    Tujuan pelatihan pemanfaatan Flip-book berbasis screencast-o-Matic video sebagai model pembelajaran dengan system asynchronous pelatihan untuk mengembangkan, membekali, menambah wawasan soft skill tenaga pendidik di SMK Alkhairat Pulau Morotai dalam mengoperasikan media pembelajaran berbasis e-learning dimasa penyebaran wabah Covid-19. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode observasi, ceramah, diskusi, dan pelatihan. Khalayak saran pelatihan yaitu tenaga pendidik di SMK Alkhairat Pulau Morotai.  Waktu pelaksanaan program pengabdian masyarakan yaitu pada tanggal 27 Oktober 2021 di SMK Alkhairat Pulau Morotai, Kecamatan Morotai Selatan, Kabupaten Pulau Morotai. Peserta pelatihan program pengabdian masyarakat  sangat merasa puas dengan padanya pelatihan e-learning system jaringan asynchronous. Selama proses pelatihan peserta pelatihan memperoleh wawasan baru tentang medesign bahan ajar dengan menggunakan Flip-book berbasis Screencast-o-Matic video dengan system asynchronous, dimana model pembelajaran ini dapat diterapkan pada proses belajar mengajar jarak jauh khususnya di daerah 3T dimasa pandemic. Respon positif yang diperlihatkan oleh peserta pelatihan membuktikan bahwa aplikasi Flip-book berbasis SoM dengan system asynchronous sangat penting untuk diterapkan di daerah daerah dengan akses internet yang buru

    Objektif. Tujuan pelatihan pengabdian masayarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan peserta dalam mengerjakan Tes Bahasa Inggris pada salah satu tahapan seleksi Perguruan Tinggi Kedinasan khususnya Politeknik Keuangan Negara STAN (PKN STAN) dan mampu memenuhi standar nilai minimal ketuntasan saat mengerjakan try out baik dalam bentuk Paper-Based Test maupun Computer-Assisted Test yang diselenggarakan di Lembaga Kursus dan Pelatihan (LKP) Science Society cabang Bandarlampung. Materi dan Metode. Kegiatan ini mengunakan participatory action research, dengan mengunakan tahapan perencanaan, tindakan dan evaluasi. Metode dalam proses pelatihan tes bahasa Inggris mengunakan diskusi kelompok atau cooperative learning. Hasil. Hasil pelatiahn ini dilakukan secara kualitatif dengan tiga kategori: baik hingga luar biasa, rendah hingga rata-rata, rata-rata hingga rendah. Kesimpulan. Pelatihan Tes Bahasa Inggris untuk masuk Perguruan Tinggi Kedinasan Khususnya PKN STAN di LKP Science Society Cabang Bandarlampung dilaksanakan mulai 13 Agustus 2021 sampai dengan 27 Agustus 2021. Hasil peserta dari pelatihan ini menujukan kategori bagus hingga luar biasa, rata-rata hingga bagus dan rendah hingga rata-rata. Dari pelatihan ini hasil try out peserta bimbingan belajar mendapatkan katogeri lulus nilai mati yang artinya peserta sudah berhasil mendapatkan nilai standar nilai minimal ketuntasan yang ditentukan oleh Perguruan Tinggi Kedinasan khususnya PKN STAN. Pelatihan ini bisa menjadi referensi untuk penulis selanjutnya

    This aimed to know using of jigsaw technique in increasing narrative writing ability students’ grade seven Junior High School  Muhammadiyah Lampung 3 year 2016/2017. This research of population was all students’ Junior High School  Muhammadiyah Lampung 3, it consisted of four classes. It used random sample which consisted of thirty students and grade seven Junior High School Muhammadiyah Lampung 3 Kec. Labuhan Ratu Kedaton. This research was class action research , the data was analyzed to know increasing students’ narrative writing ability, the researchers used technique of collecting documentation, interview and observation . Data analysis was conducted by taking the average score of the pre-test and post- test in cycle 1 and cycle 2. The result of research showed that the average of result on cycle I was 67,40  while cycle II was 78,30 and there was increasing namely 10,63

    Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan referensi strategi pengajaran literasi menulis. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen kuantitatif. Berdasarkan data analisis, terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan melalui penerapan metode pembacaan dan komposisi terpadu. Peneliti menarik beberapa kesimpulan bahwa terbukti pada kelas eksperimen terdapat perbedaan skor yang signifikan. Kelas eksperimen memiliki berbagai macam skor yang menunjukkan peningkatan dari perlakuan. Peneliti menyadarkan responden bahwa menulis tidak begitu sulit untuk dikuasai dengan menggunakan teknik ini. Setelah peneliti memberikan perlakuan, peneliti memberikan post test dan mendapat skor tertinggi 80 dan skor terendah adalah 60 yang mana memiliki rata-rata 70,36. Dari data tersebut terlihat bahwa mereka memiliki dorongan dalam menulis, dari 63 menjadi 70,36. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode ini memberikan efek yang sangat baik dan pasti mempengaruhi kemampuan responden dalam menguasai keterampilan menulis di era normal baru

    THE STUDENT’S RESPONSES TO THE USE OF COMIC STRIPS AS A LEARNING MEDIA

    The purpose of this study is to describe the students' responses to the use of comic strips as a learning medium in class VIII MTs N1 Morotai. This research used a quantitative method and included 38 eighth-grade students. This research employs a genuine experimental procedure, using random sampling as the sampling strategy. In the learning process, this instrument is utilized as a questioner following the comic strip treatment. As a result of this study, seven things are right or legitimate, while the other three are incorrect. Valid items ranging from 0.374 to 0.545 with an r-table of 5% were 0.320. Out of the 10 things tested, only seven were correct. The indicator selection revealed that the lowest score was 28 and the highest score was 45. The indicator of learning independence was assigned a score of 37.45, while the final one was assigned a score of 38.32 as an indicator of media presentation. Although comic strip media has limits, many other respondents think that they outweigh these drawbacks. The majority of responders believe it helps pupils enhance their writing skills

    By using the aforementioned characters, it is hoped that students'' vocabulary mastery will go beyond simply knowing the definitions of the words. This is especially true for words and phrases that are commonly used or found on social media, such as Tiktok. Students'' language proficiency increases with the size of their vocabulary. They can mold their English and consider it one of their school topics by developing their vocabulary. The authors were motivated to conduct this study to learn more about the impact of social media platforms like Tiktok on vocabulary development in pupils based on the information and issues mentioned above. Pre-experimental research using a quantitative method was the research design used in this study. The researchers chose this approach because it provided a quantitative study design that was used to share questionnaires. The results of the survey show that students have a positive attitude towards using TikTok to learn English vocabulary. Due to the variety of vocabulary levels available, TikTok significantly helps students improve their English vocabulary. In addition, TikTok''s many engaging elements help to effectively improve students' vocabulary. In conclusion, TikTok is a technology tool that has a significant impact in many different areas. The use of TikTok in language learning increases students'' motivation to learn and is successful in acquiring English vocabulary

    Convergence Theory Related to The Language Ambassador Speaking English Ability

    This study examines the convergence theory's applicability in the language acquisition process of two language ambassadors who possess excellent English speaking abilities. The research utilizes a qualitative method, employing in-depth interviews as the primary data collection tool. The respondents, Vina and Rafli, were selected based on their outstanding English proficiency demonstrated through language tests and academic achievements. Findings reveal that both internal factors (such as interest and talent) and external factors (such as supportive environments and learning facilities) significantly contribute to the respondents' language proficiency. The study concludes that the convergence theory accurately explains the language acquisition process in the cases of Vina and Rafli

Collecting data in this study is observation. This observation method is also called the observing method because the data is obtained by listening to the use of language. The data analysis technique in this study uses the referential equivalent method.     The purpose of this study was to determine whether implementing problem based learning as a learning method could improve the English writing abilities of students at the Islamic Education program, Universitas Muhammadiyah Lampung. This is an action study with three stages. The sample group consisted of 21 students, and the information was gathered using cluster sampling, test, and an average score. The discoveries of the research demonstrate that problem based learning improves students' English writing abilities, This indicates problem-based learning is beneficial.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah penerapan problem based learning sebagai metode pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menulis Bahasa Inggris mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Agama Islam Universitas Muhammadiyah Lampung. penelitian ini adalah studi tindakan dengan tiga tahap.
