Se comienza por una discusión sobre la no petinencia de utilizar el concepto de ontología en relación a las culturas amerindias. Que carecen de interés por la metafísica, tal como ésta ha sio creada en el pensamineto griego. Se sigue, después, por una exposición sobre las representaciones amerindias del tiempo, del cuerpo y la constitución del ser moral. En los tres casos, se muestra el rasgo dominante de su ambivalencia. Por último, se sugiere que una mejor comprensión de los aspectos ideológicos de las culturas amerindias ha de hacerse evitando la lógica binaria y procurando trasladar a los estudios culturales algunos de los principios y procedimentos de la lógica difusa

El amor a la patria y a la tribu. Las retóricas de la memoria incómoda

Attention is directed to moral attitudes and emotions generated by national anthems and by a certain category of Indianist poetry, with commentary being made on a selection of texts from the perspective of an aesthetic of reception. Patriotic anthems and tribal verses constitute rhetorics which construct differentiated amorous sentiments. However, notwithstanding the specificity of different forms of expression, anthems and poems elaborate the love for imaginary communities as an instrument for concealing or disguising emotional ambiguity of the contemporary individual in the face of collective subjects. Country and tribe, when converted into building materials of self, become part of (affective) intimacy even as they represent an insatiable or necessary other, as may be the case. Such narratives arise from a troubling memory, as the expression of memory's discomfort.Se atiende a las emociones y actitudes morales generadas por los himnos nacionales y por cierta clase de poesía indianista, algunos de cuyos textos son comentados desde la perspectiva de una estética de la recepción. Ansiedad y rendimiento atlético en condiciones de estrés : efectos moduladores de la practica

En dos estudios se investigan los efectos de la ansiedad (rasgo, estado somático y estado cognitivo) en pruebas de rendimiento atlético (fuerza, habilidad y resistencia) bajo condiciones de estrés de competición. La ansiedad tuvo un efecto negativo en tres pruebas: lanzamiento de balón, habilidad con móviles (ansiedad cognitiva) y equilibrio dinámico (ansiedad somática). Este efecto no estuvo moderado por la frecuencia con que los sujetos informaban de haber practicado ejercicio en el pasado, ni por su capacidad aeróbica. En cambio, el entrenamiento físico programado en aptitudes de fuerza, habilidad y resistencia contribuyó a reducir los efectos negativos de la ansiedad. Se sugiere que el entrenamiento cumple esta función amortiguadora porque permite reinterpretar los síntomas de ansiedad positivamente y utilizarlos de modo compensatorio.In this two studies, the effects of anxiety (trait, somatic and cognitive state) on athletic performance (strength, flexibility, and endurance) under competitive stress conditions were examined. Anxiety was associated with a detrimental effect on three tests: throwing of a ball, corporal ability with moving object (cognitive anxiety), and dynamic equilibrium (somatic anxiety). This effect was not moderated by frequency of reported prior practice, or by aerobic fitness. In contrast, physical training on strength, flexibility, and endurance reduced the negative effects of anxiety. It is suggested that physical training has this beneficial role because it furthers a positive reinterpretation of somatic anxiety symptoms and a compensatory use of cognitive worry

A 5G mobile network architecture to support vertical industries

The telecom industry is moving from a "horizontal" service delivery model, where services are defined independent of their consumers, toward a "vertical" delivery model, where the provided services are tailored to specific industry sectors and verticals. In order to enable this transition, an end-to-end comprehensive 5G architecture is needed, with capabilities to support the use cases of the different vertical industries. A key feature of this architecture is the implementation of network slicing over a single infrastructure to provision highly heterogeneous vertical services, as well as a network slicing management system capable of handling simultaneous slices. On top of the network slicing technology, functionality needs to be devised to deploy the slices required by the different vertical players and provide them with a suitable interface to manage their slice. In this article, we design a 5G mobile network architecture to support vertical industries. The proposed architecture builds on ongoing standardization efforts at 3GPP and ETSI, and incorporates additional modules to provide enhanced MANO and control functionality as well as artificial-intelligence-based data analytics. On top of these modules, a service layer is provided to offer vertical players an easyto- use interface to manage their services.This work was supported by the H2020 5G-TOURS European project (Grant Agreement No. 856950)

Towards a cloud-based university accelerated by the pandemic

P.: 642-1649.The coronavirus pandemic has accelerated the digital transformation of society, and in particular of university teaching. Professors who were reluctant or unwilling to take advantage of what digital technologies offered suddenly were forced to teach with technologies. In this paper, we describe teaching during the two main phases during the pandemic at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M): the first phase during the complete lockdown and the second where students were allowed on campus with limitations. GPLSI-UH LETO V1.0: Learning Engine Through Ontologies

LETO es un marco de aprendizaje de ontologías diseñado para extraer conocimiento de una variedad de fuentes. Estas fuentes pudieran ser datos estructurados y no estructurados, y de ellas se podrá descubrir, actualizar continuamente, enriquecer e integrar información relevante como parte de un único conocimiento semántico. En la actual versión 1.0 se limita a la extracción de conocimiento desde datos no estructurados, i.e. textos en lenguaje natural, siguiendo el modelo semántico publicado en [EGM2018]. Entre sus funcionalidades está la extracción de entidades y relaciones semánticas desde fuentes textuales; la transformación de esta información en elementos interrelacionados mediante técnicas de agrupamientos; y finalmente generación de ontologías representativas del contenido procesado. Se proporciona un punto de acceso API, y una herramienta visual para la manipulación de procesos y visualización de las ontologías obtenidas [EMA2019].LETO is an ontology learning framework designed to extract knowledge from a variety of sources. These sources may be structured and/or unstructured data, and from them we can discover, continuously update, enrich and integrate relevant information as part of a single semantic knowledge resource. The current 1.0 version is limited to the extraction of knowledge from unstructured data, i.e. natural language texts, following the semantic model published in [EGM2018]. Among this version’s functionalities are the extraction of entities and semantic relations from textual sources; the transformation of such information into linked elements through clustering techniques; and finally, the generation of representative ontologies of the processed content. ECG study in practical labs for biomedical engineering training

Non-invasive biomedical measurements are one of the most important technological contributions whitin the biomedical engineering field. On this paper, a dual laboratory session student oriented is designed to simulate and implement a cardial signal monitor. During the first session, ORCAD PSpice software is used to simulate the whole process. The students can acquire knowledge on the process by configuring and running both the instrumentation amplifier and a passive filter to improve the signal quality. The second session requires from the student basic laboratory skills to use a specific printed circuit board (PCB) to measure its very own cardiac potential. As a result, from this session, the student can visualize the ECG signal acquired directly on the laboratory oscilloscope

Resumen de TASS 2018: Opiniones, Salud y Emociones

This is an overview of the Workshop on Semantic Analysis at the SEPLN congress held in Sevilla, Spain, in September 2018. This forum proposes to participants four different semantic tasks on texts written in Spanish. Task 1 focuses on polarity classification; Task 2 encourages the development of aspect-based polarity classification systems; Task 3 provides a scenario for discovering knowledge from eHealth documents; finally, Task 4 is about automatic classification of news articles according to safety. The former two tasks are novel in this TASS's edition. We detail the approaches and the results of the submitted systems of the different groups in each task.Este artículo ofrece un resumen sobre el Taller de Análisis Semántico en la SEPLN (TASS) celebrado en Sevilla, España, en septiembre de 2018. Este foro propone a los participantes cuatro tareas diferentes de análisis semántico sobre textos en español. La Tarea 1 se centra en la clasificación de la polaridad; la Tarea 2 anima al desarrollo de sistemas de polaridad orientados a aspectos; la Tarea 3 consiste en descubrir conocimiento en documentos sobre salud; finalmente, la Tarea 4 propone la clasificación automática de noticias periodísticas según un nivel de seguridad. Las dos últimas tareas son nuevas en esta edición.
