    Digitalization of Aeronautic Painting Shop Floors for Improved Commissioning Activities

    Industrial commissioning plays a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of facilities and minimizes downtime and maintenance costs over their lifetime. To extend and adjust commissioning capabilities, Virtual Commissioning uses digital models of devices and processes to verify, validate, and optimize code programming, and component selection. To perform the validation process, a simulation involving control devices and process digital twins is required, leading to inherent computational complexity. Distributed simulation approach allows for simulation of complex systems by breaking down a large simulation into smaller, manageable parts that can be run simultaneously on separate processors, while still preserving the overall behavior and interactions of the system being simulated. This paper presents a distributed Virtual Commissioning solution for a spray paint process presented in UAV painting shop floor. The methodology for developing the implementation is described in detail: greenfield scenario generation, automation process, software toolchain development, selection of communication protocols, re-use of digital twins for extended applications, and complexity analysis. A set of 3d scenarios is used to demonstrate the result’s performance

    Utérin Leiomyosarcoma is rare [1.5]. It is likely conjunctiva and developed at the expense of mesenchymal elements of the myometrium. The uterus bicornis united cervical represents 39% of all uterine malformations [8]. The prevalence of these abnormalities is estimated at 0.5%. The association leïomyosarcoma and uterine malformation still very exceptional. The purpose of our work is to study the unique combination from the clinical, paraclinical, pathological, and evolving therapeutic.Le léiomyosarcome utérin est une tumeur maligne, rare [1,5].Elle est de nature conjonctive et développée aux dépens des éléments mésenchymateux du myomètre. L’utérus bicorne uni cervical représente 39% de l’ensemble des malformations utérines [8]. La prévalence de ces malformations est estimée à 0,5%. L’association leïomyosarcome utérin et malformation utérine reste très exceptionnelle et ce du fait que la malformation utérine est de diagnostic précoce à un âge jeune contrairement au leiomyosarcome utérin qui survient chez des femmes d’âge avancé. Le but de notre travail est d’étudier à partir de notre observation cette association exceptionnelle sur le plan clinique, paraclinique, anatomopathologique, thérapeutique et évolutif

    Estimation of primary production in the Mahshahr creeks (Khozestan-Persian Gulf) using field and remote sensing data

    Primary production is an important indicator of aquatic ecological systems. The spatial and temporal pattern of OPP is helpful for global climate change study. In this study the spatial and temporal variability of primary productivity in the 3 creeks of Northwest of Persian Gulf from Feb 2014 to Nov 2014 was estimated using a VGPM primary productivity model and insitu measurement. Single Peak of primary productivity appeared in April (0.356 gc/m2/d) and fall in July (0.217gc/m2/d). From the correlation analysis, we found that observed primary production has a good relationship with measured primary production (p<0.01, R2=0.60). A linear regression was then established to quantify the relationship between them. The RMSE of its function was good (0.3 mg/m3). In summary, the Landsat8 data are potentially capable of monitoring Case-II waters such as this creeks to some extent

    A unifying theme of this conference was the use of different approaches to understand astrophysical sources of energetic particles in the TeV range and above.     Ultra-High Energy Cosmic Ray production in the polar cap regions of black hole magnetospheres

    We develop a model of ultra-high energy cosmic ray (UHECR) production via acceleration in a rotation-induced electric field in vacuum gaps in the magnetospheres of supermassive black holes (BH). We show that if the poloidal magnetic field near the BH horizon is misaligned with the BH rotation axis, charged particles, which initially spiral into the BH hole along the equatorial plane, penetrate into the regions above the BH "polar caps" and are ejected with high energies to infinity. We show that in such a model acceleration of protons near a BH of typical mass 3e8 solar masses is possible only if the magnetic field is almost aligned with the BH rotation axis. We find that the power of anisotropic electromagnetic emission from an UHECR source near a supermassive BH should be at least 10-100 times larger then UHECR power of the source. This implies that if the number of UHECR sources within the 100 Mpc sphere is ~100, the power of electromagnetic emission which accompanies proton acceleration in each source, 10424310^{42-43} erg/s, is comparable to the typical luminosities of active galactic nuclei (AGN) in the local Universe. We also explore the acceleration of heavy nuclei, for which the constraints on the electromagnetic luminosity and on the alignment of magnetic field in the gap are relaxed

    Data on cytotoxic and antibacterial activity of synthesized Fe3O4 nanoparticles using Malva sylvestris

    The biosynthesis of materials using medicinal plants can be a low-cost and eco-friendly approach due to their extraordinary properties. Herein, we reported a facile synthesis of Fe3O4 nanoparticles using Malva sylvestris. The surface morphology, functional groups, and elemental analysis were done to characterize the synthesized nanoparticles. The cytotoxicity performance of the synthesized nanoparticles was analyzed by exposing nanoparticles to MCF-7 and Hep-G2 cancer cell lines through MTT colorimetric assay and the IC50 value was defined as 100 μg/mL and 200 μg/mL, respectively. The antibacterial performance of synthesized nanoparticles against four different bacterial strains including Staphylococcus aureus, Corynebacterium, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and Klebsiella pneumoniae were assessed through microdilution broth method. The synthesized Fe3O4 nanoparticles using Malva sylvestris demonstrated higher antibacterial effects against Gram-positive strains with MIC values of 62.5 μg/mL and 125 μg/mL which increase the inhibitory percentage to more than 90%

    <p>Abstract</p> <p>Objective</p> <p>Numerous reports have shown the influence of renin, nitric oxide (NO) and the endothelin (ET) systems for regulation of blood pressure and renal function. Furthermore, interactions between these peptides have been reported. Aim of our study was to investigate the relative contribution of these compounds in long-term renovascular hypertension/renal ischemia.</p> <p>Methods</p> <p>Hypertension/left-sided renal ischemia was induced using the 2K1C-Goldblatt rat model. Renal renin, ET-1, ET-3 and endothelial NO synthase (eNOS) gene expression was measured by means of RNAse protection assay at different timepoints up to 10 weeks after induction of renal artery stenosis.</p> <p>Results</p> <p>Plasma renin activity and renal renin gene expression in the left kidney were increased in the clipped animals while eNOS expression was unchanged. Furthermore, an increase in ET-1 expression and a decrease of ET-3 expression was detected in early stenosis.</p> <p>Conclusions</p> <p>While renin is obviously involved in regulation of blood pressure and renal function in unilateral renal artery stenosis, ET-1, ET-3 and endothelium derived NO do not appear to play an important role in renal adaptation processes in long-term renal artery stenosis, although ET-1 and ET-3 might be involved in short-term adaptation processes.</p

    Searches for Periodic Neutrino Emission from Binary Systems with 22 and 40 Strings of IceCube

    Recent observations of GeV /TeV photon emission from several X-ray binaries have sparked a renewed interest in these objects as galactic particle accelerators. In spite of the available multi-wavelength data, their acceleration mechanisms are not determined, and the nature of the accelerated particles (hadrons or leptons) is unknown. While much evidence favors leptonic emission, it is very likely that a hadronic component is also accelerated in the jets of these binary systems. The observation of neutrino emission would be clear evidence for the presence of a hadronic component in the outflow of these sources. In this paper we look for periodic neutrino emission from binary systems. Such modulation, observed in the photon flux, would be caused by the geometry of these systems. The results of two searches are presented that differ in the treatment of the spectral shape and phase of the emission. The 'generic' search allows parameters to vary freely and best fit values, in a 'model-dependent' search, predictions are used to constrain these parameters. We use the IceCube data taken from May 31, 2007 to April 5, 2008 with its 22-string configuration, and from April 5, 2008 and May 20, 2009 with its 40-string configuration. For the generic search and the 40 string sample, we find that the most significant source in the catalog of 7 binary stars is Cygnus X-3 with a 1.8% probability after trials (2.10" sigma one-sided) of being produced by statistical fluctuations of the background. The model-dependent method tested a range of system geometries - the inclination and the massive star's disk size - for LS I+61 deg 303, no significant excess was found

    Endothelin 1 levels in relation to clinical presentation and outcome of Henoch Schonlein purpura

    <p>Abstract</p> <p>Background</p> <p>Henoch Schonlein purpura (HSP) is a common vasculitis of small vessels whereas endothelin-1 (ET-1) is usually reported elevated in vasculities and systematic inflammation. The aim of the present study was to investigate whether ET-1 levels are correlated with the clinical presentation and the outcome of HSP.</p> <p>Methods</p> <p>The study sample consisted of thirty consecutive patients with HSP. An equal number of healthy patients of similar age and the same gender were served as controls. The patients' age range was 2–12.6 years with a mean ± SD = 6.3 ± 3 years. All patients had a physical examination with a renal, and an overall clinical score. Blood and urinary biochemistry, immunology investigation, a skin biopsy and ET-1 measurements in blood and urine samples were made at presentation, 1 month later and 1 year after the appearance of HSP. The controls underwent the same investigation with the exception of skin biopsy.</p> <p>Results</p> <p>ET-1 levels in plasma and urine did not differ between patients and controls at three distinct time points. Furthermore the ET-1 were not correlated with the clinical score and renal involvement was independent from the ET-1 measurements. However, the urinary ET-1 levels were a significant predictor of the duration of the acute phase of HSP (HR = 0.98, p = 0.032, CI0.96–0.99). The ET-1 levels did not correlate with the duration of renal involvement.</p> <p>Conclusion</p> <p>Urinary ET-1 levels are a useful marker for the duration of the acute phase of HSP but not for the length of renal involvement.</p
