Where Does the Density Localize? Convergent Behavior for Global Hybrids, Range Separation, and DFT+U

Approximate density functional theory (DFT) suffers from many-electron self- interaction error, otherwise known as delocalization error, that may be diagnosed and then corrected through elimination of the deviation from exact piecewise linear behavior between integer electron numbers. Although paths to correction of energetic delocalization error are well- established, the impact of these corrections on the electron density is less well-studied. Here, we compare the effect on density delocalization of DFT+U, global hybrid tuning, and range- separated hybrid tuning on a diverse test set of 32 transition metal complexes and observe the three methods to have qualitatively equivalent effects on the ground state density. Regardless of valence orbital diffuseness (i.e., from 2p to 5p), ligand electronegativity (i.e., from Al to O), basis set (i.e., plane wave versus localized basis set), metal (i.e., Ti, Fe, Ni) and spin state, or tuning method, we consistently observe substantial charge loss at the metal and gain at ligand atoms (ca. 0.3-0.5 e or more). This charge loss at the metal is preferentially from the minority spin, leading to increasing magnetic moment as well. Using accurate wavefunction theory references, we observe that a minimum error in partial charges and magnetic moments occur at higher tuning parameters than typically employed to eliminate energetic delocalization error. These observations motivate the need to develop multi-faceted approximate-DFT error correction approaches that separately treat density delocalization and energetic errors in order to recover both correct density and magnetization properties.Comment: 34 pages, 11 figure

Akibat dari peristiwa yang tidak biasa ini muncullah berbagai komentar baik itu positif maupun negatif. Masyarakat seringkali mengecap mereka sebagai pengangguran atau tidak bertanggung jawab, akhirnya bukannya sebagai solusi dari permasalahan pribadinya malah menjadi beban mental baru. Sebuah buku mampu memberikan pandangan baru terhadap permasalahan yang ada, dan sebuah gambar mampu bercerita banyak hal dari suatu peristiwa. Pemberian Rangkuman dalam Proses Belajar Mengajar

One factorthat can influence learning achievement is the quality ofthe teaching-learning process designed by the teacher and implemented in class. To improve that quality, the teacher should increase students\u27 active involvement in th,at process. One way to encourage students to be actively involved in it is providing them with a resume. The fimction ofaresume provided as a strategy oforganizing the teaching is to provide briefstatements about the main ideas ofthe contents ofthe teaching material being learned, together with easily remembered examples to refer to. The facts show that very many students are still low in level in their learning achievement. One strategy to remedy the situation is providing a resume. Four important points to consider in providing a resume in the teaching-learning process are information processing, cognitive structure, schemata, and the process ofmemorization. The resume will cause the contents ofthe teaching material to become more immediately meaningful to students. The main ideas slated in the resume can more easily guide students to the contents to be learned. In applying the concept of meaningful learning, cognitive structure and items of new knowledge play very important parts. Cognitive structure refers to all Imowledge already possessed by students as a result ofpast learning activity while items ofnew knowledge refer to those being learned by students

THE USE OF TEAM GAME TOURNAMENT TO IMPROVE STUDENTS’ ELT CLASSROOM INTERACTION AND READING COMPREHENSION IN RELATION TO SELF-EFFICACY

This research is aimed to find out the implementation of Team Game Tournament to improve students’ classroom interaction and reading comprehension viewed from self-efficacy. The subject of this study was 30 students at second grade students of SMPN 5 Kopang. Which consists of 14 males and 16 females. This study was classroom action research (CAR) with two cycles, each cycle consists of four steps: planning, acting, observing and reflecting. The first cycle was focused on the students’ classroom interaction. Meanwhile, the second cycle was oriented to solve the students’ improvement of reading comprehension. The data gathering used reading test, observation sheet, and questionnaires and analyzed by using quantitative and qualitative approach. The result of the questionnaire showed the students score in the first cycle was 16.86 or 56% and the second cycle showed the students' score was 27.10 or 90.3% indicating the target of 75 of the minimum criterion has been achieved, it means that the action was stopped in the cycle 2. In other words, the students’ classroom interaction and reading comprehension in relation to self-efficacy was improved by implementing team game tournament (TGT) for the eighth-grade students of SMPN 5 Kopang

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kompetensi yang diperlukan/dibutuhkan alumni Program Studi Pendidikan Ekonomi Universitas Riau yangbersumber dari tuntutan pekerjaan pada SMK di Pekanbaru dan mengindentifikasikonten atau materi khusus yang perlu dipadukan (diintegrasikan) atau ditambahkandalam kurikulum pada Program Studi Pendidikan Ekonomi FKIP UniversitasRiau.Rancangan penelitian ini pada dasarnya merupakan penelitian deskriptif daneksploratif.Dengan demikian setiap variabel penelitian dideskripsikan berdasarkandata yang dieksplor dari responden untuk mengidentifikasi unsur / komponenkurikulum.Bidang ilmu alumni Pendidikan Ekonomi FKIP Universitas Riau mencakupbidang ekonomi, koperasi dan akuntansi.Hasi penelitian ini menunjukkan dari 30responden dalam penelitian ini secara keseluruhan memiliki latar belakang keilmuanyang sesuai dengan bidang pekerjaan yang diampunya. Analisis Keterkaitan Data Transaksi Penjualan Buku Menggunakan Algoritma Apriori Dan Algoritma Centroid Linkage Hierarchical Method (Clhm)

Pengambilan keputusan merupakan faktor yang menentukan didalam sebuah Perusahaan. Kenyataannya pemanfaatan big data dalam sebuah pengambilan keputusan masih kurang efektif, salah satu contohnya adalah pemanfaatan big data perilaku belanja konsumen untuk menjadi sebuah pengetahuan yang mendukung pengambilan keputusan. Salah satu implementasi big data ini adalah pengambilan keputusan dalam penempatan barang pada rak toko buku. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut penelitian ini bertujuan mencari keterkaitan antara satu buku dengan buku yang lain didalam suatu set data dengan menggunakan teknik data mining, Penelitian ini memanfaatkan dua teknik data mining yaitu implementasi algoritma Apriori yang berfungsi untuk mendapatkan pola-pola item yang saling berkaitan kemudian algoritma CLHM (Centroid Linkage Hierarchical Method) untuk klasterisasi data. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel data 15 kategori item dari data belanja konsumen pada toko buku tahun 2014 selama 3 bulan.
