Incidencia de la localización industrial en la expansión de las ciudades: la industria del tequila en Arandas y Tequila, Jal

El desarrollo y crecimiento de las ciudades se ve afectado por distintos factores, ya sea naturales o manipulados por el hombre, en el caso de este estudio la industria será el factor a analizar mediante una comparativa de dos poblaciones del estado de Jalisco que tienen como común denominador la industria del tequila: Arandas y Tequila. Por un lado la industria en Arandas parece haber encontrado su lugar fuera de la mancha urbana mientras que por su parte Tequila mantiene sus fábricas unidas a la ciudad, en parte para explotar la imagen de pueblo tequilero hacia el turismo, a pesar de que las teorías de la localización industrial dicen lo contrario en cuanto a productividad se refiere, lo que se pretende obtener al final del estudio es conocer cómo influye cada una de estas diferentes localizaciones a su respectiva ciudad.The development and growth of the cities are affected by different factors, they can be natural or manipulated by the man, in the case of this study the industry will be the factor to analyze by means of a comparative of two cities in the state of Jalisco that have like common denominator the industry of the tequila: Arandas and Tequila. On one hand the industry in Arandas seems to have found its place outside the urban areas and on the other hand Tequila maintains its factories together with the city, partly to operate the image of traditional town towards the tourism, although the theories of the industrial location say the opposite as far as productivity talks about, which is tried to obtain at the end of the study is to know how it influences each from these different locations from his respective city.Peer Reviewe

Propuesta de Modernización Administrativa en el Instituto Nacional de Migración: Caso Delegación Federal en el Estado de México; Área de Regulación Migratoria

En el presente trabajo de investigación se abordará el tema de modernización administrativa dentro del Instituto Nacional de Migración (INM), específicamente en la delegación federal en el Estado de México, dentro del área de regulación migratoria. Se decidió trabajar sobre ésta temática debido a la experiencia laboral de más de un año con la que cuento dentro del área de regulación migratoria, y además de esto por las condiciones actuales en las que varios servidores públicos desenvolvemos nuestro trabajo para ofrecerles un servicio a las personas que hacen uso de los diferentes trámites que se realizan en esa área. Debido al constante contacto con el que cuento en regulación migratoria, me he percatado que se puede modernizar esta área sustancial de migración, a través de métodos de los que se vale la Administración Pública para hacer mejoras u optimizar el servicio público, en este caso el presente trabajo se rige bajo la modernización administrativa. Todo esto antes mencionado con la única finalidad de proporcionar un mejor servicio al usuario del INM. Es a partir de todo esto que el objetivo de esta investigación consiste en elaborar una propuesta de modernización administrativa para mejorar de manera integral el servicio que se brinda en esta área. De ésta manera al concluir nuestra investigación determinaremos si la falta de herramientas de modernización administrativa en la delegación federal del INM en el Estado de México, específicamente en el área de regulación migratoria, ocasiona que la prestación de los servicios no sea eficiente a los usuarios. La metodología que se utilizará para efectos de este trabajo de investigación será el método descriptivo, debido a que se realizará una descripción de las condiciones actuales del área de regulación migratoria de la delegación federal del INM en el Estado de México en términos de modernización administrativa, para después poder emitir una propuesta que desemboque en una mejora al área migratoria ya mencionada, a través de herramientas de modernización administrativa

Measuring the capacitor charge and discharge with a LED and a smartphone

In this article, we present a simple, inexpensive, and effective method for measuring the capacitor charge and discharge processes using a light-emitting diode (LED) and the light meter of a smartphone. We propose a simple circuit in which the LED's brightness is linear on the capacitor's voltage, allowing us to use the smartphone to monitor the capacitor state accurately. The method is tested experimentally, giving highly satisfactory results. Its exceptional combination of accuracy, minimal requirements, and ease of setup makes it an excellent way to introduce undergraduate students to the concepts of electricity and electronics in any educational setting.Comment: 6 pages, 6 figure

¿Hacia dónde vamos? Reflexiones sobre el quehacer del matemático educativo

Dado que la Matemática Educativa es una disciplina relativamente naciente, suelen surgir, sobre todo en quienes recién incursionamos en dicho campo, las preguntas de “¿Cuál es el quehacer del matemático educativo? ¿Hacia dónde vamos?” Ante esta situación, el presente trabajo pretende reflexionar sobre el camino transcurrido, el que actualmente estamos transitando y el posible camino futuro, con base, principalmente, en las reflexiones que se obtuvieron de una mesa de discusión realizada con reconocidos investigadores del campo educativo en el “Seminario de los Jueves” del Centro de Investigación y de Estudios Avanzados del IPN. Asimismo, se retomarán algunas de las experiencias empíricas en las cuales incidió la disciplina, algunas en las que está trabajando y se conjeturarán las perspectivas futuras en las que se propone trabajar

Optimal COVID-19 Adapted Table Disposition in Hostelry for Guaranteeing the Social Distance through Memetic Algorithms

[EN] The COVID-19 pandemic has challenged all physical interactions. Social distancing, face masks and other rules have reshaped our way of living during the last year. The impact of these measures for indoor establishments, such as education or hostelry businesses, resulted in a considerable organisation problem. Achieving a table distribution inside these indoor spaces that fulfilled the distancing requirements while trying to allocate the maximum number of tables for enduring the pandemic has proved to be a considerable task for multiple establishments. This problem, defined as the Table Location Problem (TLP), is categorised as NP-Hard, thus a metaheuristic resolution is recommended. In our previous works, a Genetic Algorithm (GA) optimisation was proposed for optimising the table distribution in real classrooms. However, the proposed algorithm performed poorly for high obstacle density scenarios, especially when allocating a considerable number of tables due to the existing dependency between adjacent tables in the distance distribution. Therefore, in this paper, we introduce for the first time, to the authors’ best knowledge, a Memetic Algorithm (MA) optimisation that improves the previously designed GA through the introduction of a Gradient Based Local Search. Multiple configurations have been analysed for a real hostelryrelated scenario and a comparison between methodologies has been performed. Results show that the proposed MA optimisation obtained adequate solutions that the GA was unable to reach, demonstrating a superior convergence performance and an overall greater flexibility. The MA performance denoted its value not only from a COVID-19 distancing perspective but also as a flexible managing algorithm for daily table arrangement, thus fulfilling the main objectives of this paper.SIMinisterio de Ciencia, Innovación y Universidade
