Jaringan Komunikasi dan Peran Perempuan dalam Mempertahankan Budaya Rudat (Studi pada Masyarakat Desa Negeri Katon, Kecamatan Negeri Katon, Lampung Selatan)

The objectives of the research were (1) to describe the configuration of communication network related to thedissemination of information about the rudat culture and to examine its specific roles in the network (2) to examinethe role of women in the process of dissemination of information about the rudat culture and the ceremony in DesaNegeri Katon, and (3) to examine the relation between the peoples communication network and the role of women inthe process of dissemination of information about the rudat culture and the ceremony in Desa Negeri Katon. TheResearch was held upon the people of Desa Negeri Katon, Kecamatan Negeri Katon, South Lampung. Primary datahad been collected by methods of survey, sociometry and indepth interview. The survey was held by sets ofquestionnaire asked to 97 respondents, the sociometry was used to analize the communication network, and theindepth interviews were used in collecting qualitative data. The intervariable relation was then analized usingstatistical test correlational coefficient rank spearman and the multilinear regression test. The results showed that 1)the structure communication network composes a mere great clique, 2) the specific roles in the network are star andneglectee, and 3) there are significant connection between its communication network with the roles of woman in theprocess of dissemination of information

Insulin-Like Growth Factor-I Concentration in the Follicular Fluid of Bali Cattle and Its Role in the Oocyte Nuclear Maturation and Fertilization Rate

The objective of this study was to determine the concentration of IGF-I in the follicular fluid (FF) of Bali cattle and its role in the nuclear maturation and fertilization rate. The follicular fluid was collected by the aspiration technique, then it was centrifuged at 1500 g for 30 min at 24oC. The supernatant was collected and stored at -20oC until being used in the experiment for analysis of IGF-1. A total of 1105 oocytes were used in this study. The oocytes were matured in M199 without supplementation of bovine serum albumin, with supplementation of BSA, and with supplementations of 10% FF (v/v) from the follicle with diameter Ø<4 mm, 4≤Ø<6 mm, 6≤Ø<8 mm, and Ø≥8 mm at the luteal phase and then fertilized. The results showed that the concentrations of IGF-I in the FF obtained during the luteal phase was significantly higher (P<0.05) compared to those obtained during follicular phase. The IGF-I concentrations in the follicular fluid of follicle with diameter smaller than 6 mm were significantly higher (P<0.05) compared to those with diameters larger than 6 mm. The percentage of nuclear maturation rate of oocytes cultured with FF obtained from follicle with diameter <4 mm was significantly higher (P<0.05) compared to those obtained from the other groups of follicle diameters. The supplementation of maturation media with BSA and FF were able to improve fertilization rate significantly (P<0.05) compared to maturation media without BSA. In conclusion, the concentration of IGF-I in the follicular fluid obtained during the luteal phase was higher compared to those obtained during the follicular phase. The IGF-I concentrations in the follicular fluid of smaller follicles (diameter <6 mm) were higher compared to those in the large follicles (diameter ≥6 mm). Surveilens Penyakit Jantung dan Pembuluh Darah di Dinas Kesehatan Provinsi Riau

Indonesia sedang mengalami transisi epidemiologi dibuktikan dengan terjadinya peningkatan angka kematian akibat penyakit non infeksi. Salah satu penyakit non infeksi yang saat ini cenderung menunjukkan peningkatan angka kesakitan yang cukup tinggi adalah Penyakit Jantung dan Pembuluh Darah (PJPD). Langkah awal untuk pengendalian dan pencegahan adalah melaksanakan Program Surveilens PJPD melalui deteksi dini. Surveilens aktif di lakukan di Kabupaten Kampar. Hasil Surveilans PPJPD dari faktor risiko adalah obesitas umum 11,2%, obesitas sentral 41,4%, hiperkolesterol 65,4%, Diabetes Melitus 5,6%, dan kelainan jantung 46,2%. Prevalensi faktor risiko dan gaya hidup adalah kebiasaan merokok 24,3%, kebiasaan mengkonsumsi alkohol 11,9%, kebiasaan mengkonsumsi asin 41,2%, kebiasaan mengkonsumsi lemak tinggi 72,5%, kurang mengkonsumsi sayur dan buah 53,3%, kurang aktivitas 59,3%, dan stress tinggi 35%. Untuk itu perlu dilakukan survei deteksi dini secara berkala dan berkesinambungan, mengintensifkan penyuluhan kesehatan dan melibatkan peran serta aktif masyarakat

PELATIHAN PENYUSUNAN LAPORAN KEUANGAN UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KOMPETENSI PENGELOLA KOPERASI

Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh Koperasi Cagar Jaga Nusantara (CGN) adalah kurang mampu menyusun laporan keuangan berdasarkan prinsip-prinsip yang benar.  Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan maksud untuk memfasilitasi sebuah pelatihan dalam rangka penyusunan laporan keuangan bagi anggota dan pengelola koperasi. Manfaat yang diharapkan adalah pengelola mampu melakukan penyusunan laporan keuangan, sehingga mereka mengetahui keadaan keuangan koperasi saat ini.  Metode dalam kegiatan ini adalah memberikan pelatihan penyusunan laporan keuangan, dengan memberikan pemahaman tentang seluruh aktivitas keuangan yang dilakukan oleh koperasi, bahwa seluruh aktivitas keuangan tersebut harus dicatat secara sistematis.  Setelah itu dilakukan bimbingan teknis, dimana tim pelaksana memberikan bimbingan secara langsung bagi pengelola koperasi untuk menyusun laporan keuangan. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah tersusunnya laporan keuangan koperasi yang sesuai dengan prinsip-prinsip keuangan, disamping adanya peningkatan kompetensi dari pengelola koperasi khususnya dalam menyusun dan membuat laporan keuangan. Kegiatan ini juga memberikan manfaat bagi dosen-dosen Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara sebagai pelaksana kegiatan, untuk dapat mengimplementasikan ilmu pengetahuan yang dimilikinya kepada masyarakat luas

The S4–S5 Linker Acts as a Signal Integrator for hERG K+ Channel Activation and Deactivation Gating

Human ether-à-go-go-related gene (hERG) K+ channels have unusual gating kinetics. Characterised by slow activation/deactivation but rapid inactivation/recovery from inactivation, the unique gating kinetics underlie the central role hERG channels play in cardiac repolarisation. The slow activation and deactivation kinetics are regulated in part by the S4–S5 linker, which couples movement of the voltage sensor domain to opening of the activation gate at the distal end of the inner helix of the pore domain. It has also been suggested that cytosolic domains may interact with the S4–S5 linker to regulate activation and deactivation kinetics. Here, we show that the solution structure of a peptide corresponding to the S4–S5 linker of hERG contains an amphipathic helix. The effects of mutations at the majority of residues in the S4–S5 linker of hERG were consistent with the previously identified role in coupling voltage sensor movement to the activation gate. However, mutations to Ser543, Tyr545, Gly546 and Ala548 had more complex phenotypes indicating that these residues are involved in additional interactions. We propose a model in which the S4–S5 linker, in addition to coupling VSD movement to the activation gate, also contributes to interactions that stabilise the closed state and a separate set of interactions that stabilise the open state. The S4–S5 linker therefore acts as a signal integrator and plays a crucial role in the slow deactivation kinetics of the channel

Changes in Channel Trafficking and Protein Stability Caused by LQT2 Mutations in the PAS Domain of the HERG Channel

Inherited human long-QT2 syndrome (LQTS) results from mutations in the gene encoding the HERG channel. Several LQT2-associated mutations have been mapped to the amino terminal cytoplasmic Per-Arnt-Sim (PAS) domain of the HERG1a channel subunit. Here we have characterized the trafficking properties of some LQT2-associated PAS domain mutants and analyzed rescue of the trafficking mutants by low temperature (27°C) or by the pore blocker drug E4031. We show that the LQT2-associated mutations in the PAS domain of the HERG channel display molecular properties that are distinct from the properties of LQT2-associated mutations in the trans-membrane region. Unlike the latter, many of the tested PAS domain LQT2-associated mutations do not result in trafficking deficiency of the channel. Moreover, the majority of the PAS domain mutations that cause trafficking deficiencies are not rescued by a pore blocking drug. We have also explored the in vitro folding stability properties of isolated mutant PAS domain proteins using a thermal unfolding fluorescence assay and a chemical unfolding assay

Masalah utama dalam penelitian ini adalah penegakan hukum identitas ganda warganegara Indonesia di daerah perbatasan. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode yuridis normatif, yaitu penelitian yang menggunakan norma-norma dalam UUD 1945 dan peraturan Perundang-undangan lainnya yang terkait dengan objek penelitian. Penelitian ini merupakan tindak lanjut dari hasil penelitian sebelumnya dengan judul legalitas Surat Keterangan Tinggal Sementara (SKTS) oleh Unit Imigrasi di Pos Lintas Batas Indonesia. Terutama di Pos Lintas Batas di Kabupaten Nunukan, Kalimantan Utara. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa masalah penegakan hukum dapat diimplementasikan dengan pendekatan keadilan bagi warganegara dan Negara. Prinsip keadilan John Ralws dalam pendekatan kesejahteraan warganegara perbatasan. Penyempurnaan undang-undang ini mampu memberikan peran pendidikan bagi warganegara dan memastikan kelangsungan hak-hak Negara dalam menjamin dan melindungi warganegara Indonesia di wilayah perbatasan Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia

The meaning of philosophy contained in suntiang mangkuto is that women in minangkabau should not uphold the heavy burden.
