) due to limited research time. The research instruments were interview guidelines, student analysis questionnaire sheets, material validation sheets, media validation sheets, and student response questionnaires for a limited-scale trial of 12 students and a large-scale of 24 students. The types of research data are quantitative data and qualitative data. Research data were analyzed using the quantitative descriptive. The research results showed that the development of microlearning videos using the Canva application on respiratory system material was declared valid by material experts (75%), very valid by media experts (93.75%), and valid based on the results of limited-scale student response trials (80%). Thus, the development of video microlearning using the Canva application on respiratory system material is feasible for use in biology learning in junior high schools

    ANALISIS DINAMIS DINDING PENAHAN TANAH AKIBAT BEBAN DINAMIS

    In general, the failure of retaining wall construction is influenced by the geometry of the construction of retaining wall, physical and mechanical properties of the soil embankment and/or subgrade and static and/or dynamic load. In a dynamic analysis of the stability of retaining wall, landslide surface behind the retaining wall are calculated based on assumptions. It is required to develop a method that is appropriate in site planning construction of retaining wall due to the dynamic loads by considering the form of sliding soil behind retaining wall. The results of this study are expected to determine the role of these parameters to the movement of the material behind the wall due to the sinusoidal dynamic load. This research used the movement of materials with equivalent static analysis to analyze the stability of the retaining wall. This study was conducted to the small-scale test of a retaining wall model in the laboratory. This models used gravity of retaining wall, which was made of concrete and was placed on dry sand with a trapezoid-shaped a height of 20 centimeters, width of peak 2 centimeters and width of below 10 centimeters and cantilever with a height of 18.3 centimeters, width of 9.3 centimeters that is placed on dry sand that can pass through sieve No. 4 and retained on sieve No.100. Variations in the relative density of the sand used for testing is a relative density (DR) of sand of 30%, DR of 60% and DR of 75% to model gravity and DR of 30%, DR of 55% and DR of 70% for the cantilever model. The model placed in the glass box of a length of 2 meters, width of 0.4 meters and height of 1 meter. The model vibrated using a shaking table that is moved horizontally with variation of the vibration frequency (f) and the amplitude of vibration (A). Sinusoidal dynamic acceleration response is recorded using an accelerometer. Granular soil displacement at some point also be monitored during the test. The results showed that the shape of the field of material movement behind the retaining wall is influenced by DR of sand, type of retaining wall and the sinusoidal dynamic acceleration (a maks ). The DR of sand effect on the area and shape of material movement field by certain a maks . The lower of affect DR then the wider and deeper the field of material movement. The relationship of a maks against the width of material movement and a maks against the height of material movement is linear. The parameter of f is more dominant influence on the a maks compared with A. The percentage of increase in a maks be two-fold when the f be improved. If the A is increased then the increase of a maks be proportional to the increase in A. The parameter of f has a dominant effect on the height of the material movement field. The greater of f then the greater of height of material movement field. The parameter of A has a dominant influence on the width of the material movement field. The larger of A getting wider the field of material movement that occurred. By delivering three variations a maks of 0,221g, 0,245g and 0,27g the safety factor of overturning (SF overturning ) for both models showed a decrease due to increased of the material movement bandwidth, as a result of the increase in the a maks . By increasing the DR, then the SF overturning decreases follow the trend of their respective functions. the SF sliding for two types of models show a decline, along with the increase of vast of material movement field. The safety factor of sliding (SF sliding ) increases follow the trend of their respective functions if the DR increased.     “It is expected …” BETWEEN RELIGIOSITY AND EVIDENTIALITY

    The present study is focused on analyzing the uses of some expressions showing expectations in academic texts. A corpus-based study specifically dealing with the uses of the verbs "expect" and "hope",  this project seeks to understand the phenomenon as reflected in C-SMILE (Corpus of State University of Malang Indonesian Learners’ English). Analyzing the corpus of about 6 million words composed of texts of undergraduate theses written in English by Indonesian EFL learners, this study has arrived at an interpretive point that Indonesian cultural norms are influential to the manifestation of the expressions. The expressions reflect some degree of the writers’ religiosity.     PANCI TEKAN SEBAGAI ALAT STERILISASI ALTERNATIF PENGGANTI AUTOKLAF

    Background : The result of infection control procedure survey in Puskesmas showed that there were the health worker’s practices that increased potentially for transmission of infection, not only for patients but also for health workers. Sterilization is an important component for annihilating all microorganism include spore. As a standard sterilizer, autoclave was rarely had by Puskesmas (13.3%). Press cooker has the same principle mechanism as autoclave, therefore it can be used to sterilizer. Objective :The purpose of this study was to investigate the press cooker effectiveness as sterilizer to sterilize Bacillus subtilis. Methods : This study used laboratory experimental with posttest only with control group design. The samples were 54 tubes of Bacillus subtilis bacteria. In first research, the samples were 30 tubes of Bacillus subtilis. The variable was ability for sterilizing Bacillus subtilis by press cooker in 15 minutes. In second research, the samples were 24 tubes of Bacillus subtilis. The variable was the need of time for sterilizing Bacillus subtilis by press cooker. The result of sterilization test for Bacillus subtilis can be observed by incubation bacteria tubes into incubato for 24 hours in 37°C. The media were sterile, if they were transparent. Results : The result was press cooker can sterilize all of the Bacillus subtilis (100%) like autoclave in 15 minutes. The Kappa’s coefficient showed there was very good coefficient (K > 0.75) between press cooker and autoclave as sterilizer. Press cooker can sterilize Bacillus subtilis in 1 minutes. There was not the significant difference of time between a press cooker an another for sterilizing Bacillus subtilis. Conclusion : Press cooker had the same effectiveness as autoclave in sterilizing Bacilus subtilis. Press cooker needs time 11 minutes for sterilizing.
