Rola rodziny w procesie zdrowienia osób z zaburzeniami psychicznymi – polsko-niemieckie badania porównawcze

Schwere psychische Erkrankungen werden nicht nur für Patientinnen zu einem kritischen Lebensereignis, sondern auch für diejenigen, die ihnen nahestehen. Dennoch lässt sich feststellen, dass das Verständnis für eine psychische Krise in der Familie meist größer ist als im Freundes- oder Bekanntenkreis. Im Falle einer kurzfristigen Krankheit oder einer psychischen Krise hilft normalerweise das Gefühl der familiären Wärme. Bei einer chronischen psychischen Erkrankung braucht aber auch die Familie aufgrund der Belastungen meist Hilfe (Jasch, 2012). Dieser Artikel stellt die Ergebnisse einer empirischen Untersuchung dar. Deren Ziel ist es, die Überzeugungen, Haltungen und Einstellungen der in Polen und Deutschland tätigen Sozialarbeiter*innen über die Rolle der Familie im Genesungsprozess von Menschen mit psychischen Störungen zu erfassen. Die in der Forschung verwendete Methode ist Focus Testing (FGI). Die Forschung wurde im Zeitraum 2020 – 2021 in Polen (Wojewodschaft Lublin) und Deutschland (Niedersachsen) durchgeführt.A severe mental illness becomes a critical life event not only for the patient but for thier family as well. Nevertheless, it must be said that the understanding of the mental crisis is usually grater among the family than in among friends or aquintences.In case of a short-term illness or mental crisis a person is usually helped by affection and family warmth. However, in case of chronic mental illness the family, due to the burdens, usually needs help as well (Jasch, 2012). This article is empirical in its nature. The subject of the research are the beliefs of the aid staff, working in Poland and Germany, concerning the role of the family in the recovery process of people with mental disorders. The method employed in the research is focus group interview (FGI). The research was carried out in 2020–2021 in Poland (Lubelskie Voivodship) and Germany (Lower Saxony). The research results has proved a considerable family role in the recovery process of a person suffering from amental disorders. However, there were differences in the perception of the importance of the impact of two key environments: the family environment and the institutional environment. Ciężka choroba psychiczna staje się nie tylko dla pacjenta, ale również dla osób mu bliskich krytycznym wydarzeniem życiowym. Mimo to należy stwierdzić, że zrozumienie kryzysu psychicznego jest zwykle większe w rodzinie niż w kręgu przyjaciół albo znajomych. W przypadku krótkotrwałej choroby lub kryzysu psychicznego danej osobie zazwyczaj pomaga uczucie, ciepło rodzinne. Jednak w przypadku przewlekłej choroby psychicznej rodzina zazwyczaj także potrzebuje pomocy ze względu na obciążenia (Jasch, 2012). Artykuł ma charakter empiryczny. Przedmiotem badań są przekonania kadry pomocowej pracującej w Polsce i w Niemczech na temat roli rodziny w procesie zdrowienia osób z zaburzeniami psychicznymi. Metodą zastosowaną w badaniach są badania fokusowe (FGI). Badania realizowane były w okresie 2020–2021 r. na terenie Polski (województwo lubelskie) i Niemiec (Dolna Saksonia). Wyniki badań dowodzą, że rola rodziny w procesie zdrowienia osoby z zaburzeniami psychicznymi jest bardzo duża. Zarysowały się jednak różnice w postrzeganiu znaczenia oddziaływań dwóch kluczowych środowisk: środowiska rodzinnego i instytucjonalnego

Cerberus : a human powered vehicle

A recumbent trike was designed and built for the ASME Human Powered Vehicle Challenge held at San Jose State University in April of 2013. The vehicle was designed to be low cost for use by commuters and as primary transportation in developing countries. The vehicle placed 11th overall in the competition out of 29 teams, and scored 8th in the innovation event, which was its best ranking out of the 5 individual events

Fractal square zone plates

[EN] In this paper we present a novel family of zone plates with a fractal distribution of square zones. The focusing properties of these fractal diffractive lenses coined fractal square zone plates are analytically studied and the influence of the fractality is investigated.
