    Výrobní hala dámské značkové konfekce se nachází v městské části Brno-Židenice v oblasti jednoho z takzvaných „brownfields“. V současnosti jsou na pozemku umístěny zchátralé skladovací objekty a garáže. Parcela je ohraničena ulicemi Rokytova, Komprdova a Údolíček a čtvrtou stranu uzavírají pozemky hřbitova. Vjezd do areálu je řešen z ulice Údolíček, jejíž poloha je v současné době prozatímní, a tudíž byla pro potřeby závodu mírně upravena. Od severovýchodu je také zajištěn přístup pro pěší. V areálu je integrováno parkoviště a potřebné plochy pro manipulaci se zbožím. Konfekční závod je zaměřen na výrobu dámské konfekce Giorgio Armani, a tudíž i architektonické řešení vyplývá ze základní filozofie této firmy. Jejich modely jsou známy jednoduchými střihy, které jsou pak ozvláštněny vzorovanými látkami. Základní hmota objektu je tedy prostý kvádr citlivě zasazený do okolního svažitého terénu, který je oživen částmi elips, které vystupují nebo se naopak noří do základního objemu a vytváří tak prostory odpočinkové i funkční. Výrazný horizontální charakter je částečně narušen válcovým tělesem zaseknutým do základního tvaru, které převyšuje stavbu o jedno nadzemní podlaží. Výrobní hala je z velké části prosklená, aby byl zachován kontakt pracovnic s okolním prostředím, a také abychom do interiéru dostali potřebné množství světla. Proti přehřívání pak objekt chrání fasádní síť, která obaluje prosklené plochy a zároveň slouží jako sjednocující prvek. Objekt v sobě integruje dvoupodlažní výrobní halu, skladovací prostory, hygienické zázemí zaměstnanců, administrativu, jídelní provoz a energetické provozy nezbytné pro zajištění provozu. Nosný systém stavby je ocelový skelet v kombinaci s obvodovou železobetonovou stěnou a zděnými ztužujícími stěnami.The women´s clothing factory is situated in the city part Brno-Židenice in the area of one so called „brownfields“. Currently there are rusty storages and old garages standing in the building ground. The site is bordered by several streets – it is Rokytova street, Komprdova street and Údolíček street – and the fourth side is closed by boundaries of a cemetery. The area can be entered from the north-west street Údolíček. According to the ground plan, its location is temporary, so we changed it a little to better match the needs of the company. The entrance for pedestrians is situated at the north-west too. And there are also parking places and other necessary manipulation space situated on the grounds. The clothing factory is aimed at production of Giorgio Armani´s women confection so the architectural solution is based on the basic philosophy of the company. Their models are famous for their simple design with a patterned fabric that make them special. So the basic mass of the object is a simple block, which is sensitively placed at the surrounding landscape and which is made special by the parts of ovals that are embedded or comming out of the basic mass. These parts of ovals create both – resting and functional spaces. The strong horizontal character is broken by a cylindrical body stucked into the basic shape that surmounts the block by one floor. A big part of the production hall is glassed-in so we can get enough light into the interier and the employees can be in touch with the surrounding. There is a facade net strunged in front of the glass facade. The net limits overheating and also plays the role of the unifying element. The building integrates a producion hall, storages, sanitary rooms, administrative space, canteen with affilated spaces and energy traffic necessary for running the factory. The wing cell is a steel skeleton combined with reinforced concrete circumferential wall and tie brick walls.

    Jádro článku tvoří představení základních výsledků z dotazníkového šetření pro potřeby studentského projektu iNeBe - INformační (NE)BEzpečí. Průzkum má ale širší souvislosti do problematiky informační bezpečnosti v kontextu služeb českých knihoven. Staví na výsledcích šetření v souvisejících oblastech, ale je jedinečný právě svým zaměřením na knihovny a hledáním nejefektivnější a nejžádanější cesty, jak podpořit vzdělávání o informační bezpečnosti v českých knihovnách, ať už se to týká vzdělávání samotných pracovníků knihovny nebo jejích uživatelů. Článek má svou formou blízko výzkumné zprávě, protože zahrnuje metodologické vymezení, základní zjištění a také návrhy na další výzkumy, které vyplynuly ze zajímavých výsledků.The core of the article is composed of basic presentation of results from the survey for the needs of the student project iNeBe - Information danger. The survey has a broader context of information security in the context of the services of Czech libraries. It builds on the results of investigations in related areas, but it is unique in its focus on libraries and in finding the most effective and most requested ways to raise awareness of information safety in Czech libraries, whether it relates to education library staff itself or its users. Article has a form close to the research report, because it involves a methodological definition, the essential findings and suggestions for further research that arise from the interesting results

    A novel resource for genomics of Triticeae: BAC library specific for the short arm of rye (Secale cereale L.) chromosome 1R (1RS)

    <p>Abstract</p> <p>Background</p> <p>Genomics of rye (<it>Secale cereale </it>L.) is impeded by its large nuclear genome (1C~7,900 Mbp) with prevalence of DNA repeats (> 90%). An attractive possibility is to dissect the genome to small parts after flow sorting particular chromosomes and chromosome arms. To test this approach, we have chosen 1RS chromosome arm, which represents only 5.6% of the total rye genome. The 1RS arm is an attractive target as it carries many important genes and because it became part of the wheat gene pool as the 1BL.1RS translocation.</p> <p>Results</p> <p>We demonstrate that it is possible to sort 1RS arm from wheat-rye ditelosomic addition line. Using this approach, we isolated over 10 million of 1RS arms using flow sorting and used their DNA to construct a 1RS-specific BAC library, which comprises 103,680 clones with average insert size of 73 kb. The library comprises two sublibraries constructed using <it>Hin</it>dIII and <it>Eco</it>RI and provides a deep coverage of about 14-fold of the 1RS arm (442 Mbp). We present preliminary results obtained during positional cloning of the stem rust resistance gene <it>SrR</it>, which confirm a potential of the library to speed up isolation of agronomically important genes by map-based cloning.</p> <p>Conclusion</p> <p>We present a strategy that enables sorting short arms of several chromosomes of rye. Using flow-sorted chromosomes, we have constructed a deep coverage BAC library specific for the short arm of chromosome 1R (1RS). This is the first subgenomic BAC library available for rye and we demonstrate its potential for positional gene cloning. We expect that the library will facilitate development of a physical contig map of 1RS and comparative genomics of the homoeologous chromosome group 1 of wheat, barley and rye.</p

    Antimicrobial properties of polymeric nanofibrous membranes containing ferrous sulphate

    This paper reposts on nanofibers of polymers doped with ferrous sulphate (FeSO4) possibly in combination with quaternary ammonium salt (QAS) prepared by electrospinning. Three types of polymers (polyvinylidene fluoride/PVDF, polylactic acid/PLA and polyurethane/PU) with good electrospinning processability and good mechanical properties of nanofibers were chosen. The prepared nanofibrous membranes were characterised in terms of morphology of the fibres assessed by SEM, and the pore sizes were determined by porometry. The leaching test showed a firm anchoring of the additive in the nanofiber structure. Antimicrobial activity was monitored after 0 h, 4 h and 24 h using Staphylococcus aureus (CCM 4516) and Klebsiella pneumoniae (CCM 4415) strains. Furthermore, aerosol filtration efficycy was dermined and also quality factor of filtration. The membrane prepared from PU doped with FeSO4 showed the best antibacterial efficiency. The porosity and morphology of the nanofibrous membrane effectively contributed to the trapping of microorganisms. This system was also evaluated as the most suitable for the electrospinning process from the effectivity point of view. The theoretical part deals with the motif of plants in paiting at the end of the 19th and the first half of the 20th century. It introduces flowers as plants in the layers of meaning that are part of the artwork. As an example is presented the work of P. A. Renoir. The practical creative part presents eight wash drawings with plant motifs, such as: gladiolus, lily, hydrangea, rose, sunflower and zinnia. The presentation includes a series of sketch material

    The thesis deals with the theory of social service types with regard to the situation in České Budějovice. It includes types of social service, the development and current situation in the Czech Republic. The situation abroad is discussed as well. The Act no.108/2006 Coll., on social service is described and the part dealing with social services related to senior citizens is highlighted. The research part is aimed at assessing the quality of social service by its users and social facilities workers. The research was made by questionnaires completed with clients of retirement homes (Máj, Hvízdal and Dobrá Voda) in České Budějovice. The research revealed that clients of social services are satisfied with the quality. Their relatives were satisfied to a great extent

    Completion of the BUT - Faculty of Fine Arts

    The topic of my master´s thesis was to create an architectural study of the Fakulty of Fine Arts in Brno - city part Veveří. The site lies near the Faculty of Law of Masaryk University and it´s bordered by streets Šumavská, Veveří, Bulínova and Akademická. The project ties together the architectural study from subject TG02 witch solved the second part of the programme "Academic Square" and it was a construction of the fakulty of Forensic Engineering and the background for both faculties. So the solution is a compex architectural study which sorts the urban and also the architectural aspects of both faculties and their background. The main idea of the urban concept is to také up the surrounding bulit-up-area which is typical for this part of Brno. The philosophy of the architectural solution comes from the concept of the traditional British universities. So the solution are two objects of the faculties with plane shape od the letter U which clutches the volume of the common background between each other
