    Get PDF
There is not many research conducted to find the relationship between Islamic bank and new Islamic bank in Malaysia specifically. The variables used in the study are capital adequacy ratio (CAR), Financial Risk and liquidity. This study is referred to a research done in Malaysia which used the same variables. Panel Regression Random effect model were applied in this study to determine the relationship between the CAR, FR and LIQ towards Return on Asset (profitability) of Islamic bank in Malaysia. The results obtained in this study indicate each variable has positive relationship and negative relationship with the performance of Islamic bank

Industrial Engineering and Quality Management is a branch of engineering subject that giving people knowledge about management in the industry. An industrial visit had been done due to this subject needed. The purpose of the visit is to identify an improvement that needed for the industry to make it more efficient and produce a good quality product and also managing the employee behaviour while at work. Industrial Engineering works to eliminate waste of time, money, materials, person-hours, machine time, energy, and other resources that do not generate value[1]. Industrial engineering is concerned with the development, improvement, and implementation of an integrated system of people, money, knowledge, information, equipment, energy, materials, analysis and synthesis. From all of the topic concern in industrial engineering then should be applied to the industry. In the factory sometimes have a bit of issue that they not notice out so there the function of Industrial Engineering will work. So from the industrial visit, there are some improvements that can be made such as grading system and standard of procedure. The old grading system of oil palm was not accurate enough, thus causing an error and producing poor oil quality. As the oil has less their grade so it will reduce the income of the factory because the buyer of the oil doesn’t take the responsibility due to the less of oil quality

Proboscis monkey (Nasalis larvatus van Wurmb, 1787) is entered endangered species, Appendix I CITES and endemic on the island of Borneo. Bakut Island Nature Tourism Park (NTP) is located in the Barito Kuala River Delta in South Kalimantan which is used as a natural habitat for re-release from the evacuation of conflict with humans or the result of community surrender. Monitoring of proboscis monkeys in Bakut Island NTP has been carried out since 2010 with baseline data on 29 individual proboscis monkeys. Data on population development over the past 9 years shows a fluctuating trend. This study aims to determine the dynamics of the proboscis monkey population in Bakut Island NTP of each year. This research was conducted in February to March 2020 in Bakut Island NTP. Bekantan population data collection using census survey methods directly by down the river using a boat in the morning and evening. The results of this study the development of the proboscis population within 10 years between 2010 and 2020 in the Bakut Island NTP experienced a change in the number of individuals from 29 to 90 individuals. Hunting of proboscis monkeys by the community does not occur at Bakut Island NTP because this location is included in a conservation area which is guarded by officers from morning to evening. Bekantan population density of 5.696 ind/ha with the number of individuals in a group between 25 to 39 individuals dominated by young age structure

Purpose: To evaluate the reliability of standardized uptake value (SUV) normalized to lean body mass for maximum (SULmax) and mean values (SULmean) as well as maximum SUV values (SUVmax) in contrast-enhanced 18F-FDG PET/CT by assessment of inter-reader agreement, using the liver as a reference organ. Materials and methods: 272 images of baseline PET/CT scans were analyzed. A volume of interest (VOI) of 30-mm in diameter was placed by two independent readers in the right liver lobe to measure the parameters. An analysis was performed for the variance, intra-class correlation coefficient (ICC), and Bland-Altman plots. Results and discussion: For Reader 1, the SUVmax ranging from 1.33 to 5.94 (3.20 ± 0.69), SULmean ranging from 0.84 to 3.46 (1.90 ± 0.40) and SULmax ranging from 1.18 to 4.07 (2.38 ± 0.50), were obtained; for Reader 2 the SUVmax ranging from 1.47 to 5.43 (3.20 ± 0.70), SULmean ranging from 0.84 to 3.45 (1.90 ± 0.40), and SULmax ranging from 1.18 to 4.48 (2.38 ± 0.50), were obtained. The coefficient of variance for SUVmax, SULmean, and SULmax, were 21.9%, 21.1%, and 20.8%, respectively, having no significant differences between Reader 1 and Reader 2. The ICC of the two readers for SUVmax, SULmean and SULmax were 0.975, 0.982 and 0.977 (95% CI of 0.97, 0.98 and 0.97; p < .001) respectively. Bland-Altman plots revealed that SUVmax gave the best agreement with 97.1% of measurements falling within 2SD. Conclusion: There is an excellent inter-reader agreement for liver SUVmax, SULmean and SULmax, and the best reliability of measurements achieved with SULmax in contrast-enhanced PET/CT scans

Reducing Honeypot Log Storage Capacity Consumption – Cron Job with Perl-Script Approach

    Get PDF
Honeypot is a decoy computer system that is used to attract and monitor hackers’ activities in the network. The honeypot aims to collect information from the hackers in order to create a more secure system. However, the log file generated by honeypot can grow very large when heavy traffic occurred in the system, such as Distributed Denial of Services’ (DDoS) attack. The DDoS possesses difficulty when it is being processed and analyzed by the network administrator as it required a lot of time and resources. Therefore, in this paper, we propose an approach to decrease the log size that is by using a Cron job that will run with a Perl-script. This approach parses the collected data into the database periodically to decrease the log size. Three DDoS attack cases were conducted in this study to show the increasing of the log size by sending a different amount of packet per second for 8 hours in each case. The results have shown that by utilizing the Cron job with Perl-script, the log size has been significantly reduced, the disk space used in the system has also decreased. Consequently, this approach capable of speeding up the process of parsing the log file into the database and thus, improving the overall system performance. This study contributes to providing a pathway in reducing honeypot log storage using the Cron job with Perl-Script.

Towards Designing A Hierarchical Fuzzy System for Early Diagnosis of Heart Disease

Heart disease may represent a range of conditions that affect our heart. Disease under heart diseases umbrella include coronary heart disease, heart attack, congestive heart failure, and congenital heart disease, is the leading cause of death. Mor eover, heart disease not only attacks the elderly. In the present day, lots of younger people might be getting affected by the number of heart diseases. In order to decrease the mortality rate caused by heart disease, it is necessary for the disease, to be diagnosed at an early stage. In this paper, we have proposed the use of hierarchical fuzzy systems (HFSs) for early diagnosis of heart disease. However, to design the HFSs is challenging, especially for the complex system. Therefore, in this paper, we foc us on designing a hierarchical fuzzy system to handle the complex medical application. The designed HFS consists of six key main steps implemented on heart disease. The input variables of heart disease includes shortness of breath, discomfort, pressure, he aviness, or pain in the chest, arm, or below the breastbone, fatigue, nausea, difficulties in climbing stairs, swelling in ankles, difficulty to sleep at night, irregular heartbeats, fullness, sweating, take frequent break during the day, dizzy and depress ed. Additionally, the output of heart disease is to classify whether the patient is healthy or suspecting with heart disease. The study contributes to providing insight into a way of designing the HFSs, particularly for the complex medical application
