Irreducible completely pointed modules of quantum groups of type AA

We give a classification of all irreducible completely pointed Uq(sln+1)U_q(\mathfrak{sl}_{n+1}) modules over a characteristic zero field in which qq is not a root of unity. This generalizes the classification result of Benkart, Britten and Lemire in the non quantum case. We also show that any infinite-dimensional irreducible completely pointed Uq(sln+1)U_q(\mathfrak{sl}_{n+1}) can be obtained from some irreducible completely pointed module over the quantized Weyl algebra An+1qA_{n+1}^q.Comment: 25 page

    Roth's removal rule revisited

    Get PDF
AbstractThe theory of companion matrices is used to give explicit representations for the matrices needed in Roth's removal rule. These are then used to give simple proofs for the cyclic decomposition theorem, as well as for Roth's similarity theorem for matrices over a field

AbstractSome properties of light matrices are derived, and their relation to Perron matrices is investigated

Drazin inverses and canonical forms in Mn(Zh)

AbstractThe existence and construction of the Drazin inverse of a square matrix over the ring Zh is considered. The canonical forms of matrices over this ring are used to facilitate the computation of this type of generalized inverse

Extending number of days to first bloom is a positive means for increasing total growth for short-season, determinate growth habit soybeans . Increasing number of days to first bloom is also effective in increasing the height of lowest pods. In an attempt to develop productive strains of Group IV maturity with good quality seed, we used PI 171.450 as a parent

CONGRESSIONAL ENACTMENT OF UNIFORM JUDICIAL NOTICE ACT

    Get PDF
The National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform Laws approved in 1936 the Uniform Judicial Notice of Foreign Law Act, which has since been adopted by fourteen states. This act was drafted to make uniform a legislative movement of the past twelve years proposing to change two rules of the common law. One is the rule that a state court will not notice the law of sister states in the United States; and the other is the rule that the determination of such law shall be made by the jury and not by the judge. Accordingly, the Uniform Act provides (1) that state courts shall take judicial notice of the common law and statutes of every state, territory, and other jurisdiction of the United States, and (2) that laws of sister states and foreign countries shall be determined by the judge. These two provisions are complementary to each other, since a corollary of the requirement of judicial notice is the requirement that sister state law shall be decided by the judge and not by the jury

TiO2 film properties as a function of processing temperature, volume 3

    Get PDF
Thin film TiO2 was produced at 150 C by chemical vapor deposition using hydrolysis of tetraisopropyl titanate. Films were amorphous as grown, but annealing in air caused crystallization, with anatase formed beginning at 350 C and rutile at 700 C. Density and index of refraction increased substantially with increasing anneal temperature, while etch susceptibility in HF and H2SO4 decreased. Comparison with literature data showed two groups of processes. One group yields films having properties that gradually approach those of rutile with increasing process temperature. The other group gives rutile directly at moderate temperatures. Deposition of amorphous film followed by etching and annealing is suggested as a means for pattern definition

In this paper, we will use outer inverses and the Brown-McCoy shift to characterize the existence of the inverse and group inverse of a 2×22\times 2 block matrix.FEDER Funds through ``Programa Operacional Factores de Competitividade - COMPETE'' and by Portuguese Funds through FCT - ``Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia'', within the project PEst-C/MAT/UI0013/2011
