The model of labor market policy is closely related to the form and structure of the socio-economic model operating in a given country at a given time. It has undergone numer- ous transformations in the course of the development of capitalism. Its doctrine mainly origi- nated from the trends of classical, and then neo-classical economics. In the 20th century, the US market economy was frequently influenced by interventionist concepts, though. Owing to the New Deal and Keynesian policy, the US model of a labor mar- ket has become more redistributive, less flexible and subject to various forms of state influ- ence. Interventionist policies implemented during World War II and over the following twenty years led to ‘full employment’ accompanied by the curbing of income disparities in so- ciety. The worsened situation of the labor market during the period of stagflation of the 1970s re- sulted in the victory of a fiscal neo-conservatist concept, represented by the Republicans with Ronald Reagan. The years of the Reagan administration marked the restoration of liberal solutions in labor market policy. Reaganomics limited workers’ rights, improving the situation of employers and significantly reducing labor costs. These changes stabilized the situation in terms of the balance between the supply and demand for labor, simultaneously strongly increasing the in- come polarization of US society and negatively affecting employment standards. The model of labor market policy is closely related to the form and structure of the socio-economic model operating in a given country at a given time. Indeterminacy in the systems and networks design

    Get PDF
As on the stage systems and networks operation, part of the parameters which are taken into consideration in the design process change its meaning, the project formed earlier can not satisfy the requirements. It is necessary to respect a variability at the time of selected system or network characteristics in the design process. The authors propose a method introducing an indeterminacy to the design process: design criteria, input parameters and model itself. It allows to obtain not one but a set of design solutions which specify given requirements and it is possible to take a human factor into consideration in the solution search process

A Minimal Solution for Image-Based Sphere Estimation

We propose a novel minimal solver for sphere fitting via its 2D central projection, i.e. , a special ellipse. The input of the presented algorithm consists of contour points detected in a camera image. General ellipse fitting problems require five contour points. However, taking advantage of the isotropic spherical target, three points are enough to define the tangent cone parameters of the sphere. This yields the sought ellipse parameters. Similarly, the sphere center can be estimated from the cone if the radius is known. These proposed geometric methods are rapid, numerically stable, and easy to implement. Experimental results—on synthetic, photorealistic, and real images—showcase the superiority of the proposed solutions to the state-of-the-art methods. A real-world LiDAR-camera calibration application justifies the utility of the sphere-based approach resulting in an error below a few centimeters

Interconnection distributed systems designed with hierarchical organization

In this paper an origin approach to distributed systems design is shown. It allows to include complete costs of their life circuit. In order to simplify complexity of a design procedure we assume that a created system will have a regional hierarchical structure. A model based on the equivalence relation can describe that problem. In this way, it is possible to describe hierarchical regionalization simply for n-levels

In this paper we present optical communication multibus system including: physical topology, logical topology, structure of central control unit (CCU). We describe the task of CCU: analyze the state of logical buses, topology reconfiguration, system structures clustering, unexpected events handling, statistic gathering, etc. In this paper we present synthesis of core system network basis on: MIN network, hypercube, ring topology and original embedding operation. We present logical structure of the systems including: logical interconnection buses, CCU, control transmission pattern, applicable logical topologies, reconfiguration methods, communication methods to connect autonomous multibus systems
